TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR BIDDING ONLINE
This is not an absolute auction. Some items sell with reserve or minimum bids. Such items will not be considered sold until reserve bid is confirmed.
Acceptance of a high bid is a legal and binding contract enforceable in a court of law.
PAYMENT- All online purchases must be settled for in full on the next business day. Payment may be made by wire transfer. Other forms of payment may be made with prior arrangements with the auction company.
Payments not received by the Wednesday following the auction are subject to a $100 per day late payment fee.
There is a 10% buyer's premium added to every purchase. A 3% convenience fee will be added for credit card purchases.
7% Sales Tax is collected on everything unless a valid sales tax exemption certificate is on file UPON REGISTRATION. Sales Tax is collected on all titled vehicles unless a current auto dealer's license in on file UPON REGISTRATION.
ALL ITEMS ARE SOLD AS IS! ALL SALES ARE FINAL! There are no warranties expressed, written or implied, as to the merchantability or fitness for use of any item in the auction. It is the sole responsibility of the bidder to inspect each item and bid accordingly. IF YOU ARE UNSURE OF THE CONDITION OF AN ITEM, DO NOT BID ON IT!
Items may be removed until two hours after the auction and from 9:00 to 4:00 Monday thru Friday.
Items left on the auction lot after 10 days are subject to a $10.00 per day/per item storage fee.
TITLE POLICY
Garner and Associates Auctioneers will collect all title fees and process all titles. If purchases are paid for by a personal or company check, titles will not be processed for 10 business days.
Titles will only be put into the name of the person(s) who is the high bidder on that item. No exceptions!
If you purchase a titled vehicle, you must see the title clerk before you leave the auction TODAY.
IT IS VERY IMPORTANT THAT WE HAVE YOUR CORRECT ADDRESS FOR YOUR TITLE WORK OR YOU WILL NOT GET YOUR TITLE!
There are three options for processing your vehicle title.
1. TITLE ONLY - NO TAG …… $153.25
2. TRANSFER TAG …… $5.00 to $150.00.
3. NEW TAG …… $299.10- Required Documents: Drivers Lic. And Proof of Insurance.
Title fees include the State of Florida title processing fees plus $75.00 Notary and Administrative fee.
TAG TRANSFERS AND NEW TAGS will be charged an additional $20.00 online processing fee.
DEALER TITLE FEE….. $20.00
OUT OF STATE TITLE FEE ….. $75.00
BOAT TITLES … $12.50
Trailers under 2000 lb … up to $75.00 and $20.00 Notary & Administrative fee. Tags must be purchased to transfer ownership.
Due to Florida law requiring online registration, Temporary tags for new tag purchases and tag transfers will not be done on auction day. You will have to return on Monday after the auction to complete the transaction.
Once your title is processed, only the registration will be sent to you by our company within 30 days. The title will be sent to you by mail from Tallahassee approximately 2 to 3 weeks after we process the paperwork at the tag office.
