I am excited to share that I will be participating in this year’s Butte County Fair with my market rabbit meat pen. Raising rabbits has been a deeply rewarding experience for me. Through this project, I have learned essential skills in animal husbandry, nutrition, and overall care. My rabbits have been raised with the utmost attention to their health and well-being, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality. The Butte County Fair will be held from August 21, 2024 to August 25, 2024 with the livestock auction scheduled for August 24, 2024 at 10 am. This year as well you can go on to bidcal.com starting Friday August 23, 2024 where you can start bidding or do add ons before the in person auction Saturday this allows if you just want to give a add on or if you can not attend in person for the auction. This auction is a critical event for young agriculturalists like myself, offering a platform to showcase our hard work and dedication.
