Serial # NSN. .69 caliber single shot percussion fired shotgun with a 42” barrel. The bore is fair, light rust with no pitting visible. Originally made as a US Model 1816 Flintlock Type III Musket, it was converted to percussion by the Bolster method. Approx. 350,000 were made at Harpers Ferry from 1816-1844 with the Type III being made from 1831-1844. This gun is dated 1840. The percussion conversions were done from the mid-1840’s right up until the Civil War. The metal finish on the barrel is a brownish gray patina with patches of scattered rust. There are no markings visible on the barrel. The lock plate and side plate are a silvery gray patina with patches of surface rust. The trigger guard and hammer are a rusty brown patina. The markings on the rear of the lock plate are clear. The full length walnut stock is in good to very good condition showing some dings and scratches with numerous dings on the underside of the butt along with older mildew stains. The stock is stamped with a small “AR/V” on the left side and “Greys” on the rear of the comb. The action works fine, holding on half and full cock. Includes a steel ram rod and a bayonet.

This gun features a blued barrel, frame and cylinder with a gold toned trigger guard/grip frame and gold toned small parts. The grips are a faux Mother of Pearl. The blued metal finish on the barrel, frame and cylinder is excellent showing no wear. The gold tones trigger guard/grip frame is excellent as well. The magazine tube shows moderate to heavy action wear with some scattered surface rust. The metal finish on the engraved steel receiver is in fair condition showing heavy wear on all surfaces with scratches and some scattered light surface rust. The grooved walnut forearm is in good condition showing moderate finish wear. The plain walnut butt stock is in fair to good condition, there is a large repair at the top of the wrist. This pistol features a matte black finished stainless steel slide and a black alloy frame. The matte black finish on the slide is in very good condition showing light edge wear. The satin black finish on the alloy frame is in excellent condition showing little to no sign of use. The stippled black rubber Hogue finger groove grips are in very good to excellent condition showing little wear. Post rear and dot front sights. The action works fine. Includes the original case with no instructions, the original black plastic grips and an extra magazine.

Serial # 35010. .44-40 WCF caliber double action revolver with a 5” barrel. The barrel appears to have been shortened. The bore is fair with scattered roughness and worn rifling. Made in 1895. The revolver has been completely refinished. The re-blued metal finish on the barrel is in very good condition showing little wear, the markings show evidence of heavy buffing. The re-blued metal finish on the 6 shot fluted cylinder is in very good condition as well. It appears to be matching, a “10” is visible on the face of the cylinder. The re-blued finish on the frame is in good to very good condition showing little wear with some remnant pitting on the left side. The only marking is the Rampant Colt which is about 50% buffed away. The checkered brown gutta percha grips are in good to very good condition showing light wear. The action seems to work OK.

R Serial # 7082g. 9mm Luger caliber semi auto pistol with a 4” barrel. The bore is very good to excellent, clean with strong rifling. Detachable wood bottom magazine. The chamber is dated 1916. Appears to be a Post-War re-work, possibly Russian Capture or East German. The receiver appears to have been re-stamped to match the frame. The DWM marked toggle assembly is matched to itself, but mis-matched to the frame. Small parts are randomly numbered. The wood bottomed magazine is marked only with a “)”, the body is electro-penciled with the frame number. The blued metal finish on the barrel is a re-blue and is in in good to very good condition showing light edge wear with slight thinning. The blued metal finish on the receiver and toggle is a re-blue and is in good to very good condition showing light edge wear with slight thinning and light scratches. There are Imperial markings on the right side of the receiver, The blued metal finish on the frame is in good condition showing holster wear and edge wear. The front and rear grip straps are heavily worn to a gray patina and are turning slightly brown. The straw-colored parts have been blued. The left side is marked “United States Property” with an S12 Eagle inspection stamp. The left side of the slide is marked with the Colt patent dates. The right side is marked “Model of 1911. Serial # 4854. .71 caliber black powder percussion rifle with a 41” smooth bore barrel. The bore is very good, most clean with light rust. Maker’s mark on lock plate looks like F P&J/ Suhl with a “PS” stamp. The barrel and butt plate are dated 1831. The barrel has numerous proofs and markings. Sometimes referred to as an 1809/39, some of these were issued to Northern Regiments early in the Civil War. The metal finish on the barrel is a brownish gray patina with dings and scratches with pitting around the nipple area. The lock plate and hammer have a brown patina with scratches. The brass trigger guard, side plate, butt plate, barrel bands, and nose cap are in good condition. The rear band, trigger guard and side plate are marked with “88”as is the barrel. The butt plate is stamped “3C13LWR”. The sling swivels are present. The full-length stock has had extra finish added and is in very good condition showing some scattered light dings and scratches. The action works fine. Includes the trumpet style ramrod.

