Lot # : 1 - 1986 Catalina 25 Sailboat, w/ trailer PLEASE READ

Currently located on Greer’s Ferry Marina. From the owner : The boat needs cleaned! These pictures are pre-winter pictures, and it stayed on the lake all winter in its stall. It needs to be scrubbed and washed as it’s dirty but the pictures show the potential it has after cleaning. She is a swing keel with traditional layout. She has 3 sails: main, jib, and Genoa. They are the original sails but were professionally refurbished a few years ago and are in excellent condition. The boat is in very good condition for its age. The hull is in very good shape. It will need to be cleaned while trailered as it has been in the water for the last 3 years. The running rigging will need to be replaced but still has enough life left for a few more seasons. The electrical system will also need work because the navigation lights don’t work. We just used a solar powered light that we ran up the halyard for night sailing and it worked fine. She also comes with sail covers, the original cover for the deck, the original pop-up vinyl enclosure that snaps to the pop up to make it more weather resistant if you’re sleeping on the boat, and a Bimini. She also has self-tailing winches. The interior cushions are still in very good condition. We’ve slept 4 people in there. We replaced the old toilet with a new cassette toilet. The fresh water supply system works well but we never really used it. It is missing the stove but Walmart sells a Colman camp stove that would fit. One of the windows has a minor crack but it hasn’t leaked as far as I’m aware. We replaced the old wooden motor mount with a plastic one from Catalina Direct. We replaced the batteries a few years ago so they should still be good. We also ordered a new keel turning ball kit, pivot pin, and keel cable assembly but haven’t replaced it yet. There is one piece of decorative teak (a window eyebrow) that broke off but I’m fairly certain it’s still in the boat. She handles like a dream in the water. She’s also set up for a solo sailor. She’s in a 14’ x 28’ slip at Eden Isle Marina and it rents for $2100/yr. If the buyer wishes to keep her there, they would need to contact the marina to rent the slip.
