Terms and Conditions - By participating in this Auction each bidder agrees to the following. REGISTRATION: This auction is open to Ontario residents only. A valid credit or debt card is required to register. All bidders must be of legal age to bid. If you intend to pay for your order in cash, a credit/debit card must still be on file. By registering for this auction you agree to receive emails sent to registered bidders for the auction you register as well as any future auctions. PAYMENT: There is no cost to register for our auction (Up to $1 may be charged to validate your card by Auctionflex the first time you register). We accept all major credit cards as well as cash payment upon pick up. (If paying by cash please note in registration). Invoices along with payment instructions will be sent out the night of or morning after the auction closes. Winning bids are required to be paid in full within 24hrs of recieving invoice, unless cash payment was mentioned at registration. All payments must be received no later than closing time on the final pick up day following the auction otherwise the credit card on file will automatically be charged. In the event payment is not received for a winning bid during the allotted time and card on file can not be charged, we will charge a 10% restocking fee (or $10, whichever is greater) and your account will be suspended. All restocking fees along with a $25 admin fee must be paid in full to reinstate a suspended account. Items will be considered abandoned and placed back on the auction block for future sale. By registering for this auction, you give Robin Hood’s Liquidation Inc. permission to charge these fees to the credit card you have registered with. BUYERS PREMIUM AND HST: ALL winning bids will be charged a 10% Buyer's Premium and 13% HST REGARDLESS of the item. If an item is in any part tax exempt, bidders may keep their invoice and claim the exemption on their income tax. Full buyer's premium and full HST will be charged on all items. Bidders should factor this into their bid price. REVIEW YOUR BIDS: During an auction you can check the status of your bids at anytime. Note that no bids can be withdrawn after they are placed for any reason including accidental bids and bidding on the wrong item. Be careful when bidding, ensure you have selected the correct item before clicking "bid". All items are sold as is, where is, with all faults with no guarantees that any item is fit for a particular use. All bids are legally binding and enforceable in Ontario, Canada. BIDDING NOTIFICATIONS: You can choose to be notified by e-mail during the auction if you have been outbid. MISSING/DAMAGED LOT: Unfortunately with large online sales, items can go missing or be damaged from time to time. In the event that an item you had a successful bid on can't be located, your sole remedy is a refund of that item. No additional costs or expenses whether direct or indirect can be claimed for that item. No other items from your bill may be canceled as a result of the missing or damaged item. SITE OUTAGE: In the event of an outage that affects bidding at any time during the closing of a sale, Robin Hood’s Liquidation Inc. at our discretion may extend the auction in it's entirety or in part (including lots that may have already closed) for a period of up to 24 hours. This decision will be made based on the severity of the outage. Previously closed items may be extended as there is no 100% way to determine that they closed prior to the outage and that all bidders who intended to bid were able to bid . This is an extremely rare occurrence but in the event that it happens we need to be fair to all bidders (including those who may not have been able to bid). CLAIMS/RETURNS: All items are FINAL SALE and sold AS IS, WHERE IS. However we may accept returns at our discretion if we have made an error in the listing. To be considered for a return, customers must email info@robinhoodsauction.com WITHIN 24 HRS of receiving the item. A detailed description of the reason for requesting the return including any pictures will be required. If approved, the item MUST be returned to our Burlington facility at the buyers expense by mail or in person by appointment only. A bidding credit will be placed on your account to be used in future auctions. (No cash refunds will be given in any circumstance). Stuff 4 My Life WILL NOT accept any returns after the 24 HR window required to report any issues, defects or errors. There will be NO EXCEPTION to this. AUCTION RECORDS: In the unlikely event of a dispute, you agree to accept as true the information that we have in our records. SOFT CLOSE: Items close at regular intervals. To prevent a bidder from 'sniping', all bids made in the last minute of the auction will force an item to stay open for an additional 1 minute. This will continue until all bidding has ceased. STRATEGY: Bidding is similar to Ebay type auctions, we recommend that ALL BIDDERS put in their maximum bid when placing a bid online. This does not mean you will have to pay the amount you bid; you only pay one bid more than the next highest bid, and only up to your maximum bid. The software system will play out the bids as you would at a live auction and only uses the funds required to beat out the under-bidder at the prescribed bid increment. CATALOG ERRORS & OMISSIONS: If a description does not match a picture in a lot, the description takes precedence. All items are sold on an 'as is, where is' basis, with all faults. In the event an item was listed in error or an item can't be located during pick up for any reason, the bidder agrees that their maximum recourse is a full refund of the item in question and that all other items bid on remain payable.
