Charles or "Buddy" as most people knew him was a very well know member of the local community. He built some the best homes on Delmarva and was loved by all. He had a music career for 30 years and he really enjoyed playing for different organizations, the Moose Lodge, Willards Community Lions Club, Deers Head Hospital, Holly Center and others. His band name was Buddy Wilkins and the Country Playboys. He and his wife Gertrude traveled all over the country collecting antiques and whatever else they could find.
