For a time he worked with his sone Nathanial before Nathanial moved first to Louisville and eventually to Memphis, TN.

J. SANDERSON WORTHINGTON MS 9-inch miter plane with DWIGHTS? & FOSTER blade that looks to have been cut down from a wider blade, very good overall. The WORTHINGTON name has been partially overstruck with a KENNEDY name, and a owner J. RUNDLETT name stamped on toe, a very good plane overall.

Nice 7 1/4-inch toothing plane with MAW & STALEY blade, MAW & STALEY were Sheffield makers 1822-1823 only, very good overall.

Fine M. COPELAND unhandled screw-arm plow plane with boxwood nuts, screw-operated depth stop, one blade included.

Nice W.L. MYERS PAT. AUG. 11, 1903 brass plumb & level fixture that was sold with four screws and was intended to be let into a wooden stock that the buyer would have or make, this one is very good and comes with a 26-in. stock with giant hang hole.

Nicely made turning saw with a 15-inch blade, very good overall.

Stanley 28-inch rosewood plumb & level with brass side views and brass feet on bottom of stock, has the STANLEY logo and patent dates in the brass plate that covers the end of the plumb vial, this is a nice big stick of rosewood.

Helb Patent inclinometer level patented July 12, 1904 by Edward Helb of Railroad, Pa (U.S. Patent No. 764,809) designed for road building and construction, this one is missing the glass lens that covers the inclinometer dial, all three vials intact as is the compass, the stock could benefit from a light scraping and a new lens will go a long way toward preserving the glass label behind the inclinometer pointer.

Unusual wooden GRAVITY PROTRACTOR PATENT No. 1594604, WEBBER COSELLO COMPANY, CHICAGO HEIGHTS ILLINOIS, very good.

Unknown make 3-inch slick, has light rust covering the entire blade, with a cleaning a makers mark may be revealed, the socket is drilled for a countersunk screw to lock the wooden handle, but the screw is MIA, this handle is cracked and part of the round end is sheared off, if you're going to clean and use it, you'll want to make a new handle too.

RICKARD ST. LOUIS complex profile molding plane, ill-fitting oak wedge is split, a new beech wedge and this one could be put back to use, good overall.

Unknown make 3-inch slick, comes with a decent handle, will make a good user.

Stanley No. 66 hand beader with both flat and round fences, two beading blades and a blank are in the bottom of the fine owner-made wooden box, and there is a glass bottle full of blades too. I opened the bottle and went to remove the blades to count them but they're soaking in oil and I just sealed it up and will let the new owner count them and clean the oil off. This is a fine beader and can be put right back to work.

Stanley No. 71 open-throat router plane MADE IN ENGLAND in original box, comes with the throat-closing attachment, and all three blades (1/4, 1/2 & V-shaped) and adjustable fence, a fine router in a somewhat tatty box.

Stanley No. 8 iron jointer plane with fine rosewood tote and tall knob, fine SW-logo blade, some very light rust on the exposed surfaces, will clean to fine overall. Comes with a 1.8-oz. block of "Plane Sole Wax ski wax for your plane."

Nice goose-wing axe with 13 1/2-inch edge, said by the Virginia seller to have been made in Pennsylvania, there are no touch marks or names that we can find on it, the handle is very good too.

They were called the Russell Barlow knife and instead of the word BARLOW on the bolster, they were stamped with Russell's mark, an R with an arrow through it. Mystery tool (a chisel sharpener?) that mounts to a bench or table and is hand cranked. Has a wire brush inside that rotates when handle is cranked, it had a WHAT'SIIT tag on it when we found it, so was likely once submitted to the WHATSIT session at a MWTCA Collectors Meeting, very interesting.

Large wooden mystery tool similar to a miter jack except this one has three moving pieces that that be hooked together to be moved by the screw on the end. Very unusual.

Scarce ZENITH embossed double bit axe from the Marshall Wells Hardware Company of Duluth Minnesota, good to very good overall.

Machinist tool chest with brown tin outside and oak drawer fronts, has drop-down panel that hides the drawers and it has a hasp the can be locked with a padlock. Chest has a smattering of tools that were in it when we found it.

Nice SEEDBURO EQUIPMENT COMPANY 5-foot brass grain probe with wooden knob, for sticking into a truck or boxcar load of grain to take a sample to check moisture consistency etc. Comes with section of PVC pipe to protect it. (top one in second photo of probes)
