born in Montreal, Quebec. He studied with Edmond Dyonnet at the Monument National, Montreal; and also at l”Ecole des Beaux-Arts, Montreal. He also did landscape painting with Maurice Cullen in Montreal. Working in oil and watercolor, his subjects include landscape, urban scenes, farm scenes with buildings, figures, portraits, and still life. He painted in the Laurentians, Eastern Townships, and Ste. Agathe areas of Quebec. He exhibited with the RCA in 1935-1951.
