Our July Antiques, Decorative Arts, F14 Tomcat Ejector Seat and More Auction features some really great things! First of all yes, we are selling an F14 Tomcat Fighter Jet Ejector Seat and an L-1011 Flight Recording Box. In addition to that we are offering a really nice selection of antique country furniture and accessories. Several early cabinets, tables, spool cabinets and a wonderful Victorian era library table head the list. Other items of note include an 1887 Sterling Silver Chalice that was owned by Saint Juliani Genomanensis. There is a nice group of finely executed antique watercolors by recognized artists, mirrors, antique portraits, a photo album full of CDVs of Civil War Generals and two images of Abraham Lincoln, Native American beadwork, fine china, hooked rugs, and much more.
1 Bidding Information
Bidding is pretty simple, particularly if you've bid in an online auction before, but here's a quick rundown on some features that may be unfamiliar: Each lot in the auction is scheduled to close 20 seconds apart. For example, Lot 1 is scheduled to close at 7:00.00 pm central time. Lot 1a is scheduled to close at 7:00:20, Lot 2 is scheduled to close at 7:00:40, Lot 3 is scheduled to close at 7:01:00, Lot 4 is scheduled to close at 7:01:20. Soft Close The auction software has a "soft close" feature so that if a lot is bid on in the final two minutes before that particular lot is scheduled to close, that lot extends for another two minutes. For example, say Lot 10 has one minute left before it closes and a bid is placed on it: Lot 10's time will extend to three minutes. Then if Lot 10 ticks back down to thirty seconds remaining and another bid is placed, then Lot 10 will extend to two and a half minutes. As long as active bidding is occurring in that final two minute window, it will keep extending that lot's time. This does not affect any other lots in the auction, just that particular lot. High bids and maximum bids: Bidders can place maximum bids which remain secret; the system will only bid up to the competitive bids and show that number as the high bid. For example, if your maximum bid is $100 and the next highest bidder's maximum bid is $50, then you would be the high bidder at $55. If bids go past your maximum, you'll be notified by email that you've been outbid and can then bid again if you choose. If two bidders happen to have the same maximum bid, then the first bidder at that value is the high bidder. There is an 18% buyer's premium on all winning bids

FOR SHIPPING LARGER ITEMS AND FURNITURE, we suggest contacting a freight company like Craters & Freighters, U Ship, or similar. You are responsible for making arrangements to have the furniture/oversize items removed from our office within a week of auction closing. Local Pick Up Our address is 1301 E 12th St., Kansas City, MO 64106. Parking and entrance are located at the back of the building. 1. Pick up is by appointment only. 37 English Georgian Mahogany Dresser
Has a Oetzmann & Co. label on the back, they operated on Hampstead Road in London, England. We can find advertisements going back to 1878, the company went out of business shortly after WWII. There is a piece of trim that has fallen off, but the piece is included. 41 1/4" x 21 1/4" x 58 1/4" tall.

91 Martin Baker GRU-7A Ejection Seat, F-14 Tomcat
This extreme rarity comes complete with logbook. It is man-cave ready with the custom rolling base that has been created for it. As far as we can tell, the ejection seat is complete. The small green oxygen bottle is not part of the seat. It is just accompanying the seat. The seat (including the custom base with wheels) is 29" wide, 36.5" deep, and 56" tall. The buyer is responsible for arranging and securing delivery or shipping for this item.
92 Lockheed L-1011 Flight Recorder - Complete
Appears to be complete. Our client was involved in the investigation of the L1011 windshear crash at Dalls / Fort Worth in 1985 and a friend of his found this flight recorder and thought it would make a fun gift. This recorder still used the magnetic tape reel. 28.25" wide, 13.5" deep, and 14.5" tall. Came from the same consignor as the F14 Tomcat ejector seat.

205 1882 Ada Pullen Ashton Keynes England Sampler
The school of Ashton Keynes was built in 1870 and is a school to this day. An Ada Pullen can be found in the Ashton Keynes 1901 and 1911 census which can be found in the images. It appears Ada had a daughter named Winifred out of wedlock and later married one George Boulton. Strangely there is a discrepancy between the two census with one listing her birth year as 1872 and the other 1873. This piece measures 10¾" tall and 11" wide.

The chalice is French, Sterling Silver and weighs 607 grams. It comes with a custom made case, the second/additional Sterling Silver paten that is 110 grams and a couple of linens. The original paten weighs 83 grams. This Saint was known for handing out the chalice to someone in the congregation after a sermon every once in a while which is how this piece made its way onto the market.
