Spectacular scare-filled stuff from Steve Ditko and Jim Aparo, Charlton Ghostly Tales Volume 1 issues 75, 76, 79, 80, 81 and 82 ranging from September 1969 to October 1970. All issues are superb and condition only a few faint creases to a spine area or two, excellent edges and corners, vibrant colors, VF/NM.

Magnificent. Three tremendous items here together, first, Manuscript Press Prince Valiant An American Epic Volume One 1937 by Hal Foster from 1982 first edition hand numbered 130 of only 1500 ever made, then King Features Classic Episodes In Hal Foster’s Prince Valiant In The Days Of King Arthur 1975 portfolio, then a Star Weekly Prince Valiant Newspaper 10 pages from July of 1965. All items clean and pristine, the only blemish being a minor edge dent to the bottom of the massive An American Epic close to the spine, beautiful and excellent everywhere else. The American Epic measures 22 x 17, Classic Episodes 16 x 11 and newspaper 13 x 11 with protective bagging and folder.

A whole lotta retro vintage gaming going on — Milton Bradley The Amazing Spider-Man Game from 1967, Captain America Game from 1966, two Milton Bradley Marvel Super-Heroes Junior Jigsaw Puzzles 10 1/8th x 19" with bagging, and 1976 DC Superman Colorforms Adventure Set. Some typical wear to edges and a few minor dings and rips to a flap or two, Captain America has serious wear to the surrounding box edges, flaps and come denting and creasing. All sets look to be complete, except Captain America does not include the comic.

Marvel combines with DC and it ain’t the first time or the last of course, a United States Postal Service Marvel 2007 pop-up Stamp cardboard display and four uncut unused DC Super Heroes 2005 stamp sheets, 20 39 cent stamps each for a total of 80 altogether, with descriptor backings. No blemishes to display or stamp sheets.

Wings Publishing Wings Comics number 121 from 1953, Atlas Sergeant Barney Barker number 3 from 1953, Atlas Young Men number 12 from 1951, Treasure Chest Of Fun ‘N Fact number 17 from 1946, Dell Walt Disney’s Zorro number 10 from 1960, Charlton Romantic Secrets number 42 from 1963, and Dell Publishing’s King Of The Royal Mounted number 207 from 1948. Books have typical wear for 60 or 70-year-old issues, a big chip and some folded tips to the bottom right corner of Zorro, some creasing where to its cover, both King Of The Royal and Romantic have detatched centerfolds are are barely attached at cover by top staple, some chipping to the bottom corners of treasure chest, young men, Sergeant Barney Barker and wings remain relatively nice with good covers with minor moments of wear two tiny pen markings, concise clean, off-white, inner pages.

En Sabah Nur emerges, and the mutie universe was never quite the same! Easily one of the biggest mutant villains of the past three decades, the first appearance of Apocalypse happens in this gem landmark — Marvel X-Factor Volume 1 issue number 6 from July of 1986. Beautiful clean and vibrant cover, OW/W concise inners, spotless back cover.

Gore galore, fright fans… Studio and distributor exclusives aplenty — dozens and dozens of distributor and seller exclusive advertising materials for mostly 1980’s/1990’s horror, including several pamphlets, one-sheets, folders, mini cards, and other various advertising materials, plus fifteen (15) total posters, most are theatrical sized, a few are smaller, many many titles such as Jaws The Revenge, Monkey Shines, Curse II The Bite, Forever Evil, Witchtrap, The Hidden, Stepfather, Nightflyers, Redneck Zombies, Deadtime Stories, The Believers, Witchcraft, Dance Of The Damned, and Dracula’s Widow. All posters have fold creases from folded storage but remain clean, shiny and sharp, only some tape to backing and edges of Jaws Revenge, all other promo materials without wear.

Kirby/Lee/Coletta glory as the gargantuan enchanted indestructible suit of Odin armor begins with this epic, the first appearance of The Destroyer in Marvel’s Journey Into Mystery Volume 1 issue number 118 from July of 1965, "To Kill A Thunder God." Some slight creasing to spine and one faded one to bottom right corner plus a tiny pen marking to corner box, clean and superb cream colored frontispiece and backing.

Katar-Hol and the jungle journeyer Tarzan together in a tremendous six issue lot, DC Tarzan Volume 1 issues 221, 222 and 225, then DC Showcase numbers 101, 102, and 103, grouping of Kubert gems from 1973 and 1978. All issues are from a fantastically stored collection, very well taken care of, VF/NM’s, not a speck of damage to the beautiful covers and fabulous inner pages.

The Brave bandit chieftain of the Wild West, Avon Periodicals Jesse James Volume 1 issues 16, 22 and 24 from January, May and October of 1954, featuring saddle and spur sensational artwork from John Forte, Mort Lawrence, Paul Reinman and other greats. All three issue tautly bagged with double boards, mostly great copies, issue 16 has a chip to top right on cover, a pencil marking to title on issue 22, otherwise minor spine creasing and minor moments of browning or wear.

Some Marvel, DC, Star Wars, Star Trek, Simpsons, Pokémon a diverse cute selection of ten t-shirts mostly Gildan one Hanes, all XL, all very clean and look rarely worn if at all, then 5 baseball caps snapbacks with Rocket Raccoon, Deadpool, Harley Quinn, Ryu from Street Fighter, and Pokémon Squirtle, also clean and like-new.

Vanguard Productions Wally Wood Jungle Adventures With Jim King and Animan sealed hardcover from August of 2016 with over 150 pages, then Fantagraphics Books Best Of Witzend first edition from December of 2018. Both books like new and pristine.

A fountain of "The King’s" passion project creation, a total of issues with two huge VF/NM stacks — DC Kamandi Volume 1 issues 6 through 45 with doubles of issue 25, 26 and 30, but skips over issue 44 (no issue 44), 42 total issues from June of 1973 into 1976, and of course including Joe Kubert and Ernie Chan covers when they stepped in to add their tremendous touch to assist Kirby’s work. All issues beautiful, sharp, clean, VF/NM copies.

Way way before Melissa Joan Hart there was the awesome and fun series that inspired it — Archie Series Sabrina The Teenage Witch Volume 1 beginning with issue 31 from May of 1976, issue 33, 34, 35, 39, 42, 45, 46, 47, 48, and finally issue 50 from December of 1978. Only a few faint moments of minimal print rubbing or the slightest browning browning as these remain terrific VF copies, one pencil marking to the top left corner of issue 39, but everywhere is excellent with this grouping.

A treasure trove including a Castle Defender 1970’s original Black Light Poster (AA Sales Incorporated, Seattle), two Spider-Man 1981 puffy stickers packaged and unopened, three Marvel 2007 Chronicle Books mini notepads (Fantastic Four, X-men and Spider-Man), one miniature Hallmark peanuts playing cards set, and finally twelve Lancer Books 1960’s mini comic novels including two copies of Fantastic Four Collector’s Album, two copies of The Amazing Spider-Man Collector’s Album, two copies of The Mighty Thor The Collector’s Album, The Fantastic Four Collector’s Album, two copies of The Incredible Hulk The Collector’s Album, Green Lantern and Green Arrow #1, Here Comes Daredevil Mighty Marvel Collector’s Album, and Batman from Signet Books 1966. All mini comic novels in nice clean shape, a few very faint possible creases, one copy of ASM has some taping to its spine, a few faint tiny spots of wear to the poster, and two or three pages to the notepads have some pen writing.

Some slight yellowing to a few bubbles, but all very nice only some minor wear to a few of the cards, seven TY 1999/2000 Beanie Babies including Lefty The Donkey, Righty The Elephant, Libearty The Bear, Maple, Glory, Britannia, and Erin representing Canada, America, England, and Ireland respectively, the top three (political beanies) have a crease down the center and Libearty has some slight yellowing on bubble, good edges otherwise, good backings.

Logan Dog snikt’ing here in a spectacular lot, 23 total issues of the character forming and fan favorite establishing Volume 2, beginning with the iconic issue 1, then issues 2, 3, 4, doubles of issue 5, issue 16, 19, 35, 36, 37, 39, 48, 49, the weapon X file 50th issue, 77, 78, 81, 86, the first ever Deadpool/Wolverine fight feature issue 88, 89, with doubles for that Adam Kubert cover, and finally issue 107. Most copies fine if not very fine. Very very little blemishes or damages. Excellent covers.

A tremendous treasure total of twenty (20) issues, Ben Grimm and company begin with the first two King-Size Annuals number 1 and 2 from 1976 and 1977, then of the first Volume issues 2, 3, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, issue 51, 59, 60, 61, 62, 63, 64, 65, and finally issue 66. All issues easy Fine+/VF copies, clean and awesome in shape, great corners, covers, inners.

Who can mistake this landmark Andy Kubert cover, the first appearance of Remy LeBeau aka Channing Tatum aka Gambit here in all its glory for Marvel Uncanny X-men Volume 1 issue number 266 from August of 1980, "Out Of The Frying Pan," and yes, I’m aware it isn’t technically the first appearance of Gambit; the first extremely brief cameo was in X-men Annual 14, but it’s his first full and first cover and widely regarded as the first. In any case, it’s a gem — two condition issues: some slight creasing wear to the spine and staples, and the white sharp back cover has some crease dents to top corners, concise clean sharp inner pages, great colors.

A majority of the mutant gang is here, there is some missing weapons but all figures mostly complete, beginning with Kylun on card (some slight damage to bubble and a scuff to card on front), then Magneto, Shatterstar, Nightcrawler, Archangel, Sabretooth, Juggernaut, Apocalypse, Cyclops, both Wolverines, Cable and Stryfe. Cyclops visor still lights up, archangels wings are intact with top rockets, one of the tubes to apocalypse is a little loose but still fits in groove, Wolvie’s claws work as does Sabre’s chest plate.

These were sales manager distributor only exclusive promotional kits, luckily one is opened so we have a relative idea of what they include as they sure aren’t common — Gene Hackman in The Package, The Lord Of The Flies and Kirstie Alley and John Larroquette in Madhouse. Included within is surely a poster, folder, pages and promo materials, the Package is opened and includes all that and a cardboard standie, plus more. Slight wear to the edges and corners a bit on the envelopes from storage.

Byrne, Simonson, Kirby, Perez, Milgrom, Sienkiewicz… Marvel’s first family and official title here in a staggering and smashing grouping, an entire short box full of Fantastic Four Volume 1, plus three trade paperbacks Fantastic Four 1234 first printing, 2002, Fantastic Four Visionaries first printing 2006, Ultimate Fantastic Four Doom first printing 2004. Then the box, Including issues: 106, 107, 108, 109, 111, 113, 115 through issue 119, 121 through 128, issue 130 All the way through issue 176, 178 All the way a straight run through issue 225, a total of 114 issues. All of these copies are very clean, superb, sharp issues, VF/F.