Serial # NSN. .71 caliber black powder percussion shotgun with a 41” smooth bore barrel. The bore is fair with rust, no serious pitting visible. It appears to have originally been a military musket, similar to a Model 1809 Potsdam Musket which was converted to a shotgun at some time. The lock has some illegible marking and is dated 1812. The barrel has no readable markings. The metal finish on the barrel is brown patina with heavy rust. The lock plate has been lightly cleaned and shows heavy rust as does the hammer and butt plate. Brass trigger guard, side plate and barrel band. The cut down military stock is in poor to fair condition showing numerous dings, scrapes, scratches and small cracks. The action works OK, it does not have a half-cock position. The nipple is broken off. The ramrod is missing.

Serial # NSN. .577-450 MH (?) caliber single shot lever action rifle with a 33” barrel. The bore is poor with heavy rust. Appears to be a Middle Eastern copy of the British M-H. The metal finish on the barrel is a rusty brown patina with dried pitch/grease and heavy rust at the muzzle. The metal finish on the receiver is a rusty grayish brown patina with edge wear, scratches and moderate surface rust. Foreign markings on the rear tang. The walnut butt stock and full-length forearm are in fair military condition with numerous dings, scratches and finish wear along with stress cracks and a sliver missing from the barrel channel on the right side. Farsi markings on the butt. Original front and rear sights. The action does not work. Includes a distorted cleaning rod that is too long and a large bayonet.

Serial # NSN. Approx. .72 caliber flintlock musket with a 32” part round, part octagon barrel. The bore is fair, rusty with no significant pitting visible. No markings visible on the barrel or lock plate. The metal finish on the barrel is a brownish gray patina with a covering of older cleaned surface rust and paint spatter. The lock plate is a dark brown patina with surface rust. The hammer and frizzen are a brown patina with surface rust. Brass burr plate, trigger guard and barrel ferrules. The full-length walnut stock with some decorative carving is in fair condition with scattered dings, scratches, paint spatter and finish wear. There is a swivel hole in the butt and a crack at the nose. The action seems to work OK, the hammer holds on half and full cock. Includes a wood ram rod.

Serial # NSN. Approx. 12 Ga percussion fired double barrel shotgun with 29” Damascus barrels. The bores are fair, rusty with no significant pitting visible. The barrel rib is marked “Warranted Laminated Steel” in gold inlay with gold bands at the breech end. The finely engraved lock plates are not marked. The metal finish on the barrels is a silvery gray patina with scratches and a covering of moderate surface rust. The engraved lock plates are a gray patina with light to moderate rust. The engraved hammers and trigger guard show moderate surface rust. The steel butt plate shows heavy rust and pitting. The checkered walnut half stock is in poor condition, it is cracked completely through the wrist, the butt is held on by the trigger guard, which is missing a screw. The checkering shows heavy wear. The action seems to work OK. Includes a wood ramrod.

