Thank you! **If we have to pick up on your behalf, there is a minimum fee of at least $20 PER ITEM to remove the item from the home and bring to our facility in Auburn. ** This is not to be mean, rude, or crude. It helps us keep track of items. Shipping: Yes, we are happy to work with our bidders on shipping. We absolutely try and keep all shipping prices as low as possible. In some cases, items that are fragile or too big for our shipper to handle, we work the Box & Go in Springfield to package and ship items. There may be a $5, $10 or $15 handling fee per item depending on the size of your package and supplies require to pack your items for safe shipping. We do our best to keep rates low. Please allow an estimated 5-10 business days after the PICKUP date for shipping. We do not provide shipping estimates. **No shipping on large items unless Ben Ladage Auctions is contacted PRIOR to auction ending** No refunds on shipping cost. An invoice will be emailed to all winning bidders at the conclusion of the auction. Acceptable forms of payment are Mastercard, Visa, Discover, Debit Card, Cash or Check. The auction is a soft close auction which means that it starts to close at the time stated, however it is a staggered close meaning the entire auction does not close out at the time stated. If it is set to close at 7:00 p.m. the first lot will not close if someone has placed a bid in the last 3 minutes, then this item will stay open for 3 more minutes. This will continue until time is out. All lots will continue this way pick-up and removal of any items you may win at this auction. LEGAL: This Agreement is made pursuant to the provisions of Section 4(b) of the Illinois Fire Protection District Act (70 ILCS 705/4(b)) in recognition of the fact that Ben Ladage, a principal of Auctioneer, is a Trustee of District. Auctioneer may charge a Buyer’s Premium on each item sold by the online auction to defray the cost of advertising and expenses related to the auction. In that case, Auctioneer will account to District for the excess of the Buyer’s Premium over the actual out of pocket auction expenses incurred by Auctioneer to conduct the auction and that excess, if any, will be remitted to District by Auctioneer so that Auctioneer will receive no compensation or return from the auction sale. It is agreed and understood that the purpose of this Agreement is to comply with the provisions of Section 4(b) of the Fire Protection District by memorializing the arrangement between Auctioneer and District and to demonstrate compliance with the exception provided by Section 4(b) regarding transactions between a fire protection district and one of its trustees.