Liefeld’s vicious team headed by Cable grouped here with nine (9) sealed and unopened ploybagged copies of Marvel’s X-Force number 1 from August of 1991, the first appearance of G.W. Bridge and the beginning of the team, of course every copy was sealed with trading cards included and Deadpool card is included here (see photos). VF/NM, unopened, untouched.

A saddle, spur and six shooter treasure reaching all the way back to February of 1947 going onto April of 1955 — Dell Publishing’s Red Ryder Comics Volume 1 issues 43, 52, 59, 75, 88, 103, 119, 126, 130, 136, and issue 141, beautiful painted plus photo covers and Fred Harman artwork to dazzle and delight any cowpoke, some very nice copies here and not just because of their age either. Some slight spine, creasing and slight nibbing to the bottom of a few spines, beautiful vibrant colors on covers and backing, a very faint and faded stamp near the title on issue 103, a faded crease down the center of issue 119, which is very nice, Issue 130 has a spine tear up the bottom and blank back cover and frontispiece.

"Will The Gods Return Some Day?" A question only The King Kirby can answer with his extraordinary creation, the first appearance of the team way way before the recent feature film, origin of the team, first ever Deviants, first Ikaris, Vira, Dr. and Margo Damian plus a whole lot more with this tremendous, triumphant run — Marvels The Eternals Volume 1 issues 1 through 19, the complete series run together from July of 1976 to January of 1978. All issues VF, only even minor blemish is a faded pen marking to title of issue 1, a few issues (like the Hulk features issues 14 and 15) are dangerously close to NM.

All minty and pristine, shrink wrapped and sealed: DC Archive Editions Batman The Dark Knight Volume 1, Batman The Dynamic Duo Volume 1, The Robin Volume 2, and The Golden Age Star,an Volume 2. Beautiful DC tomes, there is one puncture to top center edge of Starman.

Four battle tales total for this terrific beginning, Sam Glanzman imagery inside for Dell Publishing Combat Volume 2 issue 1 from November of 1961. Some slight spine creasing and a few tiny chips to right edge on cover.

So much time I spent on one of these. Nintendo Gameboy with ten cartridges in cases, one spare case, the owner’s manual and five instruction booklets, plus 1990 Vik Tokai Lightboy and ext. connector chord, no power chord included. The games are NBA All-Star Challenge 1 and 2, Final Fantasy Legend, Final Fantasy Legend II, Super Mario Land, Tetris, Mario Baseball, TMNT Fall Of The Foot Clan, Fist Of The North Star, and Revenge Of The Gator. Lightboy and Gameboy untested. Gameboy is missing the the gray screen face plate and has some residue from it. Actual black case is Nuby Manufacturing Company.

All of these you’re going to see are from a beautiful and cherished family collection from New Jersey, and all of them pristine, amazing shape, and stored spectacularly with tissue paper dividing and board, labeled and cataloged and stored and hardly ever touched, broken down by decade or character for simplicity sake. Archie, Jughead, Betty, Veronica and the whole crew here in a giant way, quite literally, Archie Giant Series Archie’s Pals ‘n’ Gals issues 70 through 83 but skipping over issue 78, a total of 13 issues from 1972 to 1974. All Archie comics in this auction are from a pristine box wherein all copies are superb, sharp and practically spotless, very pretty covers.

Gerry Conway, Roy Thomas, Jim Starlin, Frank Brunner, Steve Gerber and Rich Buckler’s muck monster arises here astonishingly with eight total items — Marvel Adventure Into Fear Volume 1 issues 12 through 17 with doubles of issue 17, then a glorious and gorgeous Marvel Man-Thing The Complete Collection TPB first printing 2015. All issues and trade are amazing, clean and like-new. Lovely Brunner imagery.

How about this for a wicked lush and lovely Logan lot, Marvel Wolverine Volume 2 issue number 1 (the Byrne cover), number 8 (the iconic Buscema image), number 27 (the legendary Jim Lee cover), Marvel Comics Presents number 74 (the classic BWS cover that encapsulates the Weapon X saga so well), Wolverine Minus 1, Wolverine number 50 and Wolverine Killing one-shot first printing from September of 1993. All issues excellent and sharp, a few very faint dings to frontispiece and backing on issue 1.

Adam Strange thrillers but quadrupled — DC Mystery In Space Volume 1 issues 71 with doubles of this issue, issue 83 and 86, November of 1961 to September of 1963, marvelous Murphy Anderson covers. Some typical spine creasing, a few slight surface scuffs to issue 83, issue 86 is quite delightful, presents extremely well, one of the copies of 71 is nicer, sharper and cleaner, the other some print rubbing and foxing, browning within, plus serious stabbing to its backing.

All that’s missing, quite Frankly (see what I did there?) is issues 1 and 2 to complete this series of monstrous magnificence — Marvel Frankenstein Volume 1 issues 3, 4 (X2), 5 (X3), 6 (X2), then a straight shot of issues 7 through the finale 18 but with doubles of issue 7, it’s alive! May of 1973 to September of 1975, of course featuring the Dracula epic for issue 8 (their first meeting) and the the death of Drac for the following issue. All 21 issues very terrific with clean conditions, possible faint spine creasing moment or two.

"Vengeance Of The Thunder God," "Into The Blaze Of Battle,? and “In My Hand…This Hammer? — Marvel Journey Into Mystery Volume 1 issues 115, 117, and 120 from April, June and September of 1965, the second ever Absorbing Man and Enchantress and early Kirby/Lee/Colletta Thunder God glory. Nice copies really, minor spine wear and creasing, a very faint and tiny date stamp to title on 120 and a few scattered creases to it plus a chipped bottom corner tip, some browning within and loose top staple to frontispiece but bottom is intact and to all inners, 115 and 117 remain quite delightful, concise inners and nice back covers.

The Asgardian Avenger in an absolute astounding and astonishing grouping of Mjölnir might — Marvel Thor (The Mighty) Volume 1 with 28 issues some definite Keys, issue 129, 130, 131, 132, 136, 143, 145, 146, 164, 170, 179, 189, 190, 191, 192, 194, 206, 213, 222, 223, 225, 228, 232, 245, 257, 261, 262, and finally issue 276. The first Silver Age Ares, first Cerberus, first Crusher, first actual cameo Ego The Ego The Living Planet, first Lurking Unknown and Enchanters, Origin of The Inhumans, third Adam Warlock and first Athena, the first appearance of Firelord and tons more. Issues range from VG+ to a few that are VF, many hover around Fine- if not better, issue 222 has a large chunk of bottom cover missing and issue 225 about a 2 inch spine slit to the bottom, some slight spine creasings, a few minimal dings, a few copies with a pen marking or two, a few with some slight scuffs and nubbing. Two spectacular western series together, one of whom (the earlier one of course) would spawn the original Ghost Rider via Calico Kid and Rex Fury — Magazine Enterprises Tim Holt number 5 and 9 from March and September of 1949, issue 9 featuring the Map of The Home Range section, then Marvel’s cowboy hat toss into the foray with The Outlaw Kid Volume 2 issues 8, 9, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, and 25, John Severin, Herb Trimpe covers and fellow greats. All issues sensational and sharp except for the Tim Holt which have typical wear for 70 year old issues, some slight chipping to perimeter on cover for issue 5, one tiny pen marking to corner box for Outlaw Kid #21.

The courageous Carol Danvers here with an epic lotting, Ms.Marvel Volume 1 issues 2, 6 through 15, then issues 17, 19, 21, 22, and 23 1976 to 1979, and including a few keys for the series such as the Origin of Ms.Marvel, first Agent 17, second ever Raven Darkholme (later to become Mystique), the finale of the series and more with Cockrum/Sinnott/Austin covers galore. All copies absolutely excellent with straight edges and corners.

Beautiful and epic stuff collected from Golden Age legends Kirby, Ditko, Heath, Romita, Colon, Ayers, Buscema and so much more — four shrink wrapped and sealed Marvel Masterworks the first three of them Atlas Era, Marvel Masterworks Volume 85 Strange Tales, Volume 94 Tales To Astonish, Volume 106 Journey Into Mystery, and Volume 103 The Fantastic Four. A slight perforation to plastic for bottom right corner of Strange Tales, everywhere else taut and clean.

A brutal and barbaric bludgeoning of Bruce Banner books, you could safely say it’s a smash. A short box full of Incredible Hulk Volume 1, two Treasurys, a one-shot, tons of green Goliath goodness, a great 80% or so of the box has doubles as well. Marvel Incredible Hulk Volume 1 issues 199 through 227, issue 229 through 233, 235 through 254, 256, 257, 258, 259, issue 377, the Dale Keown The End one-shot, and finally March 2002 John Romita Jr’s iconic cover for issue 38. These issues have doubles = 199, 200, 210, 212, 213, 214, 215, 216, 217, 218, 219, 220, 221, 222, 223, 224, 225, 226, 227, 229, 230, 231, 232, 238, 240, 241, 242, 243, and issue 246. A total of 90 issues and with the two treasury’s (numbers 9 and 25 from 1976 and 1978) a total of 92 items together. A small pen marking to corner box for Treasury 9, hardly any other damages or blemishes, beautiful copies mostly with clean covers and spines.

From March of 1981 to July of 1982, Denny O’Neil, Mike Esposito, Bill Sienkiewicz, Don Perlin and many more handle Johnny Blaze, Marvel Ghost Rider Volume 2 17 total issues, number 54 all the way a straight shot to 70. All very superb and sensational clean copies, clean covers spines and inners.

Vintage Flashy Flickers Picture Gun and 1967 Kenner easy show movie Projector both with accompanying items. A fabulous Flashy Flickers Picture Gun and a Kenner Easy Show Movie Projector, both vintage items from the late 1960s. The Flashy Flickers Picture Gun is a classic toy that projects pictures, while the Easy Show Movie Projector allows you to play movie reels, offering a glimpse into past entertainment technology. Both items come in their original packaging, which shows some signs of wear consistent with their age. Seven exciting western adventures, Dell Bat Masterson number 8, Maverick number 14, Cheyenne numbers 13 and 21, Wyatt Earp number 13, Have Gun, Will Travel number 7, and The Rifleman number 10, all issues from 1960 and 1961, all mostly Fine/Fine+ copies with minimal spine wear, brief of at all creasing, clean vibrant covers mostly.

