DATES: BIDDING OPENS: TUESDAY, OCTOBER 15TH 5:00 PM CST OPEN HOUSE: THURSDAY, OCTOBER 24TH 4:30-6:30 PM CST BIDDING STARTS CLOSING: TUESDAY, OCTOBER 29TH 7:00 PM CST PICKUP DAY: FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 1ST 10:00 AM-7:00 PM CST Registration: To bid you will need to register and create a username and password. Do not wait until the last few hours of the auction to register to bid. There is a verification process that may not be completed in time. Wedel Auction nor HiBid will be held responsible if a potential bidder misses an opportunity to bid. Registration is available 24-7. Please make sure you provide a valid active email address. Open House is Thursday, October 24th 4:30-6:30 PM E. Marlin St., McPherrson, KS 67460. Look for Wedel Auction signs the day of Open House. Buyers Premium: A 10% buyer's fee will be applied to your invoice total. (Example: if the total for all items purchased is $100.00 the Buyer's Premium applied will be $10.00, your total invoice is $110.00). No Sales Tax: Heart & Home Contracting is ceasing operations and all applicable sales taxes have already been paid thus no sale tax needs to be collected at this auction. There will be a $25.00 title processing fee applied for vehicle titles. Title will be mailed to the buyer via certified mail no sooner than 14 days after receipt of payment, regardless of payment type. The only acceptable payment type on titled vehicles is bank wire transfer or cash (no checks) at pick up. Payment: Credit Card on file will be charged Wednesday, October 30 at 10:00 AM. Contact us before 10:00 AM. If you wish to pay with cash (no checks) or a different credit card. Purchases over $2,500 must be paid for with bank wire transfer or cash (no checks). We will provide guidance for this process. Bidder agrees that under no circumstances will he/she initiate a chargeback on his/her credit card. No checks will be accepted. Due Diligence: Every effort has been made to provide the information, descriptions, and photos that best represent each item in the auction. However, accuracy is not guaranteed and each bidder is responsible for conducting their own independent due diligence concerning items of interest. Come to the Open House! Changes to the Auction: To best respond to various circumstances during the auction, changes to specific lots, descriptions, and photos, may become necessary and occur without notice. Lots may be added, combined, or removed without notice. Soft Closing: At the designated time the auction is set to begin closing, each lot closes in sequential order. If a bid is placed on a lot within 2 minutes of its close two additional minutes will be added. If another bid is placed two more minutes are added until all "dynamic" bids have been placed. Successful Bidder: If you are the successful bidder, you are responsible to pay for the lot(s) that you have won at the price of your final bid. Item Pick Up: The auction pickup day is Friday, November 1 from 10 AM-7 PM CST. You are responsible for the pick-up and removal of all items you have purchased. You will need to present your paid invoice, either electronically or paper, at the time of pick up. If you need assistance with removal, loading, and transporting your items you need to make arrangements before you arrive. The auction company can provide very little to remove, load, or transport items. Bidder and his or her agents and employees are responsible for any damage they may cause or liability that may occur from any of their actions on or around the auction premises. Bidder agrees that any merchandise, except vehicles, not removed by bidder by 3 days of the pickup date will be forfeited with no refunds. Bidders shall have no claim to merchandise not removed by Tuesday, November 5th, 2024. If you purchase a vehicle, contact Troy at 620-242-6999 to relay your pick up intentions or timeline. As a courtesy to the buyer, Wedel Auction will take any items that are available for shipping to The Ark Antiques and Flea Market at 301 S. Main St., McPherson, KS 67460. Buyers will be billed and charged separately from The Ark Antiques and Flea Market for shipping and handling. Their cost is a $5.00 per package handling fee plus actual shipping costs. Lots will be combined if possible. Technical Issues: In the event of technical issues with the online bidding software, Wedel Auction reserves the right to extend a portion, or the entire auction. Bidder agrees that this agreement shall be governed by the laws of the state of Kansas and hereby grants sole jurisdiction and agrees to submit to the personal jurisdiction and venue of a court of subject matter jurisdiction located in McPherson County, Kansas. Both parties waive any right to a jury trial and hereby agree to a bench trial before a judge.
