Carried by a elephant driver (Mahout), the pointed tip and dual elephant trunk shaped protrusion to the face is double edged and inlaid in silver decoration. The shaft has a series of iron rings and at the base features a pommel in brass. Carved brass pommel is in the shape of a lion head with a smaller lion protruding in pierced carving. Massive fine antique English flintlock 'Long Fowler' musket made by "Scudamore", circa. 1820. Barrel 54”, .78 caliber with an octagon to round smooth-bore barrel with very fine engraved patent breech with one platinum and two gold bands and platinum touch-hole insert. Flat beveled-edge lock plate has fine decorative engraving and is maker signed "SCUDAMORE". Lock has a rain proof powder pan and high quality frizzen spring with roller. The long gun is in its original Flintlock configuration. All iron furniture includes engraved butt-plate, trigger guard, and patent breech. Half-stock is solid with a minor sliver of wood missing from the upper edge of the left side of the for-end with light scratches and dings. The stock has fine wrist checkering with a vacant oval silver wrist escutcheon, two sets of barrel wedge escutcheons and for-end cap. Retains the original full length wood ram rod with iron tip and brass covered iron worm. Size 69 1/2" L with a 54" L .78 caliber iron barrel

Scarce European probably Imperial German Cuirassier breastplate armour in peasecod belly form of the Napoleonic-era 1799-1815. Embossed with a raised central ridge of noticeable protrusion, low shoulders sections, and a well formed belly. Struck with a makers mark to the center of the breastplates lower Fauld above a large brass rivet. All original oversized brass rivets approximately 30 in total. Remnants of the original leather liner and edges. Reverse coated with a thin blue paint for preservation. Size 14" H x 13 1/2" W

Excellent state of preservation with light patina and oxidization as expected from age and use.

Finely woven textile mounted on a wood framed wood board. Dark chocolate brown textile with added geometric embroidery in yellow, red and coral coloring to the top and bottom. Known as a precursor to the classic period Acoma manta. Close to half the size of a manta similar to an Acoma piece woven 800 years later with brocaded or embroidered end bands in vegetal colors, just like the Puebloans wove using indigo and cochineal in the middle of the 19th century. During a visit to the glass factory artist George Fellows was gifted this lion by Mr. Tosi, the only to be produced given to then President Mr. Jimmy Carter. Tosi was known for his exceptional depictions of Murano glass with the added effect of adding gold dust and to his pieces elevating their color and uniqueness. Tosi now a master has a lineage of glassmaking back to 1483, he studied under master Albino Carrara and was gifted Carrara's corteo. Africa, Nigeria, Kaduna State, Village of Nok, Nok or Katsina or Sokoto Culture terracotta torso of a figure in crouching position with circular decoration, exposed breasts, and linear features or designs throughout. Size 7 3/4" H x 4" W

Nok figures and the discovery of the culture circa 1928 has indicated the remains of the Nok civilization once span a large area of Nigeria, Niger, and portions of Eastern Benin. The figures are marked by a style of elongated faces with horizontal triangular eyes and often depict warriors or important figures. The terracotta when in great condition exhibits a smooth slip and when worn the shell or white specks become visible in the layers revealed with wear and handling.