All of these you’re going to see are from a beautiful and cherished family collection from New Jersey, and all of them pristine, amazing shape, and stored spectacularly with tissue paper dividing and board, labeled, cataloged and stored and hardly ever touched, broken down by decade or character for simplicity sake. An entire box full of Hal Foster Prince Valiant 1954, 1955, and 1956 newspaper pages from King Features, this includes a grand total of roughly 211 pages that measure 21 1/2 x 14", stored and preserved spectacularly, straight sharp edges and corners, beautiful vibrant colors, hardly any wear whatsoever. Of note: this particular lot, the pages are not loose, they are attached to the three ring binder portfolio dividers via a glue like substance; they can be detatched but the divider serves as a frame of sorts to keep them fastened and organized. See the great many photos provided, truly sensational Foster artwork.

Gorgeous Murphy Anderson and Mike Sekowski cover works for these fabulous four, DC Justice League Of America Volume 1 issues 40, 41, 46 and 83, November of 1965 to September of 1970, the first appearance of the Anti-Matter Man, first Silver Age appearance of the Golden Age Sandman, early Solomon Grundy and much more. Some spine creasing, issue 83 remains very nice with only very minor moments of wear, some chipping and dings to issue 41, wear around the staples and nubbing to bottom corner for issue 40, mostly good inner pages and back covers.

Dell Publishing delights, Rin Tin Tin Volume 1 numbers 9, 17 and 22 from August of 1955 and January, December of 1957, then get your gun with Annie Oakley and Tagg numbers 7 and 9 from April and October of 1956. Annie number 7 has some wear to the bottom and creasing to its spine, issue 9 is quite nice except for a chunk to the bottom of intro page, the Rin Tin Tin’s are outstanding in condition, easy Fine+ if not VF copies, clean covers mostly, concise OW inner pages, nice frontispieces and backings with only blemishes being a torn tip to bottom of issue 17 and some pen signatures to frontispieces.

Industry modern comic giants Grant Morrison and Steve Yeowell behind the pages for this proper excellent series, four fabulous hardcovers from 2000AD and Rebellion Zenith Phase (Volumes) 1, 2. 3 and 4, from 2014 and 2015 all first printings and all superb and awesome like-new in condition except for two spots to the top edge of backings on Phase 3 and 4.

The Caped Crusader and The Man Of Steel team up with many fellow members of the JLA and DC roster, a staggering amount of DC dynamite with this 31 issue grouping — World’s Finest Comics Volume 1 issues 163, 183, 200, doubles of issue 201, 202 with doubles, 203, 204 with doubles, 205 with doubles, 207, 208, 209 with doubles, issue 210, 212, 213, 214, 217, 218, 219, 230, 245, 246, 247, 248, 249, 250, and issue 251, the last 10 or so issues being the giant 80 page Double sized issues. There is a chip to top edge of 245, slight nubbing to a corner tip or two, minimal moments of wear, but mostly very very nice copies, clean vivid covers, some labeled VF or Fine. Some spectacular Neal Adams, Steve Ditko, Dick Giordano cover work.

Dan DeCarlo’s delightful and numerous takes, Archie Giant Series Archie’s Jokes number 459, 471, 483, and 495, then Archie Laugh numbers 277, 278, 280, 281, 282, 283, 284, 285, 286, 287, 291, 292, 293, 294, and 295, then Archie Mad House Comics number 103, 108 and 110. Outstanding and sharp copies from a clean and organized short box, delightful conditions with very little moments of wear, one tiny faded pen marking near the corner box of issue 277.

The web-thwip’ing wall-crawler meets his match many many many times over with this fountain of fantastic— one short box full of Marvel Team-Up Volume 1 issues are almost a straight consecutive shot from number 5 to issue 100, but skipping over issues 15, 53, 65 and 96 (those four issues are not included, not present), but with doubles of the Frank Miller 100th issue epic. A majority of issues like 5, 7, 8 and many more are easy VF/NM’s or very close, issues 9 and 10 have a brief ink staining near corner box, issue 42 one very tiny inking near center of top edge, minor moments of crease wear to a few issues, but mostly marvelous copies.

"Seeeegggggaaaaaaaa." You can practically hear the start-up sound. Here we have a blast from the past with Sega Genesis 16 Bit system with power and RF chords plus four controllers (one is a third party controller), for some reason there’s a Sony PlayStation controller as well, 10 game cartridges with cases and instruction booklets included for most if not all. Untested, but previous owner stated it does work. Some dust and dirt to the PlayStation controller. The Lion King case is folded. Games are NHL Hockey 93, Tecmo Super Bowl, Aladdin, X-men, Sonic The Hedgehog, NHL 95, NBA Jam Tournament Edition, Bulls / Blazers NBA Playoffs, NHL 96, the Lion King, and Clue.

ANC Famous Funnies number 197 December 1951, ACG Ha Ha Comics number 71 from May of 1950, Archie Wilbur number 88 September of 1963, Charlton Beetle Bailey number 73 from January of 1970, Dell Little Beaver number 5 from June of 1952, EC Tiny Tot Comics number 9 from 1947, Famous Funnies Jingle Jangle number 33 from June of 1948, DC Real Screen Comics 113 from 1957, Dell Pogo Possum number 2 1950, and Dell Popeye numbers 15 and 16 from 1951. Typical wear for books this age, slight warping and creasing to spine for Famous Funnies, Ha Ha is very worn with chipping to spine and perimeter and cover is barely attached via the top staple, some slight print rubbing to perimeter of Wilber, Beetle Bailey and Little Beaver are quite nice, Tiny Tot with minor print rubbing and creases to bottom right corner, chips to bottom corners of Jingle, a tiny hole and both Popeyes are very nice with clean frontispieces and inner pages.

The savior and surveyor of Atlantis here with fifteen fabulous aquatic actions — Marvel Sub-Mariner Volume 1 issues 16, 19, 21, 24, 25, 27 (with doubles of this issue), 31, 37, 38, 39, 46, 47, 57 and 61, the special Origin issue, the Doctor Doom battle, first and second appearance of Stingray, first Commander Kraken, first Bronze Age Venus and much more. Mostly Fine+ copies and a few even nicer, slight print rubbing moments to a few backings, minimal spine creasing, a faint ding or two perhaps, but very nice copies.

21 in total, Marvel: 1990 Doctor Octopus, Hulk, Punisher, Spidey, Green Goblin, Silver Surfer, Daredevil, Doctor Doom, Captain America, and Gambit. For some reason there’s also a 1986 Kenner Robocop Orion Police Unit Figure. DC: 1989-90 Lex Luthor, Penguin, Supes, Joker, Flash, Batman, and Riddler. Star Wars:1979 Taun Taun with back compartment, and 1995 Kenner Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader. Then a dozen or so pieces of mish-mash random accessories that do not go to anything in this lot, guns, arms, weapons. A few figures have broken pieces::Gambit’s staff arm has separated by looks as if it can be reattached, Doc Ock’s left tendrils are detached, Riddler’s head is detached, and Superman’s left leg/thigh plate is detached and open. Doom, Hulk, and Punisher’s back action feature still work.

Jack Sparling and Wallace Wood covers, two of the three issues to this miniseries — Harvey Thriller Unearthly Spectaculars numbers 1 and 2, issue 2 the Giant-Size, from October of 1965 and December of 1966, Otto Binder, Gil Kane, Al Williamson and other greats work showcasing Jack Frost, Tiger Boy, Miracles Inc and more. Both delightful Fine+ copies, great vibrant colors and corners, only some minor spine creasing and one tiny rip to issue 2 toward bottom center edge, concise clean inner pages and back covers.

Captivating Curt Swan covers as usual for the DC maestro, Superboy Volume 1 issues 87, 102, 103, 119, 131 and 142, a Super span of March of 1961 to October of 1967, Superbaby, Krypto and even The Black Knight make appearances. A tiny pen marking near the corner box of issue 142, some typical spine creasing and a few minor spots of print rubbing and nubbing, issue 102 is attached to the cover via only a single strand near the top staple, but mostly great copies, nice concise inner pages and mostly clean frontispieces.

Fantasy’s fighting female fiery violent vixen showcased here with eighteen (18) early examples — Marvel Feature Volume 2 numbers 2, 4, 5, 6 and 7 with the gorgeous Frank Thorne covers and then continues to her first self-titled series Red Sonja Volume 1 issues 3 all the way continuously through issue 15, the final issues of this run when Frank Brunner stepped in for fabulous cover work, only issues 1 and 2 are missing to complete this first Volume. The biggest blemish within this lot is a rip to the top right edge of issue 7 of Feature, a pen marking on the corner box of issue 6 of Sonja, a chip to top right corner of issue 3, slight nubbing to the top left corner of Feature #5, but the majority of these are pretty VF/F copies, hardly any spine creasing or dings to covers, clean and vibrant.

Natasha and Medusa, from the Cold War to the Great Refuge, twenty four items (24) including Marvel Amazing Adventures Volume 1 issues 2, 3, 4, 5 (x2), 6 (x2), 7 (x2), 8 (x3), and issue 10, Neal Adams, Gerry Conway, Don Heck and so many other greats collaborating on that series with many minor firsts such as first and second ever The Astrologer, first Roman Wilson, etc from September of 1970:59 January of 1972, then The Inhumans Volume 1 issues 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, Al Milgrom and Doug Moench, missing issues 1 and 2 but otherwise this would be the entire run of their first Volume, then Marvel Knights Black Widow TPB first printing July 2001. A few super tiny bits of wear to an edge area or two of the TPB, a few of the issues in the Inhumans were sticker labeled VF, but the majority of them are as nice, similarly for Amazing Adventures, only a few faint or brief spot of edge or corner wear to a spot or two, issue 10 with some slight spine creasing.

These were video store and distributor promotional displays, there is four of them but one requires assembly with 3 separate parts — Touchstone’s Meg Ryan and Dennis Quaid in DOA, this is a huge life-size more than five foot tall one piece with back stand that folds in half; 1986 HBO Orion Platoon 2- foot tall display with promo foldout poster sheet, Russkies and Made In Heaven cardboard display that is around 4 feet tall or so, the bottom piece attaches and the two films connect to make a sandwich board style display, and finally a still sealed and never opened 1995 Universal Babe display. All intact and unused, a few minor moments of wear to an edge area or two.

