**ANDREW WILSON & CO ONLINE AUCTION DECEMBER 3rd-4th** LOT NUMBER: 6 NAME: Rex BREED: QH SEX: Gelding HEIGHT (Approx) 15h AGE: 10 DESCRIPTION (as provided by vendor) You may recognise Rex from the sale 6/11 lot 52. He was listed as a ‘confidence builder, ridden by kids, good ground manners, you won’t regret buying this fella, the kids can pull out of paddock after 12mths and he is ok’ etc Pics with kids on him even!! I’ve had him for a few weeks and I can accept a certain amount of nerves in a new place but this horse is not a kids horse & not a confidence builder This was ALL false information I am selling him on as he is not what I thought I was buying or remotely close! Here is the real description: 15hh 10yr old as per previous ad - I can not confirm this but certainly isn’t any older. QH - as per previous ad but I can not confirm this Rex has a kind eye and wants to please however is nervy and unsure He really wants to please and joins up quite well I am listing as unbroken or at the very least very green broken Can pick up front feet but haven’t attempted back. Previous ad said he floats fine but who knows - he came on a truck to me and did walk off fine so I assume he loaded ok I have gained his trust and he now let’s me catch him but best done with food I’ve washed and put rugs on/off him and although nervy as long as you are calm and not throwing rugs over him quickly he is fine He leads fine and isn’t in your face Ties up and will stand pretty well I haven’t got on his back as he is far to green for me But I have had a saddle on him and lunged did not buck or carry on He needs a very experienced gentle handler. Someone that has the time to work and show him what is required. He needs regular & consistent training I don’t have that time and so he finds himself in the sale again. He does have a scar on one of his front legs that doesn’t affect him and an old injury to one side of his neck again doesn’t affect him - just staying to be honest Such a devastating experience for him & myself.
