PAYMENT is cash or cheque made payable to The Douglas Auction House Limited. Lots are to be picked up by 4pm on the Monday following the Sale, unless otherwise arranged with staff. A fee of £1 per day per lot will be charged thereafter. If any lots are not collected by the next Sale then they will be deemed unwanted and sold at that Sale with proceeds to go to The Douglas Auction House Limited. INSPECTION - Ample opportunity is given for inspection to each purchaser and by making a bid for a Lot acknowledges that he has satisfied himself fully before bidding by inspection or otherwise as to all the Sale Conditions, the physical condition of and description of the Lot including but not restricted to whether the Lot is damaged or has been repaired. UNSOLD GOODS - We regret that any unsold goods that are not collected within 7 days of the sale will be donated to charity INDEMNITY - The Vendor shall duly indemnify The Douglas Auction House Limited against any claim in connection with any goods sold by The Douglas Auction House Limited on the Vendor’s behalf. MOTOR VEHICLES - All Motor Vehicles and Agricultural Tractors, which, by law, require to be licensed, are sold as seen and without any warranty whatsoever. Purchasers should satisfy themselves completely as to the condition and road worthiness or otherwise of the vehicle which on the fall of the hammer becomes their sole responsibility.
