All American Muffler & Brake went out of business and we will be conducting a live auction on the premesis July 30th @ 9am. We will be offering the following 4 items to place ABSENTEE BIDS before the live auction begins. Absentee bidding will end at 5am on July 30th. You must have the ability to move the equipment out of the location by the end of July unless prior arrangements are made with auction firm prior to bidding. How does absentee bidding work? When you find a lot on which you want to bid, register to participate in the auction. Once you're approved, go back to the lot page and input the MAXIMUM amount you are willing to pay for the lot. This amount is your absentee bid. Before the auction starts, we view all the absentee bids and calculate the winning absentee bid - the second highest bid plus one bid increment. Only the auctioneer will be notified of the winning absentee bid value. ------------------------------ Here is an example: -Erik places an absentee bid of $1,000 for Lot #123 -Dick places an absentee bid of $1,500 for Lot #123 -Dan places an absentee bid of $2,000 for Lot #123 -In this example, Dan will emerge as the winning bidder with an absentee bid amount of $1,600 ($1,500 plus one bid increment of $100). When the live auction starts, we notify the auctioneer of the internet absentee bid for $1,600. If no higher bids are received during the auction, Dan will be the winner. However, if a floor bidder places a bid above $1,600, the auctioneer will then bid on Dan's behalf up to his maximum of $2,000.
