Value $200 Arcata Main Street is a business membership organization operating in downtown Arcata. Working with community partners to create a vibrant downtown is our goal. The AMS board of directors, committees, and members provide numerous festive experiences on and around the Plaza and happily partners with the City of Arcata, Arcata Chamber of Commerce, HSU, and others to allow visitors and locals enjoy Arcata’s independent businesses and lively downtown. AMS is not funded by taxes like many other “Main Street” organizations but instead by our annual Oyster Festival fundraiser and by our members. Oyster Festival has become a significant source of revenue that we use to reinvest in the community year round to promote Arcata’s identity, economy, and cultural spirit. We are excited to shine light on the offerings of our members and downtown community, hope to include you. We have options for all sizes and budgets!
