Description
"Have you been to the Shamrock Cafe? It is always open but not necessarily known for exceptional service. Last spring, I watched distant prairie burns from this overlook in Wabaunsee County. The most unexpected residents of the Flint Hills, " the five Shamrock Farms camels, “ are partners in weed control since they love nibbling on cedar saplings. As an homage to the camels and the cafe, the felted smoke in this piece contains a bit of their hair." Fabric. Unframed, 18H x 24W. Kristine Luber has been showing her award-winning fabric artwork since 2009. Best known for her fabric skyscapes and landscapes of the Flint Hills, her work has been featured in Visions of the Flint Hills (KCMO), Kansas Through the Eyes of an Artist (Newton) and at the Kansas Statehouse gift shop.