The haunting Judas Iscariot through realms and realities, DC The Phantom Stranger Volume 2 with 25 total issues, a huge run with some absolutely diabolical and dazzling covers from Jim Aparo, Neal Adams and other giants: Numbers 6, 8, 9, 11, 12 (x2), 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30, 31, 32 (x2), 33, 34, 35, 36 (x2), 37, 38, 39, 40 and 41, a spectral time span of April of 1970 to March of 1976 and with a few appearances by Deadman, this is more than a third of the Volume as it ended on issue 41, with issue 42 coming decades later. A small chip to the bottom corner of issue 25, super brief spots of spine creasing, but these are a delightful grouping, Fine+ while most range better, clean vivid covers with great edges, concise inners

Some true battle beauties here with more than a handful of glorious Joe Kubert work: Flashback number 22 the reprinting of All-Star Comics number 1 from 1940, Super Comics U.S. Fightingmen number 18 from 1964, DC Our Army At War numbers 228 and 234 from February of 1971 and July of 1974, DC Blitzkrieg number 4 August of 1976, and Weird War Tales 58 and 94 from December of 1977 and December of 1980 the Hitler and the dinosaur "War That Time Forgot" covers. All Star reprint is VF/NM, pristine practically, Fightingmen has a tiny rip to bottom edge and some minor browning and wear to perimeter, the other 4 issues are spectacular with only minimal spine creasing.

A hint of the supernatural and a gigantic dose of the haunting humor with this giant lot of Barnabas Collins and Angelique Bouchard — Gold Key Dark Shadows Volume 2 numbers 2, 4, 5, 8, 9, 11, 13, 15, 23, 24 (x2 doubles of this issue), 26 (x3 triples of this issue), 27, 28, 29, 30, 31, 32, and 33, August of 1969 to August of 1975, a total of 18 copies, of course including the second appearance of Barnabas, Joe Certa inner art and a huge chunk of this series. Issue 2 is delightful, hardly any wear or creasing to cover, issues 3, 5, 13 and one copy of the 24’s with some varying spine creasing, but mostly marvelous copies.

Some glorious imagery from the incredible titan behind Dark Victory and The Long Halloween, Tim Sale creates the covers for Greg Rucka with Oni Press’ Queen & Country The Definitive Edition Volumes 1 through 4 first editions from 2007, 2008 and 2009, ominous manga sized books, plus Active Images Tim Sale’s Heroes, Villains and Babes sketchbook from 2008, finally also a still-sealed Oni Press Queen & Country Operation: Broken Ground hardcover initial order edition still shrink wrapped. All six items fabulous and clean, a super faint tiny bit of nubbing to bottom of spine for sketchbook.

Helming from the dangerous realm of the legendary writer H.G. Wells, industry gods Neal Adams, Jim Starlin, Roy Thomas, Mike Esposito and others here for the first appearance and origin of Killraven, plus a staggering run of consecutive War Of The Worlds tales — Marvel Amazing Adventures Volume 2 issues 18 through 39, 22 issues in total from May of 1973 to November of 1976 the end of the series. Issue 18 is an easy Fine+/VF as are most of these issues, spectacular copies, only the briefest nubbing to the top corner for issues 35, 31 and 20.

What a glorious bunch of beautiful books, beginning with Kitchen Sink Will Eisner Hawks Of The Sea 1986, Titan Books Johnny Red Falcon’s First Flight first edition January 2011 with foreword by the great Garth Ennis, Fantagraphics Prince Valiant Volume 18 1971-1972 from 2018, Chelsea House and National Newspaper Syndicate The Collected Works Of Buck Rogers In The 25th Century second printing January 1970, then three dazzling Russ Cochran EC hardcovers from 1988 Aces High, Valor and Piracy. With Buck Rogers: the paging has loosened from the binding (pictured), a minor ding to the back bottom corner of dust jacket for Johnny Red, the Eisner treasury remains beautiful with superb white pages, the rest of these books are beautiful as well. These are very big, measuring 11 x 14 or larger.

Showcasing some of the most stupendous artists in all of comic-dom, beginning with Steve Ditko and Gil Kane for DC Hawk And Dove Volume 1 issues 1 and 2, then Marvel War Is Hell number 6 and 10 1973-74 which houses the second appearance of Death and covers by Herb Trimpe/Romita/Dick Ayers, Charlton Konga number 8 from 1962 with Ditko cover, Marvel Conan The Barbarian number 37 with Neal Adams cover and first work on title and first appearance of Juma The Black and Princess Yolinda, Marvel New Mutants Annual number 5 from 1989 the first Rob Liefeld New Mutants work, Charlton The Phantom 36 with Ditko art from February 1970 and Jim Aparo cover, finally DC World’s Finest Comics number 285 from November of 1982 with Frank Miller Supes/Batman cover. The majority of these are double bagged and boarded and labeled to the backs of boards, a particularly clean and very well kept collection, most are Fine+ if not better copies, only the Hawk and Dove’s have slight wear around the perimeters and spine creasing, also the Phantom with a tiny pen marking near corner box and some brief creasing wear, all else excellent.

Eastman and Laird’s now household name creation up from the sewers and searching for pizza and the Foot Clan — Mirage Studios Leonardo One-shot from 1986, then Archie Adventure Series Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Adventures Volume 2 issues 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 16 and 17, a cowabunga time span of March of 1989 to February of 1991, Eastman and Laird themselves did the cover work for issue 3, issue 5 is the first appearance of Man Ray, first Cherabae, and first Ace Duck as well. The Leonardo One-shot has a smudge to top left corner on cover and a scuff to back cover, perimeter creasing as well, all other issues have minor spine creasing and a possible faded brief dent or two, but mostly great copies with clean covers. Many of the later issues have a small Kay-Bee Toy Store sticker to the top left of the frontispiece.

Harvey Thriller Spyman Volume 1 number 3 from February of 1967 with Joe Simon and Otto Binder wondrous work, and two copies of Gold Key G-8 And His Battle Aces One-Shot from October of 1966 with art by George Evans and story via Leo Dorfman. One of the copies of G-8 is a Fine and nicer than the other copy but both have all three issues hav clean and white frontispieces and concise even inner pages, nice back covers, the second copy of G-8 has pen marking to the top edge and both with some varying spine creasing, one faint lone faded crease horizontally on Spyman cover, faint edge wear to bottom.

Fawcett Publications Real Western Hero numbers 72, 103 and 108 from November of 1948, June and November of 1951, then the goofy galavanting Gabby Hayes shows up for Monte Hale Western number 38, 53, 77, 81 and 85 with a dust covered cowpoke time span of July of 1949 to June of 1955. As you can see, clean and nice frontispieces and inner pages, one of the backings to Western Hero with some staining, also around the staples for issue 72, some brief spine creasing and to the bottom corner of issue 77.

Lev Gleason Black Diamond Western number 31 1951, Fawcett Motion Picture Comics number 104 from 1951 with Vigilante Hideout Allan Rocky Lane cover, Lev Gleason Desperado Volume 1 issue 6 from 1948, True Comics number 59 from April of 1947, Magazine Enterprises Best Of The West 7 from March of 1953, Dell Buck Jones number 5 from March of 1952, Fawcett Lash Larue 32 from September of 1952, Charlton Tex Ritter Western June of 1955, Dell Wild Bill Elliott 16 from March of 1955, and finally Charlton Wild Bill Hickok and Jangles number 69 from October of 1958. The wild Bill Elliott issue is a VF/NM, dazzling copy, some typical spine and perimeter wear and creasing, Tex Ritter has some tape to the frontispiece because of a cover tear to the right edge and some marking to back cover, some wear around staples, mostly clean and even inner pages, nice frontispieces otherwise, some nubbing to Motion Picture bottom corner, some wear to the top of spine for Best Of The West, a stain to the bottom of frontispiece for Desperado and a scuff to bottom of intro page.

Both looking clean and not touched very much at all, 1995 Sega Genesis Nomad 16 bit handheld gaming system which requires 6 AA batteries that aren’t included but luckily there’s a Sega Nomad AC Adapter that is, both boxed and clean, plus Sega Genesis Nomad instructions. Untested but said to work just fine.

It all begins with "Giant From Planet X," Gold Key Magnus Robot Fighter Volume 1 issue number 3 from August of 1963 with radical Russ Manning cover and inner imagery, then continues on with cybernetic dystopian smashings issues 6, 11, 12 (x2), 13, 20, 21, 23, 29, 30, 31 (x2), 32, 35, 38, 41, 42, 44 and 45, then as if that wasn’t enough, the first four issues to Valiant’s acquire Magnus Robot Fighter Volume 2 with Bob Layton covers. Those issues remain VF/NM, as are a few of the Volume 1’s in particular issue 12 (the first copy), 11, 29, 31, 32, 41 and 44, minor spine creasing and wear otherwise, brief faint nubbing to top of spine for issue 3, take a look at these marvelous Magnus’s! Someone self-graded issues 3 and 6 but I feel they were being very strict, they are terrific and present very nice.

An outstanding onslaught of Odinson as here the Asgardian Avenger mightily presents — Marvel Thor Volume 1 issues 184, 194 (x2 double), 196, 205, 207, 208, 209, 210, 211, 212 (x2), 213, 214, 216, 217, 218, 220, 221, 227, 231, 242, 246, 249 and finally the King-Size Annual number 6 from 1977, 26 issues total, the first appearance of The Minions of Menace and origin of Korvac in the Annual, first Silent One, tons of thunderous other happenings. A stamping on cover for issue 208 and near the corner box for issue 205, writing to corner box for issue 220, hardly any spine or perimeter wear on covers, Fine+ copies whilst some are better, vibrant colors and awesome corners mostly.

From 1940 via King Features, the legendary Hal Foster with another proper and amazing collection of Prince Valiant newspaper pages from the Sunday's America’s Greatest, roughly 30 pages from January 7, 1940 all the way to December 29, 1940. Various funnies and American Sunday delights to the backs such as Family Portraits, Tim Tyler’s Luck and much more. Photos of each page included of course, all the Prince Valiant newspaper pages in this auction remain from a fabulous and preserved collection, tissue paper dividing and most pages in very grey conditions, excellent edges and corners, beautiful and vivid coloring.

DC dynamite with the world’s strangest and oddest heroes, Doom Patrol Volume 1 issues 110, 112, 119, 122, 123 and 124, mid to late 1960’s, then DC Showcase numbers 95 and 96, The Doom Patrol Volume 2 issues 1- 5 and then finally DC Secret Origins Annual number 1 from 1987 the origins of both DP teams told and the Origin of Captain Comet, the Origin of Beast Boy, the final issues to the first Volume, the third appearance of Celsius and Negative Woman, and tons more. All issues outstanding in condition but issues 119 and 122 do have some slight spine creasing, faint wear around a staple or two, mostly marvelous and concise inner pages.

Special and lovely large sized 100 pages filled giants times three, Marvel Treasury numbers 3 Thor, 5 The Hulk, and 10 Thor from 1974, 1975 and 1976, Lee, Kirby, Colletta and Len Wein. A small bit of creasing and nubbing to bottom right corner tips, minor edge wear to bottom centers on cover, concise and even inner pages, issue 10 some slight creasing to top right corner, slight browning to perimeter of frontispieces, a small one inch sized rip to back cover of Hulk.

