We offer a very reasonable sell-side commission as low as 5.55% for select items such as gold, silver, coins and most vehicles. Your items will be marketed both nationally and locally. We utilize a national bidding platform, paired with our 5-star google rated service and inhouse shipping. In the past 12 months we have had customers from all 50 states and 8 provinces! We are a state licensed auction house, conveniently located in Monroe County, less than 30 minutes from downtown St. Louis, and a short 45 minute drive from St. Charles or Edwardsville.

15.55% Buyer’s Premium in effect, no up-charge for credit card use, Sales Taxes are collected per the State of Illinois rules. In general this means no sales tax on coins, currency, bullion or posted estate items. Upon bidding you are entering into a contract to buy the lot bid on. Not paying for shipping does not release you from the auction invoice, those are two separate transactions. Unless prior arrangements are made, items not picked up during the scheduled pickup times or not paid for shipping are considered a donation to the Monroe County Humane Society and the Morrison Talbott Library. Items are sold in AS-IS condition and the bidder acknowledged they have had ample time to attend a live preview. The bidder acknowledges the lot description, photos and estimates are informational only and an opinion not an expression of fact. The bidder agrees that by bidding they are satisfied with the condition of the lot and will make no attempts at returns or canceling the transaction. Appears to be signed "Davis" or "A. Davis 36." This was originally grouped with two Victor Robert Watt watercolors, Australian artist, painted in 1930s - 40s if that gives a clue.

Chinese porcelain painted on laid paper, possibly very old, framed under glass.

Both woodblock prints by artist Shodo Kawarazaki (1889 - 1973). Prints are titled: "F116 Suisen (Narcissus)" & "Fuji (Wisteria)."

Beautiful hand-colored engraving on rag paper published by Rodwell & Martin, New Bond Street--April 1st 1819. Professionally matted and framed with hanging hardware attached. Note engraving is slightly right of center but perhaps purposely to expose the rag paper edge on the left as an aesthetic detail. 27" 23 1/2" 16" 13"

Print made by: Robert Walker Macbeth After: George Heming Mason's Girls Dancing Published by: Thomas Agnew & Sons 1886 This 40" wide engraving is heavily inked on heavy paper in sepia tone brown. Only other full example we can find is in the British Museum. Unframed, some darkening of edges and wear to edges but print is strong and clean. Rare piece 17 1/2" 40" 14 1/2" 35"

His foray into the art of etching began in 1965 and, during the following years, he created a number of works of art in this medium, mostly dealing with landscapes and animal depictions. Hand colored, framed. under glass. Rare image of Fraunces Tavern, Broad St. N.Y. in the artist's interpretation of descriptions of its original 3 story state. Several fires during the 19th century made the building have to be rebuilt as the 5 story building it is today. This historic building was used as the headquarters of George Washington, a locations for peace negotiations with the British, and as federal offices after the Revolution. Oil on canvas of what we determined is the 1990 US Open where Hale Irwin became oldest player to win the US Open at Medinah CC outside of Chicago. Also images of Greg Norman, Mark Brooks, and Mike Donald who tied Irwin and lost to him in the Playoff round. Signed with initials, could be LN and '92 so we assume 1992. Though this is definitely "in the style of" Leroy Neiman, we have no way determine the original artist or history of this painting. An original oil by Neiman would be extremely rare.
