This June we are going to host an incredible auction for you in Falls Church, VA. All items will be listed to an online auction catalog where all bidding will take place. We have uncovered a time capsule of a collection with everything from fine designer handbags and clothing, to silver and crystal, to 1960's Danish modern furniture. It is clear the owners had great pride of ownership, since everything inside the home is in excellent condition and most furniture is in like-new condition. Even the home is well maintained and looks just as clean as the day it was built. This is a total liquidation of this estate, EVERYTHING MUST GO! Bid soon, bid often, and check back daily for updates to the catalog. Preview and Pickup at: 3412 Slade Ct. Falls Church, VA 22042. The home is located in the Falls Church near the Beech Tree Elementary School. Live preview/inspection: Wednesday, June 6th from 10am-4pm. All bidding will take place online. Buyers must register with the credit card they are paying with. Cards will be charged directly at the conclusion of the auction. Your Paid Receipt will be emailed to you expeditiously after said transaction. Parking is limited which is why we will schedule pickups in 10 minute intervals. Don’t worry about running over 10 minutes, as your items will be clustered and/or grouped at the conclusion of the auction. This will save you time and us stress as we WILL unload the entire home of its contents within the two day pickup window. Two day pickup window by Appointment only on: -Friday, June 8th from 10am-7pm BY APPOINTMENT ONLY -Saturday June 9th from 10am-4pm BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. Buyers will make an appointment to pickup their purchases only AFTER you have won the an item, via our scheduling software at Appointly.com. The link to schedule an appointment will be emailed to you with your Paid in Full receipt, directly after the auction ends. Pickup appointments are strict, mandatory and magnanimous. You may reschedule your appointment within 1-hour of your appointment.
*Auction Location: 3412 Slade Ct. Falls Church, VA 22042 *By placing a bid on any item at our auction, you agree to the following terms: *All invoices must be paid for during the pickup window. For this auction, your credit card will be charged at the end of the auction. We will charge the credit card on file at the END of the auction, once all the bids are in and all items have closed. *This sale is for a total home clear-out and there will be NO EXCEPTIONS to the pickup window. Since the home is selling soon after the window concludes, all items left will be donated or disposed of immediately. *Buyers MUST use the link to the appointment software, Appointly.com, to obtain their items. A link to this calendar will be emailed to each buyer after the conclusion of the auction, once all invoices have been paid. *Buyers must bring their own packing material for any and all items. We do not have the resources to supply packing materials for this auction. *Buyers enter the property at their own risk. Fair Auction Company, LLC nor its auctioneers, consignors, nor property owners will not be held liable for any injuries to the buyer or buyers party on, at, or near the auction location. You are responsible for payment of the item including buyer's premium, tax, storage fees and any applicable fees associated with said item(s). * By registering to bid at our auction, you agree and understand that charge backs are not permitted at our auction, and that all sales are final. * All titles and descriptions are believed accurate but not guaranteed. Bidders should inspect in person, and perform further research into items of interest before bidding. * Bidder inspection is highly encouraged and we allow extremely flexible hours for inspection. In the event a bidder is unable to meet the scheduled times for inspection, they may schedule an after-hours meeting. The auctioneer reserves the right to refuse an unreasonable meeting request outside of scheduled hours. * By placing a bid, the bidder signifies that they have examined the items to their satisfaction, or that they have chosen not to personally examine them. Should they choose not to personally examine them in person, we are not liable for the buyer falsely assuming facts or details of any item. * Virginia state sales tax is 6% and shall be charged at the end of the auction to include all your purchases. We must be notified of your tax exemption before the end of the auction to ensure we process the transaction without tax. Refunds will not be permitted for tax overpayment. if you fail to provide us with your tax exemption documents before the end of the auction. A Virginia tax form is available for download on the How To Buy page of this website. * Buyer's premium for this auction shall be 15%, and will be added to the hammer price for each item. No cash or check will be accepted as a form of payment for this auction. * Buyers have until the end of the pickup window to pick up their item(s) or confirm shipping arrangements with the auctioneer in writing. Items left more than 7 days past this pickup date without communication are considered abandoned, when they will be resold or donated. Storage fees are assessed immediately after the auction pickup window has ended. * A storage fee is placed on any lot remaining past the pickup window. The storage fee for all of our auctions is: $5.00 per lot, per day. (For example, if you leave your 1 lot for 5 days past the pickup window, the storage fee is $25). By placing a bid at our auction, you agree to this term and understand we will charge your credit card on file, without warning and at our sole discretion, weekly until your items have been retrieved, donated or otherwise removed from the auction premises. * Have plans at the time of the auction end? Use the Max Bid feature, and let the software do the work. It will bid competitively for you up to your maximum bid. If you get outbid, you'll get an email with a prompt to increase your bid. * Light bulbs used in photographs are for demonstration purposes only. They will not be included with the sale of a lot unless they are specifically tied to its particular lighting fixture. * Packing materials at pickup time are on a first come, first serve basis only. We offer them as an added benefit to the buyer, not under any required pretense. To be certain your items make it home safely, bring your own packing materials. * All sales are final. There are no returns for any reason including failure to carefully inspect all photos and descriptions. No charge backs are permitted. * We reserve the right to disallow any bidder or bidders from bidding or participating in our auctions. We view the terms of this and all of our auctions like a promise between you the bidder and us the Fair Auction Company. If a bidder breaks this promise, the likely result is the disallowing of any bids to be placed by that bidder in the future.

We will only charge your card on file at the end of the auction. Your paid invoice will be emailed to you henceforth.
USPS shipping is available on most small items. A $2.50 PER LOT NUMBER handling fee will be charged to cover packing materials and time involved. Total Shipping charges are quoted after the bidding has ended, once the buyer has (in writing) informed the auctioneer of their intent to have their items shipped to jfair@fairauctionco.com. We reserve the right to refuse shipping outside the U.S. Please inform the auctioneer immediately if you will need items shipped, and an adjusted invoice will be emailed promptly. By bidding on an item requiring shipping, you are agreeing to pay any related charge as a result, including handing. We do NOT refund items because the actual shipping was higher than expected. It is important to request a shipping quote before the auction ends to avoid any mis understanding revolving around shipping. Handling time can vary from 1 to 7 days, depending on the size, weight or shape of an item. Items needing custom boxes take longer than items fitting in standard small boxes. Freight Shipping is available for furniture items but must be quoted before the auction ends. Please allow at least 24hrs for the quoting process to complete. A $15 HANDLING FEE WILL BE APPLIED TO ALL FURNITURE BEING SHIPPED. THIS PAYS FOR PACKING MATERIALS AND TIME. We will hold items for freight shipping at no extra storage cost as long as they are picked up within 14 days. Local delivery is also available, please ask for a quote to include the following information: Street address, Stairs involved, Elevators involved, Loading Dock? Type of property i.e. apartment building, single family, town house, etc... How much parking is available for the delivery driver? Also include any special requirements such as additional moving or work needed to complete the delivery. Any damage claims must be made between you, the buyer, and the shipping carrier. We rarely have a broken item during shipping, but we purchase insurance for this potential outcome. Shipping insurance is manditory. Storage fees ($5.00 per lot per day as explained in the Terms and Conditions) may apply if you fail to communicate with the auctioneer your intent to have items shipped once the pickup window has concluded.
