6 Meet the Consignor! Gord Wood
Gord Wood was born in Owen Sound and moved to Manitoulin Island when he was about two where he lived with his older brother Garth and parents for about the next twenty years. Gord’s mother was a collector of beautiful things and so Gord got the collecting bug early in life. He worked for The Ministry of Transport buying properties for highways and would collect things on his travels, eventually settling in the London area, and now in St Thomas. Gord loves art and still enjoys having beautiful things with meaning and memories of friends and family around him.
