Lead Cally Krallman "Abundance on the Prairie"
Description
"I have been painting in the Midwest, plein air and studio, for 28 years. My work has been featured in over 65 solo and group exhibits, both nationally and internationally, including The Salon International and Art in the Embassies Program-both in Tbilisi, Georgia, and Moscow, Russia. I typically paint the prairie, and I especially love the poignant sunsets and sunrises that define it. Growing up on a farm in northwest Kansas gave me a unique perspective on the energy of the landscape. I am a fourth-generation farmer, so it may be in my DNA! I paint in both acrylics and oils. I received a BFA in 1981 from Washburn University, Topeka, KS, and a WU Fellow Award in 2015 in Topeka, KS. I am a Signature member of American Women Artists, an associate member of Oil Painters of America, National Oil and Acrylic Painters Society, and the DAR National Women Art Award 2021." Acrylic on Canvas. Framed, 30.75H x 30.75W. Cally Krallman has been painting for 28 years. Her art has been in 65 solo/group shows, including the Salon International Juried Show and Art in the Embassies Program—Moscow, Russia, Tbilisi, Georgia. She is a signature member of American Women Artists and an associate member of OPA and NOAPS. In 2021, Cally received a National Women in the Arts Award from DAR (Daughters of the American Revolution).
