We have a local pick up scheduled on Friday, July 12, 2024 from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. CST at our facility in Urbana, IL. Pick up is also available on Saturday, July 13, 2024 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Within an hour after the auction, you will receive an email from "Shipping Saint," which we require that you use to schedule a pick up appointment. We will also send a separate post-auction email with your invoice, and all of the information in regards to pick up will be included in these 2 important emails. Be sure to check your spam, junk, and promotions folders if these emails do not show up in your inbox. You must schedule an appointment, and you must be available to pick up during the time frame(s) offered, or you can have a friend/family member pick up for you, no exceptions. A spectacular piece by international artist Rachel Haratz. Haratz was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and moved to the United States in 2000. After working in the business world for the majority of her adult life, she began her art career at the age of 55. Two time winner of the Jerry Goldstein Foundation's "Artist Merit and Achievement Award", she works out of her gallery in many different types of media including acrylic, drawing and photography. Antique Winchester Model 1873 38/40 lever action rifle. Serial number on tang is 366622B indicating a production year of 1891. 24" barrel. "Model 1873" stamp present, "38 WCF" stamp present and Winchester company and patent stamp present on top of barrel. Looks to be all original no refinishing. Normal age wear and some minor scratches on stock and fore-stock but no cracks. Rifle has not been fired but lever, hammer, trigger and ejection port all seem to be working. United States Military ammunition. Denver Ordinance Plant stamped 15832. WWII - Korea era. 5 boxes, 20 cartridges each, .30 Caliber M2. All boxes are full. One box looks to still be sealed. FOID must be presented at time of pickup. THIS LOT IS NOT AVAILABLE FOR SHIPPING.

Antique percussion cap muzzleloader. The lock plate is stamped E. Whitney but we cannot find any other numbers on the musket. There are two hand made etchings of the initials "P.H.B." One is under the trigger guard and the other is on the inside of the hammer. The musket has a 33" long barrel and a total length of approximately 47.5". Signs of use shown around hammer and nipple where there is some pitting on the barrel but the rest of the barrel does not have much pitting and is fairly smooth.
