Welcome to the North Country Prenatal/Perinatal Council’s (NCPPC) 5th Annual Designer Purse Auction! NCPPC is a non-profit organization located in Watertown, NY, serving Jefferson, Lewis, and St. Lawrence counties. NCPPC is a 501(c)3 that provides a wide range of programming for families living in the tri-county area.
For the past five years, NCPPC has hosted it’s annual “December to Remember” fundraiser, a two-night auction which is scheduled for the 1st and 2nd Thursdays in December. Unfortunately, this year lake-effect weather resulted in the cancellation of the second evening. As a result, we are thankful to Adirondack Asset Auctions for their help with our major fundraiser! 100% of the funds from this auction go to support our Dolly Parton Imagination Library. Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library is a book gifting program that mails free, high-quality books to children from birth to age five, no matter their family’s income. As an affiliate, NCPPC is responsible for implementing the program within a specific community, enrolling children, and raising funds to cover book costs.
A little about our bags! Designers consist of Coach, Dooney & Bourke, Kate Spade, Michael Kors, Vera Bradley, and even a Louis Vuitton Coin Purse. All our bags are brand new and stuffed with merchandise from our generous supporters! Merchandise ranges from gift certificates, to novels, to cigars, to blankets, to games, to well you get the idea!
As Dolly says, “You can never get enough books into the hands of enough children.”