Serial # NSN. .69 caliber single shot percussion fired shotgun with a 42” barrel. The bore is fair, light rust with no pitting visible. Originally made as a US Model 1816 Flintlock Type III Musket, it was converted to percussion by the Belgian method. Approx. 21,600 were made in Pittsfield MA from 1817-1836 with the percussion conversions taking place in the early 1850’s. This gun is dated 1821. The metal finish on the barrel is a rusty brown patina with patches of scattered rust. There is an eagle head proof, A “P”, a “V” and “PS” visible on the barrel, the tang is dated 1821. The lock plate and side plate are a rusty gray patina. The trigger guard, hammer, barrel bands and butt plate are a rusty brown patina. The markings on the lock plate are clear. The full-length walnut stock is in fair to good condition showing dings and scratches with paint streaks, spatter and finish wear. The stock has a script “FM” cartouche on the left side. The action works fine, holding on half and full cock. Includes a partial steel ram rod about 12” long rammed into the channel.

Serial # NSN. .577-450 MH (?) caliber single shot lever action rifle with a 33” barrel. The bore is poor with heavy rust. Appears to be a Middle Eastern copy of the British M-H. The metal finish on the barrel is a rusty brown patina. The metal finish on the receiver is a rusty brown patina with edge wear, scratches and patches of a remnant black paint-like finish. Foreign markings on the rear tang and lever. The walnut butt stock and full-length forearm are in poor military condition with numerous heavy dings, scratches and finish wear along with cracks in the forearm. Farsi markings on the butt. Original front and rear sights. The action seems to work OK. The cleaning rod is missing.

Serial # NSN. .69 caliber percussion fired musket with a 32” barrel. The bore is fair, light rust with no pitting visible. Originally made as a US Model 1816 Flintlock Type III Musket, the barrel and stock have been cut down. It was converted to percussion by the Bolster method. Approx. 16,600 were made in Philadelphia PA from 1822-1837 with the percussion conversions taking place in the mid-1850’s through the Civil War. This gun is dated 1835. The metal finish on the barrel is a black- brown patina with heavy pitting. There are no markings visible. There is a socket type bayonet rusted to the muzzle. The lock plate, hammer, trigger guard and side plate have been cleaned and have a gold-ish tone with dark brown patches of pitting. The butt plate is a brown patina with extremely heavy pitting. The markings on the lock plate are clear. The cut down walnut stock has been cleaned and refinished and dark stains. The stock has a “TW” cartouche in an oval on the left side. The action does not work. Includes a steel ram rod and the bayonet which is rusted to the barrel.

R Serial # 26316. .303 British caliber bolt action rifle with a 23-1/2” barrel. The bore is good, slightly dark with good rifling with heavy frosting/fouling in the grooves. Made by BSA in 1918. Detachable magazine. The rifle has been crudely sporterized by cutting back the barrel, down the forearm and discarding the front hand guard, the nose band and mid-band. The military sights have been discarded and sporter sights have been attached to the barrel. The receiver has been machined to accept a scope mount of some sort. The bolt is matched to the receiver, the magazine is mis-matched. The blued metal finish on the barrel and receiver is in good condition showing edge wear with light dings and scratches with some scattered light freckling. There is a patch of finish loss where the military rear sight was. The hardwood forearm has had extra finish added and has a crude gripping area carved into the underside. The butt stock has been slimmed down and a poorly rubber recoil pad added. There are 2 cracks at the butt along the comb. Original military swivel attached to the butt. The stock disc is missing. The action works fine. C&R.

It is the same as the Model 311A. Double triggers with extractors. The blued metal finish on the barrels is in is in good condition showing scratches and scattered spots of light surface rust. The finish on the receiver shows fading case color with carry wear on the underside. The black painted trigger guard shows edge wear and scratches. The plain walnut stock and forearm are in very good condition showing light marks and scratches with light finish wear. Plastic butt plate. The action works fine and is tight. C&R.

