There was a great demand for a taller wider unit for larger logs. With the 17-inch height the splitter can handle longer logs. With a 10-inch diameter the XL splitter can handle wide logs. The included 5.5 LB hammer will be a solid addition to splitting larger logs. XL SAFE WAY TO MAKE KINDLING Stop swinging sharp axes and heavy hammers just to make kindling. We designed this product with safety and efficiency in mind. This is a modern alternative to keep your fingers away from the blade. A round sturdy base plus two mounting holes stability while in action. 5.5 LBS SLEDGE HAMMER INCLUDED We decided to make you the most convenient fire-starting combo available. After much testing the 5.5 LBS hammer is the perfect size for quick easy and efficient kindling splitting. At only a fraction of the cost of a hydraulic or electric splitter we are trying our best to get you burning. EXTREMELY DURABLE STEEL The high carbon steel design allows this kindling splitter and its blade to withstand years of abuse. Capable of bearing heavy loads without breaking. The large carbon content allows for high strength and more shock resistance in comparison to cast iron. Finished in an anti-rust black coating so you can get the most out of your kindling splitter. Recommended log size = 14 height x 7 width. Not recommended for hardwoods can still be used for hardwoods but beware hardwoods will be more difficult to split. Please note this is for kindling and small logs not for large logs. Splitting blade is purposely not razor sharp as this is not necessary to split wood making this very safe for all ages.

Alternate day/time will be based upon availability of staff. We do not have space to store items, so we must move them around which uses labor and increases chances for loss and breakage. Failure to pick up items within 7 days after the auction closing time will result in items being considered abandoned. Abandoned items will become property of the auction company to be resold for storage fees without a refund. Failure to pick up items in a timely manner will result in restricted bidding privileges. Buyers purchasing large or heavy items, MUST bring appropriate vehicles and sufficient help to load. If you are requesting shipping, you are required to make contact via email at Auctions@LutherBros.com to request shipping. $10 handling fee will be added to any items that are shipped. Items will be grouped when applicable for shipping. We are not responsible for any damage or loss incurred during shipping.
