Description
METHOD OF SALE The following procedure will be used today to determine the new owner(s) of the Jacki Miller Property located in Custer County SD. Please read the following procedure carefully, the Auctioneers - Brokers will answer any questions you may have prior to the opening bid. 1. To become a qualified bidder you must register and obtain a bidder's number. Property will be offered as follows: Please refer to the computer screen listing lot numbers, amount bid, bidder #, and "Hold"/"Sold columns throughout the course of the auction. All bids placed will be in US dollars PER ACRE, multiplied by the number of acres in each lot chosen. 2. After opening statements and any questions the Auctioneer will ask for opening bids on high bidder’s choice of the 6 individual lots. All bids taken will be in US dollars PER ACRE, multiplied by the number of acres in the lot(s) of your choice. As high bidder you may choose any individual lots or any combination of lots offered. Auctioneers will calculate the bid, place your bidder number, and note "Hold" in the appropriate columns. 3. Auctioneers will then ask for bids on any remaining lots in the same manner until a price has been established on all 6 individual lots. 4. After a price has been determined on each individual lot, the electronic board will show the 6 individual lot prices as well as a combined amount bid on Lots 1-4. The GROUP UNIT (lots 1-4 combined) will then be offered at a price over and above this amount. Auctioneers reserve the right to set the minimum acceptable raise. The high bid on the Group Unit will then be calculated and posted. If no bidding occurs on the GROUP UNIT, Auctioneers will offer and SELL Lots 1-4 individual Lots in consecutive order, ALL BIDS WILL BE FINAL. 5. However, the group unit will be offered in 4 individual lots and as a group unit until no further bids are received one way or the other. Multiple rounds of bidding may occur*. Once the property is offered, either individually or as a group unit, without establishing an overall amount greater than the current high bid, the property will not be offered in that manner again. Upon determining the manner of sale, either in individual lots or as a group, bidding will be opened briefly to establish the successful bidder(s). *Note: In the event that bidding occurs on the group unit, individual lot bidders will be given the opportunity to advance their own bids in an attempt to achieve an overall amount greater than the group unit bid. 6. Once Lots 1-4 or the GROUP UNIT sold buyer(s) have been established the Auctioneers will offer and finalize the sale of Tracts 5 & 6 in that order. 6. Your competitive bidding, not the auctioneers, determines how many rounds will be held to determine the sale price and owners(s). 7. "Sold" will be noted on the screen next to the appropriate lot(s). All property will be sold to the highest bidder(s) at absolute auction without minimum or reserve bid! 8. Tracts are only SOLD when the Auctioneer declares it SOLD and SOLD is posted to the onsite live Auction screen. Any internet or other notices of a premature sold notice will be deemed invalid and unaccepted. 9.