R Serial # 229962. .44 Magnum10” octagon barrel caliber single shot pistol with a 10” octagon barrel. The bore is excellent, clean with strong rifling. The barrel has been fitted with a compensated shot choke. The blued metal finish on the barrel is in very good condition showing little wear with scattered light scratches. The blued finish on the engraved receiver is in good to very good condition showing scattered light scratches and light rub marks from opening the action. The textured black synthetic forearm is in excellent condition showing some light marks from use. R Serial # 3585547. .30-06 caliber bolt action rifle with a 24” barrel. The bore is excellent, clean with strong rifling. The rifle was made in May of 1943. The RA barrel is dated 6-44. The rifle appears to be an un-finished project. The matte gray parkerized finish on the barrel is in very good condition showing little wear with some light scuffs and scratches. The gray parkerized finish on the receiver is in very good condition showing little wear with some light scuffs and scattered dots of light surface rust. The black finish on the bolt shows light edge wear and scratches. The blued metal finish on the floor plate and trigger guard shows light edge wear with scuffs and scratches. The plain walnut “C” type stock and handguard have been refinished and are excellent condition showing some light marks from handling. There are no cartouches visible. The front band screw, the mid band and the rear swivel are missing. Original military sights missing the front blade. R Serial # F7803. 16 Ga. double barrel shotgun with 28” barrels. The bores are excellent, clean and shiny. The barrels are both choked Full. Made by Davis-Warner Arms Corp. Double triggers with extractors. The blued metal finish on the barrels is a re-blue and is very good to excellent condition showing little wear with some fine scratches. The frame and trigger guard have been re-blued as well. They are in very good condition showing light edge wear with slight thinning and scattered light scratches. The checkered walnut forearm is in excellent condition showing little wear. The matching checkered walnut stock is in good condition showing some light marks rom use. There is a red plastic dowel through the wrist with 2 small cracks at the upper tang. Plastic butt plate. Action works OK, but the safety is not real positive and flops around, it does not engage well. C&R.

R Serial # K278708. .38 S&W Special caliber double action revolver with a 6” barrel. The bore is excellent, clean with strong rifling. There appears to be a slight bulge in the barrel about 2” from the muzzle with a corresponding ring in the bore. Made in 1956. A Pre-Model 14 revolver made on the K frame with a square butt and adjustable sights. The blued metal finish on the barrel is in good to very good condition showing light muzzle wear with light edge wear along the rib and some fine scratches. The blued finish on the cylinder is in good condition showing edge wear with a moderate drag line. The blued finish on the frame is in very good condition showing light edge wear with some fine scratches. The checkered walnut over-sized target grips with a thumb rest for a right-handed shooter are in very good condition showing little wear. The hammer and trigger show little case color. The action works fine. C&R.

R Serial # 043538. 9x18 Makarov caliber semi auto double action pistol with a 3-3/4” barrel. The bore is poor, it is clean and shiny, but basically a smooth bore, no rifling. 10 round detachable magazine. Fixed sights. The black metal finish on the slide is in very good condition showing light edge wear with some light scuffs. The tan finish on the steel frame is in good condition showing wear and scratches. The checkered black plastic grips are in good to very good condition showing scattered light scuffing and scratches. The action works fine.

R Serial # 79635. 7.7mm caliber Japanese caliber bolt action rifle with a 26” barrel. The bore is good, mostly clean with good rifling. Made at the Nagoya Arsenal with 11th Series (?) markings. This is a late war “Last Ditch” rifle that has many of the shortcut features designed to speed manufacture such as fixed sights, welded barrel bands and a wood butt plate. The bolt is matched to the receiver. The metal finish on the barrel and receiver is in fair condition showing wear and thinning with a covering of light to moderate surface rust. The floor plate and trigger guard show moderate to heavy surface rust. The mum has been ground. The military stock and handguard are in fair to good condition showing dings and scratches with heavier dings on the butt. The action does not work, the firing pin, main spring and cocking piece are missing. C&R.

