one piece of rosewood, depicts winged demon-like figure with another, more normal figure riding on it's shoulders. This all atop a turtle being strangled by another fierce headed snake, all covered by the tail feather plume of the big one. 17.5" x 10"w x 8"d. No breaks or noticeable repairs. Full story of Garuda's quest to obtain the waters of immortality in order to free his enslaved mother from the Nagas.