Guest starring Colonel Fury and The Thing before he was even a thing and was just Ben Grimm, no guts no glory for Marvel Captain Savage and His Leatherneck Raiders here with nine samples, issue 2, 6, doubles of issue 7, 10, 11, 12, 16 and 17, from March of 1968 to November of 1969, Dick Ayers and John Severin and other greats on the battle visions. All nine issues really delightful, hardly any spine or perimeter creasing, clean covers and frontispieces, even inner pages. One of the copies of issue 7 is slightly nicer in terms of brighter coloring.

Sensational, savage, stupendous, spectacular and all of the above, Jennifer Walters would be proud — a She-Hulk lot unlike any other, beginning with a massive stack of Marvel The Savage She-Hulk with some doubles, numbers 5, 7, 8, 10, 11 (x2), 12 through 23 all of those with doubles (x2), 24, then issue 25 the finale of the series with doubles, then Byrne’s Sensational She-Hulk numbers 2, 3, 4, 19 and 31, She-Hulk number 1 from 2004, finally all this complemented with three giant TPBs: She-Hulk Single Green Female 2004, Sensational She-Hulk 1992, and She-Hulk The Complete Collection by Dan Slott 2014. 42 awesome Shulkie items in total. One very faded stamping to the cover of one of the copies of issue 23, but spotless covers and VF copies Pratt much entirely, no creases to spines or covers and super sharp edges and corners.

The greatest super heroes of WWII here to defend justice, Marvel The Invaders Volume 1 issues 4, 6, 8, 9 (x2), 10 (x2), 11 (x3), 13 (x2), 14 (x2), 16, 18, 19, 21 (x2), then a straight shot issue 24 to issue 41 all singles with no doubles there, January of 1976 to the issue 41 which is the finale of the series September of 1979, then Marvel The Invaders Classic Volume 3 first printing from 2009 and The New Invaders To End All Wars first printing from 2005. The second appearance of the Liberty Legion, first cover Union Jack, first Julia Koenig, first Scarlet Scarab, first Teutonic Knight, First Lady Lotus and a bunch more. All issues clean and sharp, TPB as well, faint moments of wear around a staple or two, but VF copies mostly, issue 4 has a scuff stain near the start of the logo. 41 total items in fact, which is kind of odd considering that’s how many issues this first Volume included.

So many greats work featured on the series of the GoTG, Buscema, Howard Chaykin, Terry Austin, Al Milgrom and many others, this isn’t a complete run of their span on the Volume but it’s still awesome — Marvel Presents Volume 1 issues 5, 6 (x2, doubles), 7, 8, 9 (x2), 10, and issue 11 from June of 1976 to June of 1977, first Topographical Man, first Mother Superior and more as Starhawk and company encounter Silver Surfer, Barbarians and Vampires. A tiny centimeter ding to top center edge of issue 11, a few very very faint tiny creases to a spine of two, clean concise inner pages and frontispieces, a slight crease to the bottom right corner of one of the copies of issue 9 and 10.

Superboy and The Legion here with an excellent eighteen (18) issue lot: DC Adventure Comics Volume 1 issues 319, 320, 353, 364, 369, 370, 372, 373, 376, 383, 386, 387, 413, 419, 425, 442, 459, 461, the Death Of Ferro Lad and first appearance of The Fatal Five, first Legion Of Super-Villains, first appearance and Origin of Radiation Boy, plus much more with dazzling Curt Swan/Neal Adams/Murphy Anderson covers. Issues 319, 364 and 425 are VF/NM, issue 353 has a slight bit of surface rubbing near the spine, some slight moments of color fading, print rubbing and spine creasing, but mostly marvelous copies.

The purple suited avenger of yesteryear with some fabulous Jim Aparo covers, Charlton The Phantom Volume 2 issues 32 (the third issue of the series) from June of 1969, issues 36-40, 42, 44, 46 (x2 doubles), 48, 50, 51 (x2), 52, 53, 57, and 61 from September of 1974, then three issues of King Features The Phantom Volume 2 issues 18 and 23 (x2 with doubles of 23), issue 18 the first issue of the series from September of 1966 with Bill Lignante cover and inner work. Issues 42, 57, 50, 39 with some typical spine creasing, issue 32 with a few scuffs toward bottom left corner and some slight spine wear, one of the issues 23 has slightly better color vibrance, issue 18 is excellent, mostly VG/Fine copies.

Roy Thomas, Romita, Herb Trimpe and Gary Friedrich provide the gasoline to toss upon the fires for this fantastic first — Marvel Spotlight Volume 1 issues 12 and 13 from October and January of 1973 and 1974, the first appearances of Daimon Hellstrom The Son Of Satan and following Origin, plus the second ever but first full color Satana Hellstrom, first full Demon Steeds as well. Spectacular copies with beautiful concise inner pages and frontispieces, covers are delightful, only a few super tiny creases to spine and the faintest nubbing to top left corner of issue 12.

Archie, Jughead, Betty and Veronica, Pep, Laugh encapsulating a great deal of the Archie universe with fifteen (15) fabulous VF/F+ copies of Archie, Archie’s Girls numbers 224, 225, 226, 227, and 229, then Archie Giant Series numbers 243 from June of 1976, issue 248, 250, 251, Archie 263 from July of 1977, Pep #295 and 296, 298 and 298 from 1974 to 1975 with Josie and The Pussycats cameo, then Laugh #296 from November of 1975. All fifteen issues fantastic and fabulous in condition, VF/F copies from an organized, clean and cherished collection.

Enough early and excellent T’Challa to fill a few acres of Wakanda almost, beginning with Marvel Premiere Volume 1 issues 51, 52 and 53, 1979-1980, then two issues of Black Panther Volume 1 numbers 3 and 14, the first appearance of Ogar for the Kirby issue and the landmark first ever professional cover work from Bill Sienkiewicz for 14, then an onslaught of Jungle Action Volume 1 including issues 5, 9, 10, 11 (x2), 14, 15, 16, 17 (x3), 19, 21 (x2), and issue 22. Issues 21 and 22 are of course the iconic Klan covers and first appearance of the Soul-Strangler, Leroy Ames, Harrison Stryker, and the Crandall’s, many many other minor first appearances here. All the Premiere’s remain outstanding and sharp, all three copies of issue 17 are quite great with one of them having the slightly better colors on cover, some slight print rubbing to the top of issue 16 and minor spine creasing, some print rubbing to the logo for issue 15, a few brief dings to the top edge of one of the #11 issues, some pen marking to the corner box of issue 9, awesome copies mostly. 21 Panther comics in total.

Steve Rogers in a gigantic and enormous way, Key issues, trade-paperbacks, a sealed hardcover, a treasury and more than a full short box — 1976 Marvel Treasury Special Captain America Bicentennial Battles. TPBS: Captain America And The Falcon: Nomad, Captain America The Bloodstone Hunt, Captain America Winter Soldier Volume 2, and Captain America Streets Of Poison. Mark Millar’s The Ultimates number 1 comic and sealed hardcover Volume 1. Then Marvel Captain America Volume 1 issues (Key issues first): 168, 171, 180, 217, 275, 284, Marvel Knights Captain America number 1 from June of 2002, Rob Liefeld Captain America number 1 from November of 1996, then two Steranko Reprints: Captain America Special Edition numbers 1 and 2. Then: Captain America Special #2 from January of 1972, King-Size Annual 3 & 4 from 1976 and 1977, Volume 1 issues 131-136, 138-167,169-179, 181-183, 185-211, 213-216, 218-240, 242-246, 249, 252, 254, 256-274, 276-283, 285-295, and issues 305 and 306. 173 items in total. Half of the comics in the short box are unbagged, however the majority of these remain in Very Good if not better condition, minor moments of edge wear or nubbing, photos of every single item included.

Boldly going… Gold Key Star Trek Volume 1 issues 13, 15, 19, 20, 21, and issue 24 from February of 1972 to May of 1974, intriguing covers from George Wilson and script by the legend Len Wein, Spock, Kirk and crew against stellar galactic challenges aplenty. Issues 13, 20 and 21 are VF/NM pretty copies, the other three are delightful as well with minor wear to spines and slight nubbing to corners, excellent inner pages, a stamp to the bottom of intro page for issue 21 and a lone corner crease to bottom of issue 20 and the faintest foxing to its frontispiece.

A long long time ago in a galaxy far far away…there was a wonderful grouping of 11 issues of Sith versus Jedi glory — Dark Horse Books’ Star Wars Omnibus Early Victories, Shadows Of The Empire, and Quintana Vos: Jedi In Darkness, then DH Star Wars Classics A Long Time Ago Volumes 1 through 6 but with doubles of issues 1 and 3, Classics from 1999 and of course with beautiful Ralph McQuarrie cover work, Omnibus’ all first editions from 2008-2010. All like-new and clean and sharp except for a very faint warping to bottom right corner of Early Victories.

From Star Trek to Star Wars to Alien…you gotta love it, well at least I do. Spectacular Mignola, Bernie Wrightson, Simonson and other greats for this nine issue lot, beginning with Dark Horse Aloen Sacrifice 1993, Aliens Special One-Shot from 1997, Dark Horse/DC Batman Aliens TPB 1 from 1997, Mignola and Gibbons Aliens Salvation One-Shot from 1993, Aliens Resurrection 1 and 2 from 1997, Aliens Mondo Heat One-Shot from 1996, and Alien The Illustrated Story from Titan Books May 2012 both first editions with variant covers. All items clean and like-new, faint dots of wear to the Illustrated Story’s.

Some fabulous Byrne, Williamson, Chan, Rubenstein covers for the not-so-jolly green giant, Marvel Incredible Hulk Volume 1 issues 208, 213, 217, 218, 219, 220, 223, 226, 227, 230, 237, 240, 242, 243, 286, 253, 360, 381, 390, 397, 405, and the Annual number 17 from 1991. Mostly fine copies withe clean covers and spines, possible faint wear spots and a nubbing or two, slight print rubbing to a back cover or two.

The New Universe has arrived, Marvel Mark Hazzard Merc numbers 1 through the final issue 12 but missing and skipping over issues 7 and 10 but with doubles of issue 9 and including the Giant-Sized Annual #1 from 1987, Justice number 1 through 14 from 1986 with doubles of 14, 5 and 7, 1986 Psi-Force numbers 1 through 12 but missing issues 7, 9 and 10, then The Saga Of Crystar The Crystal Warrior 1983 #1 through 11 complete with doubles of the finale double-sized issue 11, finally Star Brand numbers 1 through 11 but missing issues 7 and 10 but with doubles of issie 6 and including the Giant-Sized Annual number 1 from 1987. A total of 62 issues. Slight spine wear to a few comics, but most in Fine+ great condition with clean vibrant covers and great edges. Mark Texeira, Bob Larkin, Gray Morrow and other greats.

