This is a very special auction to us here at BWCC. This auction is for the estate of a longtime friend of ours and coin club member that brought a lot to everyone that met him. He trusted us, and no one else, to liquidate his estate if something happened to him and unfortunately a few months back, that is sadly what happened. He was great collector of a lot of things. Some of them very nice and collected as investments, some of them not and collected just for the sake of collecting. Over the next two auctions (and maybe a third) we will share with you his collection and give everyone a chance to own a piece of what he collected. Nothing would make him happier than knowing a a bunch of collectors ended up with his stuff, so here we go. This first auction has lots and lots of nice Silver and Gold Coins in it. He really appreciated older gold pieces (don't we all!) and it showed in his collection. As you go thru the catalog, I'm sure you will find something that would be a great part of your own collection, either gold or silver. A couple things we are passing along on his behalf to you: First, all gold items will come with a lower buyers premium of only 10%. We are doing that so that you may bid at higher prices without paying the normal fee. We are hoping by doing that it will generate better sales for the family trust that the proceeds are going into plus it gives you a chance to get some great items at a better price. There is a caveat with this though. Due to the number of bad people and scammers out there that buy gold and then do a chargeback on the credit card. All gold items and any coins over $1000 must be paid with either Venmo or a cashier's check, either due within the same rules, 24 hours of auction close. All other normal auction rules apply except that all gold coins and other coins of $1000 or more value will be shipped with Adult Verified signature required.
