Ammo will NOT be shipped to Alaska, California, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Washington DC. You must meet your state and federal requirements in order to purchase ammo.
Billing
There is a 12% buyers premium added to the hammer price. At the close of the auction the credit or debit card you have on file with HiBid (when you registered) will be billed automatically.
Shipping
There are lots that we will not ship. Be sure and look at the auction page for the lot you are interested in. If it does not say "Shipping Available" then we will not ship the item.
Shipping Ammo
We do not ship ammo to Alaska, California, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Washington DC.
Purchasing Firearms
Federal law requires firearms to be shipped to FFL Dealers. If you do not specify the name and shipping address of your dealer, your order will be delayed. Federal law requires that you be 21 years of age or older to purchase a handgun, frame or receiver. To purchase a shotgun or rifle, you must be 18 years of age or older. 18 U.S.C. Section 922(b)(1).
All guns must be transferred, picked up, or shipped through Carr's Gun and Pawn 11010 Dixie Highway, Corinth KY, 41010. Shipping will be available at the buyers expense. We charge whatever the carrier charges plus $10.00 handling fee.
To transfer a firearm out of state, Carr’s Gun and Pawn must have a copy of the FFL License for the FFL dealer in your area where you want the item shipped. The dealer or you will need to email the copy to carrrealty2000@gmail.com.
PICK UP FOR FFL DEALERS: Federal Firearms Licensee's may take possession of firearms purchased by them on the pickup date of the auction provided they have a current, valid FFL.
PICK UP FOR NON-FFL’S: If you don’t have a FFL and want to pick up your firearm, Carr’s Gun and Pawn is a federal firearms licensee. Before any firearm is transferred into your possession, you will have to fill out a 4473 and pass a background check. All background checks, transfers and related actions have to be completed at 11010 Dixie Highway, Corinth KY, 41010. All Non-FFL's must pass a background check at the time they pick up their firearms on the day designated by the Auctioneer. If your background check is delayed, you will not be able to pick up the firearm until Carr’s Gun and Pawn receives approval to transfer the gun. You can only pick up the firearm at 11010 Dixie Highway, Corinth KY, 41010.
FELONS: If you are a convicted felon, even if you have had your right to vote restored, you may not be able to own or possess firearms. Please do not bid on these weapons unless you have been issued a possessory number by the BATF.
SHOTGUNS & RIFLES: The Carr’s Gun and Pawn can convey long guns to you in the State of KY if you are from another state, provided that the long gun being conveyed is legal in the state where you reside.
HANDGUNS: If you are from a state other than the State of Kentucky, we cannot transfer a handgun to you. You will have to give the name and contact information for a federal firearms licensee in your area, and Carr’s Gun and Pawn will transfer the handgun to the FFL licensee and he will have to transfer it to you. That licensee may charge you an additional fee for that service. This does not apply to long guns.
DOMESTIC VIOLENCE OR RELATED OFFENSES: If you have ever been convicted of a crime involving domestic violence, whether it was a misdemeanor or felony, you may not possess firearms under Federal Law. If you are currently under a restraining order or charges of any kind related to a domestic situation, you may not possess firearms under Federal Law.
BACKGROUND CHECK STATUS DENIED: If you purchase a weapon and are denied, you cannot bring someone else in to get a background check done. The background check is on the bidder only. If you are the successful high bidder and are denied on the background check, you will be refunded for 75% of the invoice amount. If you know you will not pass the background check do not bid on a firearm.
Additional Terms Applied to the Purchase of Firearms
1. All modern firearms (post 1898) will be sold under Carr’s Gun and Pawn Federal Firearms License (FFL).
2. All Federal and state laws apply to the purchasers:
Long guns- (rifles, shotguns) must be 18 years of age
Hand guns- (revolvers, pistols) must be 21 years of age
3.Straw Purchases are prohibited. A straw purchase is the purchasing of a firearm for another individual who is not lawfully able to own the firearm.
4. All potential buyers must provide a valid drivers license or concealed carry permit at time of transfer. Out of state buyers must provide, the a current FFL where firearms can be shipped and background check can be conducted for buyer in your home state.
5. It is the responsibility of all potential buyers to know the laws of what firearms are prohibited in their localities.
6. All firearms are being sold “as is”.
7. Printed material is for identification only and no comment is being made as to condition.
Please have a state ID and any other appropriate identification materials when you pick up your firearm at your local FFL gun store. Your local FFL gun store will perform the necessary background check when you arrive to pick up your firearm.
