Winchester Model 70 bolt action rifle, .30/06 caliber, Serial #167321. The rifle is in very good overall condition with a 24” barrel with a hooded front and plugged rear sights. The metal surfaces retain the majority of their blue finish with small scratches and wear at the muzzle. The trigger has been fitted with a trigger shoe during the period of use. The smooth wood stock is in good condition with mars and compressions consistent with field use. The butt stock has been shortened slightly and a ventilated rubber recoil pad added providing a 13 ¾” LOP. The rifle is topped with a one-piece Redfield mount and a Leupold Vari-X III variable power 3.5 x 10 x 40 scope with clear, crisp optics. The bore is good, the action crisp and markings are sharp on this nice Model 70 manufactured in 1950. Est.: $600-$1,200. (C+R).