Sensational jungle and beast savagery from as far back as May of 1967, Gold Key Turok Son Of Stone Volume 1 issues 57, 58, 59 (x2), 61, 64, 65 (x2), 66, 68, 69, 70, 94, 95, 97, 107, 111, 112, 118 and 130, 130 is the finale of the series the ending epic. Some typical spine creasing to a few issues, but as you can see mostly great and sharp covers with not much at all in the way of dings, dents or damage, some slight print rubbing possible to some backings, mostly concise inner pages.

A huge and diverse grouping of various Marvel titles beginning with Marvel Wolverine Volume 2 issues 7, 9, 12, 13, 14 and 33 the "Grave Undertakings" Silvestri cover, then Wonder Man number 1 from September of 1991, West Coast Avengers issues 1, 5, 6, 8 and 11, Cable Parts 1 and 2 from 1992 the John Romita Jr issues, then X-Factor Volume 1 issue 33 (the first appearance of Orphan-Maker), 38, 39, 40 (first Rob Liefeld Marvel work ever), 57, 75, and 76, then Marvel and Epic Pinhead number 1 embossed cover, finally three sealed issues with trading cards Ghost Rider Annual 1 from 1993, Ghost Rider 31 1992 with poster, and Excalibur Annual 1 from 1993 with card. Some slight spine creasing to two of the Wolverines, issue 33 has a very small and hard to see smudge to the center on cover and issue 56 of X-Factor has a stamping to logo, but most issues here are clean and sharp with no major or minor blemishes.

Beautiful fairy tales of wonder and coupled with wicked great illustrations, Vertigo Fables 1001 Night Of Snowfall 2006 and Peter And Max A Fables Novel from 2009 both written by award winning Bill Willingham, then 2000AD Brass Sun The Wheel Of Worlds 2014 first printing. All three books beautiful and clean in condition.

Cullen Bunn and Brian Hurtt for Oni Press’ The Sixth Gun Parts 1, 2 and 3 first editions from 2011 to 2012 fantasy westerns TPB sized, and then Dufaux and Marini’s Raptors Volumes 1, 2, 3 and 4 from NBM 1999-2001 11 x 14 magazine sized morsels of mature horror action. All items clean and like-new.

The Higher United Nations Defense Enforcement Reserves called into hardcore duty here with a staggering grouping, half a short box of gems and three TPBs — Tower Comics Thunder Agents Volume 1 issues 2, 6, 7 all the way through the end of the legendary series with the finale collector’s edition issue 20 but with doubles for every issue except 2, 6 and 15, January of 1966 to November of 1969, then as if that wasn’t enough Wallace Wood wonder, Thunder Agent Dynamo number 2, 3 and 4 with doubles of issue 4, Thunder Agent NoMan number 1 and 2 with doubles of both of those issues, finally three TPBs: The Thunder Agents Companion from TwoMorrows 2005, Thunder Agents Classics Volume 5 and 6 from IDW from 2015 both first printings. TPBs remain clean and smooth, a very faded 10 cent stamping to the cover of one of the issue 7’s, minor moments of nubbing to the very tips of a few corners, a few brief spine creasings but as you can see these issues are nice and dynamite, issue 2 has a super clean sharp cover, a big corner crease to the bottom of one of the issue 9’s but these other is very very nice, cream clean frontispieces and concise even inners, nice back cover, these issues were double sized so wear around the staples and spine was typical, but these are just great.

Big, The Burbs and Joe Versus The Volcano, and honestly who doesn’t love a good Tom Hanks film? All three posters are clean and smooth with hardly and damage to corners or edges, slight creasing from folded storage, they measure 37 x 25 and 38 x 26.

Now these are rare and cool, distributor only promo kits including films for the following movies: Driving Miss Daisy, Christmas Vacation, Impulse, 007 For Your Eyes Only, and Dangerous Liaisons. These are cardboard folding holders with VHS tapes inside and promo materials such as posters, pamphlets etc. Some slight wear to some edges and corners (especially on 007), slight dust, but hardly ever touched.

Al Simmons took the comic world in his tortured hands in the 90’s, here’s four fabulous Todd McFarlane samples — Image Spawn number 1 and 6 (many firsts such as Wanda Simmons, Overtkill and more) from 1992, issue 1 a first printing, DC Batman Spawn 1994 first printing, Image Spawn Batman 1994. All four in VF condition, the ever so slightest nubbing to the top left corner of Spawn 1, clean concise inner pages and backings.

AAA Pop Comics The Vault Of Michael Allred Limited Edition hardcover and Kitchen Sink Press Madmam Oddity Odyssey TPB from 1995 plus Madman Adventures TPB first printing January 1995. The Oddity has some slight surface scuffs to bottom left edge and top left corner on cover, the hardcover has some chipping to the right opening and top edges.

Some spectacular Nick Cardy, Joe Rubenstein, Neal Adams, Mike Grell and Curt Swan covers for this grouping of powerful Kon-El issues, DC Superboy Volume 1 numbers 175, 176, 182, 183, 184, 186, 189, 190, 193 (x2) with two copies, 203, 204, 207, 210, 221, 225, 226, 231, and finally issue 241, June of 1971 to June of 1978. The majority are Very Fine, spotless covers with vibrant colors and excellent spines and edges, very little whatsoever blemishes or creases.

The first six issues here are graded by whomever with a sticker labeling and do with that what you will but the majority of these are VF/NM copies, outstanding clean and sharp covers, sixteen (16) issues in total for Gold Key The Occult Files of Doctor Spektor Volume 1 issue 5, 6 (x2), 7, 8, 9, 10 (x2), 16, 17, 18 (x2), 19, 23 which is December of 1973 to December of 1976, and then Whitman/Gold Key Spine-Tingling Tales numbers 2 and 3 August and November of 1975, Jesse Santos covers aplenty. Issue 2 of Spine Tingling has a super brief bit of spine creasing, the rest are outstanding in condition.

Five fabulous hardcovers here, Dark Horse Rocco Vargas The Dark Forest first edition from January of 2001, Norma Editorial Roco Vargas El Juego De Los Dioses and La Balada De Dry Martini both first editions from 2004 and 2006, both of those in Spanish not English, 2013 Dynamite The Art Of Sean Phillips with Eddie Robson first edition, finally a sealed and shrink wrapped Oni Press Stumptown Volume 2 from Eisner Award winning Greg Rucka and Matthew Southworth 2013. All clean and like-new.

Two copies of Spectra Bantam Books’ Baltimore Or The Steadfast Tin Soldier And The Vampire 2007, Dark Horse Books B.P.R.D. Plague Of Frogs Volume 2 massive hardcover first edition September 2011, then Dark Horse Hellboy Christmas Special and The Corpse And The Iron Shoes 1996 and 1997. All like-new except a little bit of print rubbing to the bottom of the BPRD dust jacket.

You wanted the best, you got the best — back with a vengeance is Marvel KissNation One-Shot from December of 1995 wherein Kiss meet The X-men, Stan Lee, Doctor Strange and more written by Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons, then one issue short of being a complete series, 30 issues of Image Comics Kiss Psycho Circus numbers 1 through 30, only missing the finale issue 31, August of 1997 to January of 2000, issue 1 first printing. All comics VF/NM, superb copies.

The greatest to ever do it, "The King" showcased here with a massive amount, an entire Office Depot box full of TwoMorrows’ The Collected Jack Kirby Collector, the self-published and Pure Imagination The Jack Kirby Quarterly, Gemstone Publishing Comic Book Marketplace, Harbor Press Comicology The Kingdom Come Companion Volume One, Fantagraphics Books The Comics Journal Volume 3 the Special Edition Winter 2003 first printing, a massive many Volumes here a total of about 67 items, many are grouped in one bagging together, numerous Volumes including Volume 1 of the Jack Kirby Collector, and including the Jack Kirby Quarterly Tribute Edition #0 as well. Some slight warping to a few copies, mostly sharp and clean issues with hardly and dings or damages. See the great many photos included for issues.

Jughead, Archie, Betty and Veronica, Sabrina The Teenage Witch, Josie and The Pussycats and a whole bunch of the Archie Andrews universe included in this tremendous grouping, 24 issues total, Archie Giant Series number 458, 460, 462, 463, 467, 469, 472, 474, 475, 478, 481, 482, 484, 486, 487, 493, 494, 520, 528, 552, 571, 584 (x2, doubles of this issue), and issue 615, a delightful Dan DeCarlo time span through the laughs and trials June of 1977 to November of 1990. A few blemishes to point out: a pen marking to the corner box of issue 458, some staining to the bottom of number 469, some creases and a chip to the bottom right edge and corner for issue 463, some print rubbing and wear to the bottom and right edge of issue 528, excellent everywhere else and otherwise all other copies clean and spectacular.

Some spectacular Marvel, Mutant and DC moments here for sure, eighteen (18) total posters of varying sizes, but including mostly 1990s highlights from Magneto, Rise Of The Midnight Sons, Generation X, Thor, Thunderbolt, New Mutants, Wizard Magazine, DC Batman and Superman and more, there are two copies to Malibu Comics Ultraverse with Dave Dorman art, all posters pictured, plus including one cardboard Christopher Reeve Warner Home Video Superman The Movie 1980 cardboard Standie with unused backing. All with excellent edges and corners, some creasing from folded storage, all in nice condition. Guardians Of Metropolis, Lego and Hulk are double-sided.

A staggering line-up of the greatest greats, beginning with Vanguard Amazing World Of Carmine Infantino first printing June 2000, Vanguard John Romita Sketchbook 2002 gold foil hardcover edition, Fantagraphics Drawing Sexy Women Autobiographical Sketches by Frank Thorne 2000, Pure Imaginations Roy G. Krenkel Savage Worlds 2005, TwoMorrows Sal Buscema Comics Fadt & Furious Artist first printing 2010, Aardwolf Publishing Bamf The Uncanny Dave Cockrum A Tribute first printing 2004, Vanguard Neal Adams Monsters first edition 2003, Flesk Al Williamson Archives Volume 2 first printing July 2011 (absolutely beautiful), and finally Pure Imaginations Alex Toth In Hollywood 2009. All clean and like-new, faint wear to a bottom corner or two.