Serial # 141010. .45-70 Govt. caliber single shot rifle with a 32½” barrel. The bore is excellent, clean with strong rifling. The breech block is marked 1873. Made in 1880. The blue metal finish on the barrel is in fair to good condition. It has mostly turned to a brown patina with a covering of light surface rust. The receiver and breech block are a brown patina with traces of case color on the underside of the breech block. The lock plate is a gray patina with dings and scratches. The walnut stock is in good to very good condition showing dings and scratches with finish wear. The cartouche has been defaced. 1879 type rear sight. The action works fine. Historical note: There is a star suffix (which looks like a 5 petal flower) after the serial number. This was used by Springfield Armory to denote arms made with a combination of new and salvaged parts, to be held in reserve, or issued to and/or used by groups like the National Guard. An order was issued in late 1879 for all arms below serial number 50,000 to be turned in. Parts from those guns which were turned in were reconditioned and assembled with new receivers, barrels and stocks. The receivers were marked with the star suffix. Over the years, there have been many theories for the star, but the above explanation is now accepted as fact.

Serial # NSN. Approx. 12 Ga percussion fired shotgun with a 19” barrel. The bore is good, rusty with no pitting. The barrel appears to have been cut back. The barrel and lock plate are marked J. Fordney Lancaster. Jacob Fordney worked as a gunmaker in Lancaster from about 1831 until approx.. 1860. The metal finish on the barrel is a rusty brown patina with dings and scratches. There is pitting around the nipple area. The lock plate is a smooth brown patina. The hammer is a rusty brown patina. The plain walnut half stock is in good condition with scattered light dings and scratches with finish wear. Brass butt plate, trigger guard and barrel ferrules. The action does not work, the nipple and bolster are missing. The hammer cocks, but it is sluggish. Includes a wood ramrod.

R Serial # 435807. .30-06 caliber bolt action rifle with a 24” barrel. The bore is fair to good, mostly clean with good but worn rifling and some light fouling/frosting in the grooves. The rifle was made in 1910. The S-A barrel is dated 6-10. The metal finish on the barrel and receiver is worn to near bare metal, there is little original finish remaining. Crescent-Davis was formed with the purchase of Davis-Warner and Crescent Arms by J. Stevens in 1930. The arrangement was short lived with the company being dissolved in 1935. Double triggers with extractors. The blued metal finish on the barrels is in good condition showing slight thinning with scratches and scattered light freckling. The frame shows edge wear and carry wear with faded case color which was coated with lacquer that has chipped and scratched. The checkered walnut forearm is in good condition showing flaking finish with some light dings and scratches. The checkered walnut butt stock has been stripped of its finish. The nickel finish on the frame is in good condition showing scattered light scratches with light edge wear and some scattered light surface rust. The F&W logo grips are in fair condition showing little wear, there is a large chip out of the bottom of the right panel. Serial # 6668. .45 Colt caliber single action revolver with a 5-1/2” barrel. The bore is excellent, clean with strong rifling. Made in 1874 as part of the 2nd US military contract. This revolver is an “Artillery” model; recalled in 1893 and reconfigured with a 5-1/2” barrel. The blued metal finish on the barrel shows heavy wear and thinning with scattered scratches. The barrel markings are clear and strong. The metal finish on the fluted cylinder shows heavy wear and thinning, it has a brown patina with little original finish remaining. The metal finish on the frame is a gray patina with traces of case color visible. The hammer and trigger also show traces of case color. The blued metal finish on the grip frame is mostly a worn gray patina with traces of original finish. The smooth walnut grips are dated 1903 and bear the inspection mark R.A.C. (Rinaldo A. Carr). The are in good condition showing light dings and scratches with finish wear. The action works OK, the half cock notch does not hold. Includes an un-marked leather holster.

Serial # 35768. .44 caliber black powder percussion single action revolver with an 8” barrel. The bore appears to be in good condition, strong rifling with some light rust visible. Made in 1862. 6 shot cylinder with a 3-screw frame. The metal finish on the barrel is a brown patina with light surface rust and scattered pitting, mostly on the left side. The barrel marking are mostly legible. The cylinder is a worn brown patina with light surface rust and scattered pitting. The markings are worn, but the patent dates and serial number are visible. The brass trigger guard is in good to very good condition with a few small marks, there is an “S” mark visible. The frame is in very good condition, it is a mostly gray patina with scattered surface rust. The smooth walnut grips are in good condition showing some light dings and scratches with finish wear, no cracks or chips. There is a faint cartouche visible on the left panel along with the large stamped initials “L.H.C.”. The barrel, frame, cylinder and trigger guard are all matching, the iron grip strap has no number visible. The action works fine holding on half and full cock.

