Welcome to Proverbs Online Auction. By participating in our auctions, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read it carefully. 1. Registration 1.1 Information Accuracy Participants must ensure the accuracy of their credit card information. The billing address must match the address on file for successful payment processing.When you register for our auctions on HiBid, we'll temporarily charge $1 to your credit card to verify it. Don't worry, this is just to check everything's in order, and we'll refund it after the auction ends. 1.2 HiBid Reputation Registration approval depends on your HiBid reputation score. Negative feedback from other auctioneers may result in a denial of bidding privileges unless a $300 CAD refundable deposit is provided. This deposit will be applied to your invoice if you win any bids. 1.3 Shipping Instructions Indicate your payment method (cash or e-transfer) and shipping needs upon registration. Note that requesting shipping does not guarantee automatic item dispatch. Refer to Section 7 for shipping details. 2. Bidding Process 2.1 Final Bids All bids are final. Please review your selections carefully before bidding, as mistakes do not qualify for our Return and Refund Policy. 2.2 Inquiries Use the "Contact Auctioneer" feature for product inquiries. While we aim to respond promptly, weekend queries may be delayed as we are closed on Sundays and Mondays. 2.3 Auction Adjustments We reserve the right to modify the auction inventory to ensure accuracy and prevent errors. 2.4 Item Descriptions Items are described to the best of our ability, with actual photos provided unless items are sealed. Please review all information before bidding. 3. Invoicing 3.1 Invoicing Schedule Invoices are issued within 24 hours post-auction, detailing item descriptions, quantities, and a breakdown of charges, including a 10% buyer's premium, $1 handling fees, transaction fees, and sales tax. 4. Payment 4.1 Payment Deadline Payments are due within 24 hours of auction closure. Failure to settle an invoice may result in item forfeiture and potential bidding restrictions. 4.2 Payment Methods Payments can be made via e-transfer, PayPal (for US customers), or cash upon pickup. Ensure invoice numbers are included in payment notes for proper allocation. 4.3 Cash Payments For cash payments at pickup, exact change is required as we do not provide change. 5. Pickup and Delivery 5.1 Pickup Schedule Items must be picked up from Monday to Sunday, 11:30 PM - 6:30 PM. Alternative arrangements must be made for shipping or special pickup circumstances. 5.2 Pickup Policy Unpaid items are held for three days post-auction, after which they may be restocked. Paid items must be collected within five days to avoid re-auctioning and storage fees.You won't get money back once you invoice get restocked. 5.3 Identity Verification Valid photo ID and the credit card used for payment must be presented at pickup. Failure to verify identity may require alternative payment methods or result in item retention. 6. Shipping 6.1 Shipping Requests Shipping arrangements must be made within one week of auction closure. Late requests may not be honored. We use Beavery for shipping; registration with them is required. 7. Returns, Refunds, and Credits 7.1 Return Policy All sales are final. Returns are only accepted under specific warranty conditions or if an item significantly deviates from its description. 7.2 Warranty and Guarantees We provide you with a 7 DAYS guarantee for the items which bidder can not check in our location, if bidder come to pick up but do not check items, the items will be final sale. We can only honor return and refund policy if the item does not match the description. 7.3 Return Conditions Returns are subject to strict conditions, including item misdescription, malfunction, or incorrect item delivery. Buyer's remorse does not qualify for returns. 8. Abandonment 8.1 Collection Deadline Items must be picked up or apply shipped by 7 days following auction closure. Unclaimed items beyond this period, without prior arrangement, will be considered abandoned. 9. Fraud Prevention 9.1 Verification Requirements A valid photo ID and matching payment card are required for item release. Discrepancies may lead to withheld items until proper verification is provided. 10. Liability 10.1 Indemnity Proverbs Online Auction is not liable for any injuries or damages incurred during auction participation. Bidders agree to indemnify and hold harmless the auction house from any claims or liabilities. By participating in Proverbs Online Auction, you acknowledge and agree to these terms and conditions.
