"By incorporating written language into my visual compositions, I aim to merge the linguistic and the visual realms. I seek to invite the viewer to explore the connection between the visual aesthetics and the underlying narrative conveyed by words, thereby stimulating a dialogue between the seen and the spoken. In "Breathe," I intend to evoke the sensation of deep breathing. To me, the Flint Hills evoke a profound sense of relaxation and tranquility, where one can catch their breath and become acutely aware of being alive." Mixed Media (Acrylic and Bass Wood on Panel). Framed, 25.5H x 25.5W. Clive Fullager settled in and fell in love with the Flint Hills in 1988. The prairie and the Kansas landscape continue to inspire his art. Although he has no formal training, his art can be seen in several collections and museums, and he is represented by the Strecker-Nelson-West Gallery.
