Description
Fabulous Maud Lewis original painting of one of her most iconic scenes, the pair of Oxen in the tulips. Painted on beaverboard and in wonderful condition. Signed Maud Lewis lower right. Painting measures roughly 12 x 12 inches and with later added pine frame measures 15 1/2 x 15 1/2 overall. One of Mauds most loved images. Some very faint pencil writing on back. Previously authenticated by Alan Deacon. Purchased directly from Maud by the original owner.
