146 13.5" Blade Knife in Beaded Beaver Skin Sheath
13.5" Blade, 19" OAL Handmade Knife with wire wrapped handle circa 1880 w/Original Beaver Skin Sheath w/beads. Blade shows a stamped name and touch mark but is not legible. Blade shows normal in use patina, no rust. The Sheath is made of fur covered beaver hide with green beaded margins. A piece of green/red skilk ribbon runs along each inside edge of the beaded margins to a 4 piece drop. The red/green ribbon forms a pleasing saw tooth design along both sides. A raw hide belt loop is attached to top. There are a few beads missing and some minor fur loss, otherwise this is a fantastic piece and very rare due to its incredible size.