Serial # 61182. 12 ga hammer fired double barrel shotgun with 30” Damascus barrels. The bores are poor, dirty and rusty. Made in Belgium. The metal finish on the barrels is a dark brown patina with moderate to heavy rust. The receiver, hammers and rigger guard are a rusty brown patina as well. The checkered walnut forearm and matching butt stock are in fair condition showing wear to the checkering, scattered dings and scratches and heavy finish wear. There is a small blob of putty/epoxy on the right side of the butt. Plastic butt plate. The action is not complete. The right hammer works, the left hammer is missing and the extractor is missing.

The matte black metal finish on the receiver is excellent as well showing no wear. The gray and tan composite stock with black spider webbing and an adjustable comb is in excellent condition showing little to no use. Sling swivel studs. Black rubber recoil pad. Made without sights. Serial # 178444. .45-70 Govt. caliber single shot rifle with a 24” barrel. The bore condition is unknown. Appears to be some sort of display gun with the breech bolted shut and the lock work removed. The barrel has been drilled and tapped at the muzzle to attach a display bayonet. The rifle was made in 1882. The breech block is marked 1873. The metal finish on the barrel was in the white but has taken on a brown patina with scattered patches of surface rust. The receiver, breech block and lock plate are a cleaned gray patina. The sights have been removed. The plain walnut stock is in fair condition, it has been shortened and refinished with large dings on the fore end and stress cracks on the left side. There is a faint mostly illegible SWP cartouche on the left side. The swivels and the cleaning rod are missing. The action does not work. Includes the fake bayonet in a leather scabbard.

Serial # NSN. .50-70 Center Fire caliber single shot rifle with a 36” barrel. The bore is very good to excellent, mostly clean and shiny with strong rifling. The receiver is marked only with a “B”. The upper tang has a 3-line Remington marking with the last patent date of Nov. 7th, 1871. The barrel is marked with an “S”, the barrel bands and ladder style rear sight are marked with a “B”. The metal finish on the barrel, barrel bands and the receiver is a cleaned gray patina with scratches and scattered light surface rust. The markings are strong. The hammer and breech block are a bare gray patina. The butt plate is a brownish gray patina with unit markings. The walnut stock and forearm are in good to very good condition showing scattered light dings and scratches. There 2 illegible cartouches on the left side of the butt. The action works correctly, going to half-cock when the breech is closed and is tight. Includes the ramrod and a leather sling.

Serial # 3929. Approx. .32 caliber centerfire miniature musket with a 28” barrel. The bore is very good, mostly clean with strong rifling with some light rust. Made in Belgium. The metal finish on the barrel/receiver, the trigger guard and the barrel bands is a rusty brown patina. The full length hardwood stock is in good condition with some dings, scratches, soiling and finish wear. Fixed sights. Rusty steel butt plate. The action works fine. Includes a steel cleaning rod. Made in 1863. 6 shot cylinder with a 3-screw frame. The metal finish on the barrel is a rusty brown patina with a covering of light pitting. The barrel markings are mostly illegible. The cylinder is a smooth brown patina with light surface rust and scattered light dings. The markings are worn, but the patent dates and serial number are visible. The brass trigger guard is in fair to good condition with dings and scratches, there is an “H” mark visible. The frame is mostly a gray patina with scattered surface rust. The smooth walnut grips are in fair condition showing dings and scratches. There is a chip missing from the left panel as well as being cracked. The barrel, frame, cylinder, trigger guard and rear grip strap are all matching. The action works fine holding on half and full cock.

