110) JAPANESE MIDGE PINK SILHOUETTE DRESSED BOX DOLL #1614 • Beautiful HTF doll in her Pink Silhouette Box • The American market Midge was not well received by the Japanese market; accordingly, Mattel produced a special Midge just for the Japanese collectors • She has become known as “Japanese Midge” and unlike the American version has side glancing side eyes and no freckles • Her painted hair and blue band are the same as the American Fashion Queen Barbie and was sold with a brunette flip wig for hair play value • Beautiful mocha brown hair with no rubs on head and blue band in head • Factory face paint is in mint condition and has an extremely sweet and reserved look • She has green at each ear, as shown the in pictures • Body is near mint to mint and includes Japanese New Midge booklet and excellent brunette wig • She comes with her gold Midge embossed black pedestal two-piece stand • Midge comes wearing a ravishing near-mint Jr. Prom gown with long white tricot gloves, white pearl necklace and red OT heels.
