056) ASH BLONDE LONG HAIR AMERICAN GIRL IN MIDNIGHT RED • Silky hair is extra-long and thick in the original factory set • Lovely silver caste highlights in hair • All original face paint is in mint condition, and has nice tan brows, tad of blush on cheeks, brilliant blue eyes with shadow and lovely full red lips • No earring holes at ears • Body is excellent plus, knees hold all poses, hips are nice and tight, arms are a bit darker than torso • Sister in fashion to the doll above, she wears a stunning HTF Midnight Red in excellent plus condition • Outfit label inside in nice condition with minimal fray at edge of label • Satin fabric is exceptionally bright, one pin head rust dot inside lining of coat and some light-yellow spots on white fur collar of long coat • Bodice is a nice bright silver • She comes wearing long white gloves and includes white pearl necklace, silver dimpled clutch and red OT heels • As mentioned above, both Midnight Red and Midnight Pink did not have accessories designated for these elusive mystery items, so it is what collectors often accessorized them with is how they are found • Another interesting factoid is that this gown in the red satin version has been documented NRFP and offered as a packaged item, which included just the gown, OT red heels and pearl drop necklace which came packaged on a Barbie & Stacey pak card • Enjoy adding this doll and perhaps her sister above to your gown collection • Suggested $3295-$3995
