A rare collection of (23) straight uncirculated U.S. 1917 $1 Legal Tender notes with consecutive serial numbers. Key dates like the U.S. 1921 Walking Liberty 50c half dollar coin, U.S. 1869 Indian Head 1c cent coin, U.S. 1867 Indian Head 1c cent coin, U.S. 1899 Morgan $1 Dollar and U.S. 1904-S Morgan $1 Dollar. Photographs of World War II, Korean War & Vietnam War. Including photographs of Winston Churchill and Dwight Eisenhower.
TERMS INFORMATION: This is an ABSENTEE ONLY AUCTION !!!! Absentee bids will be brought to the live sale. The live auction will take place on April 7, 2024 9:00 AM. Bidding on any item indicates the bidder's agreement to be bound by these Terms and Conditions for Bidders. Any rights of bidder under this agreement shall not be assignable and shall only be enforceable by the original buyer. The laws of the state of Ohio shall govern the rights and obligations of the parties. All bidders submit to the personal jurisdiction of the state and federal courts in Ohio. BUYERS PREMIUM: A 23% buyer’s premium will be added to each purchase. CREDIT CARD: There is 3% Credit Card Surcharge for all credit card sales. TAX: All sales are charged Ohio sales tax unless a tax-exempt certificate is provided prior to sale. PAYMENT: Credit cards will ALWAYS be charged at the end of the auction. You must have available balance on your credit card for your online purchases. If your payment is declined at the end of the sale Off Main reserves the right to resell your item. At the conclusion of the auction you will be sent an INVOICE email with a total of the items you won. Buyers will be notified if they have won their respective bids following the live sale. Credit Cards will be charged following the close of the sale unless other arrangements have been made prior to the close of the sale. Cash and wire transfer's are accepted. WARRANTY & CONDITION OF ITEMS SOLD: All items are sold "AS IS, WHERE IS, with NO WARRANTY expressed or implied by the lot number affixed to the item, without any implied or expressed warranty by Off Main LLC. Descriptions are believed to be accurate but not guaranteed. Measurements are written as Width-Depth-Height. When you are not certain of the condition or use of an item please inspect the item or bid accordingly. You are bidding on the described item not the photo. ITEM PICK-UP: Buyer is responsible for their own removal of all items. Please bring needed packing material and boxes, along with assistance to remove heavy items and tools for dismantling. Item Removal: All items must be picked up on the scheduled pick-up date. If other arrangements are necessary, please contact site manager via email at info@mainauctiongalleries,com. Purchases will be reased upon presentation of a paid email receipt. Please ensure that movers or anyone picking up items on your behalf have your paid receipt at the pickup location, no items will be released without a paid email receipt. If your item/s are not removed on scheduled pick-up dates, Off Main reserves the right to resell your items (even if your items are paid in full). SHIPPING: Off Main LLC, does offer shipping. Buyers will pay actual shipping cost and a $10.00 shipping and handling fee per item. For international purchases we do have a list of shippers that our clients have used in the past. PURCHASE PRICE AND PAYMENT. The "Purchase Price" for each lot shall equal the hammer price, buyer's premium, and sales tax if applicable, U.S. bidders may pay with cash, personal check, money order, bank check or wire transfer. Bidders outside the U. S. will be required to pay by wire transfer. Credit cards are accepted on an auction-by-auction basis - please contact the office prior to bidding in the auction to confirm payment options. Bidders unknown to Main Auction Galleries, Inc., may be asked to provide additional personal identity or banking information. Main Auction Galleries, Inc., reserves the right to hold a purchased lot until a check has cleared. A surcharge of 3% will be assessed to all credit card transactions. Buyers who are present at the auction must pay the full Purchase Price at the time of the sale. Buyers who bid by telephone, by internet, or who are absentee bidders will be invoiced within 5 days after the close of the auction and must pay the full Purchase Price for each purchased lot within 14 days after the date of the invoice. No property will be released by Main Auction Galleries, Inc., unless the Purchase Price has been paid in full. Main Auction Galleries, Inc., may impose late charges of 1.5% per month (or the highest interest rate allowed) on any amount owed to Main Auction Galleries, Inc., that remains unpaid after 30 days. Buyer shall be liable for any collection costs or attorney's fees incurred by Main Auction Galleries, Inc., to collect payment, to the extent permitted by law.
SHIPPING. Main Auction Galleries, Inc., does not offer shipping. We do have a list of shippers that our clients have used in the past and will post that list of shippers on the front of the Live Auctioneers invoice. It can also be supplied to bidders who request it in advance of the auction. REMOVAL AND STORAGE OF PROPERTY. If purchased property has not been removed, or Main Auction Galleries, Inc., has not received shipping instructions within 21 days after the auction date, a $10 per item per day storage fee may be charged to the buyer. If the item(s) won are not removed within 60 days of the sale date, we reserve the right to resell the item(s)(this includes items that have been paid for). If purchased property remains in the custody of Main Auction Galleries, Inc., for a period of 60 days following the auction, Main Auction Galleries, Inc., may, at its option, cancel the sale, retaining as liquidated damages any payments made by the buyer, or resell the property at auction or by any other commercially reasonable means, for the account and at the risk of the buyer, and in such event, buyer shall be liable for the payment of all deficiencies plus all of Main Auction Galleries, Inc., costs, including but not limited to storage and costs of both sales. This right of cancellation is in addition to any and all other remedies available to Main Auction Galleries, Inc.
