The colors are fantastic, and 2-dimensional paintings fail to do justice to the scenes effectively!" Oil. Framed, 30.75H x 42.75W. Virginia Grass Simmons is a member of Oil Painters of America. She has spent her life as a teacher and consultant for Wichita Public Schools. Virginia has taught oil painting at Mark Arts in Wichita for 14 years. Virginia paints en plein air in different areas of the country; however, they always love returning home to paint Kansas's beautiful Flint Hills and prairie. Mary has exhibited in many juried shows and was selected as the winner of the 2016 Symphony in the Flint Hills competition with her painting, ""Flint Hills Glory."" She is represented by Beauchamp Gallery, Topeka, and Strecker Nelson West Gallery, Manhattan.
