Medium: Hand painted limited edition cel. Condition: Very Good. Signature: Lower center. Size: 10 1/2 x 13 inches. New Frame: 19 x 23 inches. This Chuck Jones Daffy Duck imagery is a hand-painted limited edition cel, entitled: DAFFY CAVALIER. It is hand-signed by the artist Chuck Jones. A sealed COA comes with the artwork. It is a fantastic fun collectible and hand-me-down piece for children of every age! You can expect this piece, as similar Chuck Jones hand-signed pieces, to continue to increase in value well above their original retail price. Chuck Jones was an American animated filmmaker and cartoonist, best known for his work with Warner Bros. Cartoons on the Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies shorts. He wrote, produced, and/or directed many classic animated cartoon shorts starring Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Wile E. Coyote and the Road Runner, Pepé Le Pew, Porky Pig, Michigan J. Frog, the Three Bears, and a slew of other Warner characters. Jones was nominated for eight Academy Awards, winning three times. He received the Honorary Academy Award in 1996 for his iconic work in the animation industry. Jones also received the Golden Plate Award of the American Academy of Achievement and many other awards.
