Description
Mr. Kormann, a highly skilled German metal worker, moved to the USA and for years worked in industrial maintenance and design. His interests changed and he moved to our area and he developed an interest in a vineyard and winery, but when he discovered the rising cost of the oak barrels to age his wine he knew he could do better. His idea of a barrel to bottle operation was formed. He designed, engineered and built the quality and affordable equipment needed to produce his own oak barrels. Mr. Kormann's interests have changed again, and this barrel to bottle set up can be yours. Everything is ready to go and some is in new, never used condition. In some cases the equipment is better than new due to upgrades designed and installed by Mr. Kormann. This equipment includes: Delta 20" Bandsaw designed to turn white oak trees into material for barrel staves; Custom built Coopers automatic stave making machine; Delta DC-580 20" wide planer - NEW Never used. Use of the forklift is reserved until 12:30 PM on Saturday July 6, 2024 after which the buyer may pick it up. 5. Payments shall be by Visa, MasterCard, Discover or American Express. The credit card used to register with HiBid.com will be billed for your purchase amount within 24 hours of the close of the auction. ALL invoices under $400.00 will automatically be billed to your credit card. There is a 3% surcharge for payment by credit card. Buyers who anticipate spending more than $400.00 and wish to pay by cash or check at pick up must notify us of this in the "Notes to Auctioneer" block when registering to bid or they may email us at info@zettauction.com PRIOR to 12 Noon the day the auction closes. All sales are final, there shall be no refunds or returns for any reasons. There shall be no "charge backs" or refusals of payment for any reason. There shall be a $35 reprocessing fee for any "insufficient funds" or "expired credit card" encountered when your credit card is processed.