Enough Tony Stark to last three lifetimes, a treasure trove of terrific shell head spectacles here — almost an entire short box full, Marvel Iron Man Volume 1 issues 51, 53, 60, 101 through 111, issue 113 through 120, 122 through 124, 129 all the way through 149, 151 through 157, and finally the gold embossed Iron Man number 300 celebration issue, this span includes a great deal of Bob Layton’s cover work for the title, the first appearance of Snazzer, first Black Lama, first Dreadknight, first James Rhodes, Tony Stark Hall Of Armor and tons tons more, and like a cherry on the top of a titanium sundae, a sealed hardcover Iron Man Doomquest by David Michelinie, Bob Layton and JRJR. A total of 55 items. A couple issues sticker labeled a VF/NM as they’re from the same box, clean vibrant covers with great corners mostly, issue 53 has a lot of pen marking to its back cover (pictured), issue 60 a stamping to cover under logo, a few copies with some very brief print rubbing, faint spine creasing and nubbing.

Beautiful fantasy imagery in an abundance, all three of these signed and hand numbered for very low production runs — Insight Studios Groups Al Williamson Adventures with intro by Drank Cho 29 of only 500 ever made April of 2003, Berkeley Putnam Empire Howard Chaykin 375 of 1500 1978, and Flesk Mark Schultz Various Drawings Volume 5 signed and numbered 236 of only 800. Travis Morgan showcased here in a gigantic span of action and adventure, creator/illustrator Mike Grell’s passion project — DC The Warlord Volume 1 with 88 issues, a huge chunk of the series, and an accompanying The Warlord The Savage Empire TPB first printing from November of 1991, the issues are: number 2 (x2) with doubles, issues 3 through 85, then a skip to issue 108, 109 and 116, from April of 1976 to 1991, the first appearance of Machiste the Skartarian, third ever Warlord, first Mariah Romanova and more. All issues VF/F some even sticker labeled as such, a few instances of very minor spine creasing or around the staples, outstanding covers.

The Justice Society Of America on call and up for challenge, eight total trade paperbacks here with Darkness Falls 2002, The Return Of Hawkman 2002, Savage Times 2004 (x2) geo copies of this TPB, Princes Of Darkness 2005, Mixed Signals 2006, Ghost Stories 2006, and JSA All Stars 2004. All books like-new and sharp and clean except for all but 3 have a pesky paper price sticker to their backings, I didn’t want to remove them in case it would cause any minor damage.

Mar-Vell-ous, 26 issues of Captain Marvel Volume 1 issues 30, 34, 43 all the way straight shot through issue 62, from January of 1974 to May of 1979 the finale of the series issue 62, then The Life Of Captain Marvel issues 2 through 5 1985-1986, and to top it off five TPBs: The Life And Death Of Captain Marvel 2002, Captain Marvel First Contact 2001, Captain Marvel Nothing To Lose 2003, Captain Marvel Odyssey 2004, and Captain Marvel Crazy Like A Fox 2004. The first appearance of Nitro, first Head General, First Lunatic Legion, first Dr. Minerva and more with Al Milgrom, Bernie Wrightson and a few Starlin covers. The TPBs are all like-new except Crazy Like A Fox has some considerable waving warping to the right edge, all issues clean and sharp with minor print rubbing or creasing moments, if at all.

From July of 1955 to September of 1960 spans these four vintage battle tales: DC Our Army At War Volume 1 issues 36, 39, 50, and issue 98, Sgt. Rock and company in the thick of war and in the trenches. As you can see, issues 36, 39 and 50 are actually quite nice, a faint bit of foxing or browning to the frontispieces and or backings but they remain mostly sharp and clean with hardly any damage, concise even inner pages, a brief bit of color fading and creasing to the spine of issue 36, some wear to the bottom of spine and slight tiny creases to it for 39 and a very tiny stamping near corner box, issue 98 has definite spine and perimeter wear on cover, a pen marking, taping to frontispiece, one of the stapes is lose for the centerfold but the other is intact, the backing a big stain and some scuffs.

From Steve Gerber, Ed Hannigan, Jim Mooney, Joe Sinnott and others, the first appearance of Model X3Z the titular titan, first James Michael-Starling, Dr.Barrow, Protar and more for Marvel Omega The Unknown Volume 1 issues 1 through 10 the final issue, then Omega The Unknown Classic TPB from 2005 (x2) with two copies first printing, March of 1976 to October of 1977, the rise and death of Omega. All issues superb and sharp, a brief bit of print rubbing to back of issue 2 (see photos), isue 1 is a VF with white frontispiece and concise inners and clean sharp backing, some print rubbing to the corner box and spine of issue 8.

From December of 1966 to February of 1976 the haunts and frights continue, Gold Key Boris Karloff Tales Of Mystery Volume 1 with 17 issues numbers 16, 17, 18, 19, 22, 30, 35, 40, 42, 44, 45, 46, 47, 48, 53 and 66, Don Heck, Tom Wilson, George Wilson and other greats sharpened their scary pencils on this title. Mostly VG/F+ copies if not better, especially for the later issues, typical spine creasing to some older copies, a few nubbings to a few corner tips, issue 22 has some wear to the top of spine.

Rob Liefeld and Fabian Nicieza’s squad on assault but teamed up with another mutant squad for one landmark issue because why not, Marvel X-Factor Volume 1 number 1 from 1995, the first appearance of the team via creator Bob Layton, then Liefeld with Marvel X-Force Volume 1 issues 1 (x3) three copies of this one and only 1 is sealed in the bagging with card the other two are raw without card, then issues 2 (x2), 3 (x2), 4 through 10, and a sealed bagged copy of issue 18 X-Force The Final Chapter to X-Cutioner’s Song with Styfe card to its backing (pictured). Of course the second ever appearance of Deadpool, first G.K. Weapon X, second G.W. Bridge, third ever Deadpool, first Genesis, first cameo of Domino, first Wild Pack, Origin of Cable, first Externals, and more. A very very tiny ding near corner box for one of the issue 3’s, mostly VF fantastic copies, X-Factor excellent copy as well.

Let the bullets and battles begin, Charlton Fightin’ Army Volume 1 issues 30 from 1959, issues 63, 68, 70, 100, and 101, then Army Attack number 46 1966, Army War Heroes 12 1966, DC Army At War Volume 1 number 1 1978 Kubert Cover, Quality Comics Yanks In Battle #2 from 1956, and Atlas Navy Action 9 from 1955. The Army Attack and Navy Action are very low/no grades, cover is detached and wear to its perimeter edges for both, Army At War with some slight waving, a few brief creases and faded wear to perimeter, Yanks has a chip to top right corner and bottom right edge, wear to spine and perimeter, similar chipping to spine and perimeter wear for Navy Action, scattered creasing to Fightin’ Army and lesser so to the other issues, some browning within, a chip to the back cover of issue 30, some pen marking to intro page for issue 63.

Jack The King Kirby, Joe Kubert, and Mike Royer working wonder for this often overlooked series, DC OMAC One Man Army Corps Volume 1 complete miniseries with a few doubles 1 through 8 with doubles of issues 7 and 8, October of 1974 to December of 1975, the first and of course second appearances of OMAC, Brother Eye, and first Doctor Skuba. 11 issues total. Mostly marvelous VF/F copies, excellent inner pages and backing to issue 1, a few minor surface scuffs to cover of issue 2, clean covers typically with very little to no creasing or wear, white frontispieces and backings.

Blazing saddles over 60 years ago, Toby Press Billy The Kid Volume 1 number 7, 11, and 23 from June of 1954, then the publisher switch to Charlton Billy The Kid for issue 19 from November of 1959, then Dell Rex Allen 3 and 6 from 1952 and issue 25 from 1957. Rex Allen’s remain mostly very nice with mostly good edges and some slight spine creasing, some similar creasing to the Toby Billy The Kid’s, a few chips to the perimeter edges of issue 23.

Both hats are snap backs, Pokémon 8-bit and Yoshi’s Park (Mario Bros Jurassic Park spoof), two Kirby shirts, 3 Zelda Link shirts, 2 Mario and 1 Pac Man shirt, shirt sizes are XL Youth, they are all Gildan brand heavy cotton, look hardly worn, no discoloration, hats as well. All tagged.

Mighty Comics Group Super Heroes Versus Super Villains One-Shot from 1966, MCG/Archie The Mighty Crusaders Volume 1 issues 2 through 7 almost a complete miniseries run without issue 1, but also including two doubles (x2) of issues 5 and 7, January to October of 1966, the Origin Of The Comet and more, then Fly Man 32, 33 (x2), 35 and 36 (x2), 1965-66 the first Silver Age and Origin of The Web and more, finally two TPBs: Red Circle The Mighty Crusaders Origin Of A Super Team 2003 and Archie The Shield America’s 1st Patriotic Comic Book Hero (that’s a bold statement) 2002. Dell number 1060 Journey To The Center Of The Earth 1959, number 1051 Disney Donald In Mathmagic Land from 1959, Garrison’s Gorillas number 1 from 1968, The Mod Squad number 3 1969, Mission Impossible 3 from 1967, and The Rat Patrol numbers 2 and 3 from 1967. Some slight spine creasing to Journey, a few issues with minor print rubbing to backings, Disney has some rubbing and slight wear to spine, mostly concise and sharp inner pages, clean frontispieces mostly. The Rat Patrol’s are dangerously close to VF while the rest have one or two blemishes that keep them at a Fine- or around there, a lone bent corner tip, a tiny scuff, Gorillas 1 would be a VF but there is a chip to a bottom corner for page 3.

God Loves, Man Kills, the iconic mutant story that was the basis for and spawned the animated series that was recently retold, Marvel X-men God Loves Man Kills and the Xtreme X-men Volume 5 God Loves, Man Kills TPB both from 2003, then 3 of the Jim Lee Variant covers for X-men 1 1991, the Andy Kubert Jean and Scott wedding issue for X-men 30, the King-Size Annual 5 from 1981, Uncanny X-men 258, 275, 286, and issue 300 the silver hologram JRJR cover, a few wraparound covers and great mutant moments for sure. All copies VF sharp and clean.

Ernie Chan and David Micheline behind the pages for DC Claw The Unconquered Volume 1 numbers 1 through 9, missing the final three issues to complete the series, issue 1 the first appearance of Claw from June of 1975 through issue 9 October of 1976 and that issue the first ever Bob Layton solo inking work for DC, then Ernie Colon and Roy Thomas’ DC Arak Son Of Thunder 1 the origin of Arak from September of 1981 and the lone Arak Annual 1 from 1984. All issues Fine+ or better, a few samples have some very very light spine creasing, issue 1 is delightful (see photos), a few tiny and super brief spots of print rubbing.

Astonishing and then some. Timothy Truman, Stan Woch and Chuck Dixon’s terrific take on this aeronautical property, over 300 pages to each IDW Airboy Archives Volumes 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 complete, from 2014 on, out of stock in many places as this completes the Valkyrie / Airboy / Skywolf saga. All gaint Archives clean and like-new, however Volume 5 has the tiniest chip to the top left edge, beautiful books for anyone to start and simultaneously complete a stunning run.

