As of the Thursday following the sale any items not paid for and/or picked up revert to ownership of Silver Lake Auction LLC as per the auction terms and conditions. House bidders at the live auction must pay for their items on auction night then pick them up or arrange pick up by the follwing Wednesday.

An Awesome August Auction in Frost features a wide array of good used furniture, old antique toys, U.S. silver dollars and other silver coins, a 14k gold necklace, interesting old foreign coins and currency, over 50 pieces of artwork and prints, western and farm items galore, a pair of vintage Gene Autry cap pistols, primitives, perfume bottles, dolls, toy cars Matchbox, Corgi, Hot Wheels, Midgetoy, old hunting knives, an 8 foot long table full of old jewelry, a collection of awesome mostly sports trading cards (over 400), antique wine or cider press, old axes, a rare lumberjack's log marking hammer, antique white wicker furniture, parson's chairs, 7 old rocking chairs, numerous side tables, chest of drawers, drop front desk, bow and arrow set, old store displays, primitive boxes, autographed photos, a commode seat autographed by Jay Leno, old iron plows, old blacksmith tool, lots of boxes of crochet and linens, a beautiful king comforter and quilt stand, pictures of Robert Redford, Marilyn Monroe, Babe Ruth, Lou Gehrig, the Chicken Ranch in La Grange, the Alamo, antique victorian pictures, lots of lamps, glass, pottery, porcelain, old green depression glass, old sewing items, dress forms, a great old sewing machine in its oak cabinet, 10 foot medieval axe (probably a stage prop), old sword, old machete, primitive wooden folding drying rack, 2 old train lots, one is Marx, one Lionel, old Marx western toys, an old Jewel T jar made in 3 Rivers Texas, way too much to list here. Absentee bidding will be done through Hi Bid beginning around August 10th and will conclude on auction day, August 24th, at 4pm Central Time. The live auction will start at 6pm. In case of TIE bids, live auction bidders take precedence over internet absentee bidders. Please read terms and conditions before bidding. All items sold as is where is with all faults and with no warranties express or implied. Buyer is responsible for inspection of items prior to bidding. We may or may not inspect or call damage or condition of items. Please call us at Silver Lake prior to auction day if you are entering an absentee bid and have a question about an item. Buyers are encouraged to closely physically inspect items prior to the auction. By placing a bid, bidder signifies that they have examined the items to their satisfaction, or that they have chosen not to personally examine them. There will be a 10 per cent buyers premium added to the total of items purchased for this auction. There will be Texas Sales Tax of 7.75% unless the buyer has a valid resale tax certificate on file with us. Methods of payment include cash, check, or credit card with valid ID. There is a $35 charge for returned checks. All items won by auction floor bidders must be paid for the day of the sale and prior to removal of the items from the auction premises. Any items left at the auction past the Wednesday following auction day are thereby abandoned and revert to ownership of Silver Lake Auction LLC. Absentee bidders will be sent an email the day following the auction if they win items. Payment must be received within 3 days after the winning email is sent and arrangements must be made for pickup, shipping, or delivery of items. If the foregoing is not complete by Thursday following the auction Silver Lake Auction retains the property and it will be resold or returned to the consignor. Buyers are responsible for packing and loading items and encouraged to bring their own packing materials and loading help. All merchandise not removed from the premises by Wednesday for floor bidders and Thursday for internet bidders after auction completion is considered abandoned and becomes the property of Silver Lake Auction LLC unless other arrangements are made to store the items. By placing a bid through this website or at the live auction, you are entering into a legally binding contract and agree to follow through with the purchase of the item within 3 days should you win the item. Bidder expressly agrees not to stop payment, dispute or contest this transaction. Silver Lake Auction LLC and its consignors reserve the right to remove any and all items from a sale at any time, up until the time the item is sold. All announcements made at the live auction supercede all previous announcements online or offline. Live floor bids have priority over absentee bidders in the case of a TIE BID. For example if an item starts at $5.00, you bid $7.50 absentee, and no other absentee bids are left. The auctioneer will ask for $7.50 to open. If there is a floor bid for $7.50, the absentee bidder (you) will not win the item. If no one at the live auction enters a bid, you will win the item for $5.00. All sales are final with no returns. Anyone who is age 18 or over may bid, however Silver Lake Auction LLC reserves the right to reject a bid from any bidder. Workers at the auction as well as the auctioneer himself may bid. The highest bidder acknowledged by the auctioneer shall be the purchaser. In the event of a dispute between bidders, or if the auctioneer doubts the validity of a bid, the auctioneer shall have sole discretion to name the successful bidder, reopen the bidding between two tie bidders, or resell the item. Bidders are responsible for their own merchandise once they are recognized as the purchaser. The auctioneer may at his discretion combine or divide lots during the sale. Anyone entering the auction premises for any reason does so at their own risk. Neither Silver Lake Auction LLC nor Garitty Pace LLC (owner of the premises) are responsible for accidents, nor is the auctioneer. If you are unable to attend the auction you may leave an absentee bid online with Hi Bid or by calling us. Shipping may typically be arranged on smaller items by Silver Lake Auction LLC at actual postage rates plus a fee for packing materials and labor. Silver Lake Auction LLC makes no warranty with respect to shipping items. It is recommended that shipping for larger items be arranged with third party shipping companies by the buyer.

Items should be picked up the night of the auction if possible. If not possible, buyers must arrange with auctioneer for storage and pickup. Online bid winners may pick up items by appointment or make arrangements for shipping or storage. Silver Lake Auction LLC may be able to ship your items if they are not overly large or heavy. Our typical charge depends on how big the package is and consists of actual postage plus a fee of usually $1 to $5 for packing materials and labor. Any items bought by live floor bidders and left more than 72 hours after the auction closed are considered abandoned and become the property of Silver Lake Auction, LLC. Internet absentee bidders will be sent an email the day after the auction notifying them of their winning bid and requesting payment. Once the email is sent, absentee bidders have 72 hours to make payment for their merchandise. Any merchandise not paid for after the 72 hours becomes the property of Silver Lake Auction LLC.
