The system will bid for you up to the maximum amount you entered. You could win the item for less if other bidders stop bidding at an amount less than your maximum. If 2 bidders leave the same “max bid”, the one who entered first wins. -WHAT IS “SOFT CLOSE”? Lots close slowly, usually at a rate of 3 to 6 per minute, starting at the published closing time. Bidding within the last minute of a lot will increase the bid time for that lot by 2 more minutes. It will not affect the bid time for other lots. -OUTBID EVERY TIME YOU PLACE A BID? Most of the time this is because someone else has left a max bid on the lot you are bidding on that is higher than your bids. -HOW ARE BID TIES RESOLVED? The person who placed the bid first will win the bid. -HOW WILL YOU KNOW IF YOU WON? We communicate by email so check it often. If your bid is successful after all lots have closed, the credit/debit card you registered with will automatically be charged and you will be emailed a receipt. The billing process starts after all lots are closed. -PAYMENT: We automatically charge the card in your Hibid.com account after all auction lots are closed. We accept credit and debit cards: Visa, MasterCard, Discover. If your payment does not go through, we will email you a payment link from Square. We do not accept payment at the auction pick-up. We do not accept personal checks. -ADDITIONAL CHARGES: Sales tax and a 15% buyer’s premium are added to your total. Any sales tax-exempt paperwork must be complete, correct, and submitted at least one hour before the auction starts closing. -HOW TO SET UP A PICK-UP TIME OR GET ITEMS SHIPPED: After the auction has closed and receipts have been emailed, you will receive another email/text from Shipping Saint asking you to schedule a pick-up time or have your merchandise shipped. If you choose PICK-UP, MAKE SURE YOU SELECT A PICK-UP TIME. After you click on a pick-up time you will see a confirmation screen with the time, date, and full address for pick-up- take note of that information. Different auctions have different pick-up locations. If you choose SHIPPING, we will be notified that you want your item shipped. We only ship lots that show “Shipping Available” in the expanded description. -AT THE PICK-UP LOCATION: Bring your receipt to the pick-up to ensure you receive all your lots. Bring your own loading help. If you rely on our staff to load items there is a fee of $10 per staff person.

Credit/debit card payments will not be taken over the phone. -ADDITIONAL CHARGES are as listed unless otherwise stated within the auction: - Purchased items abandoned at auction site- minimum $20 - $50 plus the cost of disposal. -Moving purchases to provide any alternate pick-up arrangement: $40 per hour, prorated based on size/volume/time, with a $5 minimum. Fees are applicable whether or not the customer provides prior notice that they cannot pick up on the scheduled date. -Moving purchases that require shipping from an auction site to bring them to the auction center for packaging: $40 per hour, prorated based on volume/time. -Judgment of "size" of the lot is at the discretion of the auction company. -Lots must be picked up on the alternate date we give you, or within 7 days of the scheduled pick-up date or they will be resold to recoup our time. -Storage at our auction facility- $10 per week. -Packing materials needed at auction sites: 50 cents per box. -Packing/handling in preparation for shipping usually starts at $5 and is dependent on staff time, materials, and size/weight/fragility of the item. In some cases, bidders will be charged less than $5 depending on the circumstance. -CONTRACT: By bidding with our auction you are entering into a contract with our terms and conditions.