Serial # NSN. .54 caliber black powder percussion pistol with an 8½” smoothbore barrel. The bore is fair to good, smooth with moderate rust. The lock is marked “US H. Aston” and “Middtn Conn” dated 1849. The barrel is also dated 1849 with US/SK/P proofs visible. The metal finish on the barrel is a cleaned gray patina with a covering of moderate pitting. The lock plate and hammer are a dark gray patina with older cleaned surface rust. The brass back strap, barrel band, side plate, pommel and trigger guard are in good condition, they dull with some minor dings and scratches with heavier dings on the pommel cap. The plain walnut stock is in good condition showing some light dings and scratches with a crack through the grip. There 2 fairly clear cartouche on the left side. The cleaning rod is present. The action works fine, it holds on half and full cock and the spring action is strong.

This is an 1870/87 rifle that was converted during WWI to use the 6.5x52MM service ammunition by soldering a liner in the original barrel. Made at the Terni Arsenal in 1890. The metal finish on the barrel, receiver and magazine housing is in fair condition, it is brown patina with scattered light to moderate surface rust. The original military stock is numbered to the gun and is in fair to good condition showing numerous dings and impressions from many years of use. There are faint cartouches on the left side with strong mostly legible cartouches on the right side. Original military sights. The cleaning rod is present. The action seems to work, but is a little sluggish. Includes a leather sling.

The receiver has been cleaned to bare metal with scattered pitting. The trigger guard is worn to bare metal with dings and scratches. The barrel band is the correct carbine type. R Serial # P1737. 7.35mm Carcano caliber bolt action rifle with a 21” barrel. The bore is very good, clean with strong rifling. Italian military rifle made at the Terni Arsenal and dated 1939. The rifle is “SA” marked indicating that it was supplied to Finland to aid in their war against Russia during the Winter War. Original fixed military sights. The arsenal finish on the barrel, receiver and magazine is in fair condition showing muzzle wear and edge wear, thinning and scratches with scattered light surface rust. The original military stock and hand guard is in very good condition showing some minor marks from use. The tock is numbered to the gun and has a 1939 dated cartouche on the left side of the butt. Possibly an authentic sniper rifle. The receiver is marked “T”, the butt socket “TR”. Correct looking scope mounts are attached to the receiver and a cheek rest is attached to the comb. Detachable 10 round magazine. The blued metal finish on the barrel is in good condition showing light wear. The black finish on the receiver is in good condition showing edge wear, thinning and scratches with some light surface rust. The walnut forearm, hand guards and butt stock are in very good condition with some dings and scratches with finish wear. The bolt and magazine are numbered to the receiver. Original military sights. R Serial # 5404d. 9mm Luger caliber semi auto pistol with a 4” barrel. The bore is very good, mostly clean with good rifling with some fouling in the grooves. “G” code on the receiver indicating it was made in 1935. The Toggle is marked S/42 indicating Mauser manufacture. 154 and S92 proof marks on the right side of the frame along with the letters “E.C. C.S.A.” Appears to be all matching including aluminum bottom magazine, but it has probably been re-numberd after it has been re-worked. This gun is what is called a Vopo Luger. It was acquired by the East Germans after WWII and re-worked for the East German Volkpolizei, or “Peoples Police”. The black metal finish on the gun is an arsenal re-finish and is generally in very good condition showing light wear with some light scratches. Many of these had re-numbered parts. The grips were replaced with the distinctive East German plastic grips, which are in very good condition. The magazines were re-numbered to match the frame number. The action works fine. This is a subcompact semi auto pistol made with a die-cast frame and slide. 6 shot detachable magazine. The chrome finish on the alloy slide is in condition, it is dull showing light scuffs and scratches. The chrome finish on the alloy frame is in very good condition showing light dulling with some light scuffs. The plain walnut grips are in good condition showing some light dings with finish wear. The front hammer is then closed loading the cartridge on the lifter into the chamber. The nickel finish on the barrel and magazine tube is in fair condition showing flaking nickel. The nickel finish on the frame is in fair condition as well, also with flaking nickel and scattered scratches. The plain rosewood grips are in fair condition showing scratches and finish wear. Both barrels are choked Full. The metal finish on the barrels is a dull grayish-brown patina that looks like an older cold blue that has again worn. The forearm lug has been repaired by soldering.