Jefferson Pierce and Bill Foster up against numerous foes such as Stilt Man, Vulcan and even Superman himself, Black Goliath Numbers 2 through 5 only missing issue 1, April to November of 1976, then Volume 1 of Black Lightning numbers 3 through 10, July of 1977 to August of 1978, missing issues 1, 2 and 11 to its run. Neither of these series are complete but they are close and still terrific, Beautiful Rick Buckler/Colletta covers shine in this condition for the Lightning as those copies are easy VF/NMs, beautiful vivid and vibrant colors, fabulous corners and edges with hardly any even slight creasing, Goliath’s are similar, great great copies.

Some fabulous moments from TV and Sci-Fi history here, Gold Key The Girl From Uncle #4 August of 1967, Man From Uncle # 5, 17, 18 and 22 from 1966-68, I-Spy #4 from 1967, Voyage To The Bottom Of The Sea #10 and 15 1967-68, The Green Hornet #3 1967, The Jungle Twins #8 1974, and finally The Wild Wild West #5 1969. Some bunched creasing to bottom corner of Jungle Twins and some wear to its spine, some typical moments of slight spine creasing and a few spots of brief print rubbing, very good concise and even inner pages and back covers are mostly nice.

Another stunning organized, pristine and clean grouping of Hogarth Boston Sunday Post 16 x 33 Al Foster Prince Valiant newspaper pages from King Features, a total of roughly 113 pages (they were counted twice, but for sure every single page is photographed) all superb in condition and from years 1959, 1958, 1957 and 1956, the tail end of the 1950’s. No foxing, no rips or tears, all pages separated with tissue paper dividers, like the remainder of these pages in this auction, dazzling artwork and conditions you don’t hardly often at all see for pages 60 + years old. All of these you’re going to see are from a beautiful and cherished family collection from New Jersey, and all of them pristine, amazing shape, and stored spectacularly with tissue paper dividing and board, labeled, cataloged and stored and hardly ever touched, broken down by decade, years or character for simplicity sake.

DC’s nuclear hot head that made such an impact on Crisis On Infinite Earths saga here with a massive span of his first two series plus a TPB, a total of 107 comic issues from April of 1978 to August of 1990, the finale epic. Everything you need here practically except for the first issue, Steve Ditko imagery and then some for the heroic Rac Shade, DC Shade The Changing Man Volume 1 issues 2 through 8 the finale of the miniseries every issue has a double but the final four issues, 5 through 8, have triples, September of 1977 to September of 1978, then a lone TPB Vertigo Shade The Changing Man Scream Time Volume 3 with Jamie Hewlett cover first printing 2010. All nineteen items clean, sharp, smooth, beautiful vivid colors on cover, excellent corners and edges.

More pummeling from Frank Castle, Marvel War Journal #1, Punisher War Zone #1 and 2, The Punisher 2099 #1, The Punisher Summer Special #1 - this is an error printing that does not include the Comics Code stamp to corner box, and a sealed in bagging with card to back Punisher Annual #6 from 1993. VF copies, clean and superb.

From January 1965 to November 1968, the squadron of special agents showcased here after the publisher switch, DC Blackhawk Volume 1 issues 204, 208, 210, 211, 220, 225 (x2) with doubles, 227, 231, 235, 236, 237 (x2) with doubles, 238, 239, 240, 242, and doubles of issue 243 (x2),the Black Knights with Dick Giordano, Dick Dillin, Mort Drucker, Sheldon Moldoff and more. 19 issues total. The majority are Fine+ copies, a few issues with some slight wear, spine creasing, 2 issues with a tiny pen marking on cover, mostly vibrant colors, concise inner pages, clean white frontispieces.

The first appearance of The Fishermen, second ever Ocean Master, first Awesome Threesome, first Scavenger, first Liquidator, and much more aquatic awesomeness with this enormous DC Aquaman Volume 1 smattering, books #21, 32, 34, 36, 37 (x2, doubles), 38, 39, 40, 41 (x2), 43 (x2), 44 (x2), 45, 47 (x2), 48 (x2), 51, 52 (x2), 53, 54, 55 (x2), 56, 58 (x2), 59 (x2), 60 (x2), 61, 62 (x2), and the finale issue of the Volume number 63, plus DC Super-Stars #7 from September 1976, the Black Manta/Ocean Master epic. A majority of Fine+ copies if not better, a few with some typical creasing to spines and an edge or two, SU 56 with a pencil marking to title, a few very fine copies like issue number 53 and issue 52’s plus many others, issue 21 has some creasing to perimeter and some bunched corners, photos taken of the inner pages and backing for that issue, some chipping to back cover attached via a few strands, all other copies delightful mostly.

Some marvelous Mike Zeck covers here encapsulating a huge chunk of the 1980’s, Destro, Storm Shadow, Snake Eyes meet a few of the Autobots and Decepticons (plus a hint of MoTU): Marvel G.I. Joe A Real American Hero Volume 1 issues 26, 28, 36, 37, 38, 41, 42, 46, 53, 55, 57, 63 (x2), and 67 and then the Annual Yearbook #3, G.I. Joe Special Missions #1, three copies of the Jetfire feature of Transformers #11, 21, issue 4 of the Four issue Miniseries, Transformers The Movie #2, the beginning and end of the four issue miniseries G.I. Joe and Transformers #1 and 4, and finally Masters Of The Universe #2 (x2). The majority of these issues are VG-/G, a couple nice copies but most have some wear, waving, creasing, nubbing, and all worn and well-read, please be advised, they’re all complete and intact no major tears or rips but just a fair amount of wear to them.

Vlad Tepes sinks his fangs ferociously here with five fantastic samples, beginning with Dutton’s Dracula The Un-Dead by Dacre Stoker and Ian Holt first printing October 2009, Image Dracula, Motherfxcker from Alex De Campi and Erica Henderson first printing 2020, then the three TPBs: Marvel Tomb Of Dracula The Complete Collection Volumes 3 and 4 2019 and 2020 and Tomb of Dracula Day Of Blood Night Of Redemption 2019. All five items fabulous in condition with no damages.

Jack The King Kirby getting evil and prehistoric with his side-project creation, Marvel Devil Dinosaur Volume 1 almost complete with issues 2 through the final issue 9 and with doubles of the first three issues (x2 for issues 2, 3 and 4), May to December of 1978, many first appearances to this universe, then also included is the Devil Dinosaur TPB The Complete Collection first printing 2014. All items VF and practically spotless, sharp superb copies.

With Fantastic Four, Avengers Doomsday and Secret Wars on the horizon for the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the world is soon to get very acclimated with Victor Von Doom and here’s a smattering of Latveria’s powerful king coupled with Namor, Red Skull and the baddies, the Byrne cover for issue 14 is glorious and iconic as is much of the legend’s work Marvel Super-Villain Team-Up Essential Volume 1 first printing from 2004, then almost a complete evil run of the first Volume with issues and doubles #2 (x2), 3, 4 (x2), 5 (x2), 6, 7, 8 (x2), 9, 10, 11, 12, 13 (x2), 14, 15, 16 and 17, the first appearance of Shroud, The Symbiotic Man and more from October of 1975 to June of 1980, all that’s missing is issue 1. Mostly all VF copies, some pen marking near the corner box for one of the copies of issue 8, a few books with extremely brief spine creasing and print rubbing to backings. Beautiful colors and covers.

Even Bob Hope is making a few appearance and so is Jack Kirby for some iconic covers, 26 issues in total to Superman’s Pal Jimmy Olsen Volume 1 numbers 87, 136 (x2), 137 (x2), 138 (x2), 139, 140, 141, 142, 143 (x2), 144 (x2), 145 (x3), 146, 147 (x2), 148 (x3), 149 and issue 150, September of 1965 to June of 1972, Kirby, Curt Swan, Al Plastino, Jerry Siegel, Mike Royer, and more greats. Majority of these issues labeled a VF or Fine, fabulous copies, clean and vibrant covers, minimal spine creasing and back cover print rubbing, mostly concise inner pages, a possible few moments of minor typical wear but awesome issues this bunch.

If the terms "international best-selling" and "award winning? don’t grab you, with introductions from legendary gods of the industry such as Steranko and Neal Adams, you know you’ve got great great stuff — Dark Horse Blacksad first edition June 2010, Blacksad A Silent Hell first edition June 2012, Blacksad Amarillo first edition October 2014, and the softcover from iBooks Blacksad Somewhere Within The Shadows first edition December 2003. All four items like-new, slight dust to a cover or backing.

The first appearance of Fire-Eyes, Tri-Animan, DePrayve but what’s really stunning is the Doug Moench story and Don Perlin artwork, Marvel Werewolf By Night Volume 1 issues 24, 28, 31, 41 and 42 the second of the last issue to the series, January 1977 featuring Iron Man, then a huge Marvel Essentials Werewolf By Night Volume 2 first printing 2007. All items awesome in condition, superb and sharp clean covers, please see photos for the bloody goodness!

Part man, part elemental, all dark and delightful via King Kirby, of this included issue 1 (issue 1 is not included) it would be an entire run completing the sensational Jason Blood series with doubles — DC Demon Volume 1 issues 2 through the final issue of the series #16, issues 10 through 16 have doubles (x2), October of 1972 to January of 1974. Issue 2 has a brief bit of creasing to the spine, one faded one to center and a pen marking to intro page, a faint bit of foxing to the backing of issue 4, but these are beautiful easy VF/F copies, pretty covers and corners, dazzling lot.

Wallace Wood, Steve Ditko, Joe Kubert — undeniably three of the greatest to ever do it: a still-sealed new and shrink wrapped DC The Bible via Joe Kubert hardcover limited edition 2012, Fantagraphics The Compleat Cannon via Wallace Wood 2001 softcover, and Fantagraphics The World Of Steve Ditko Strange and Stranger hardcover via Blake Bell 2008. These are all 11 x 14 or so larger treasury sized. A slight bit of dust to dust jacket bottom for Ditko, everything else clean and like-new.

The great and much-missed Darwyn Cooke behind the pages for IDW Richard Stark’s Parker Book One, Two, Three and Four, The Hunter, The Outfit, The Score, and Slayground 2009, 2012 and 2013 all first printings, then IDW The Complete Badger Volumes 1, 2, 3 and 4 2007-2008 Mike Baron and Jeff Butler with their project, all four of these first printings as well. All eight items excellent and sharp in condition with no damaging.

All of these you’re going to see are from a beautiful and cherished family collection, and all of them pristine, amazing shape, and stored spectacularly with tissue paper dividing and board, labeled, cataloged and stored and hardly ever touched, broken down by decade, years or character for simplicity sake.
