BUYERS TERMS
" Payment is expected the day of the auction; or a 25% cash deposit will be accepted with the balance due on following Monday. ALL DEPOSITS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE.
" Acceptable forms of payment: Cash, Cashier's Check, Company Check, Personal Check, Discover, American Express, Visa, MasterCard, and Debit Card.
" Any items purchased by check are not to be removed from Post Falls Auto Auction premises, until check clears. Approval will need to be made by a Post Falls Auto Auction representative for a pick up after check clears.
" NO ONE UNDER THE AGE OF 18 IS ALLOWED TO OBTAIN A BID CARD. BY AGREEING TO THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS YOU ARE HERE BY SWEARING YOU ARE OVER THE AGE OF 18 AND AGREEING TO UPHOLD ANY AND ALL TERMS PERTAINING TO THE PURCHASE OF ANY ITEM(S) IN OUR AUCTION. THIS INCLUDES THE AS-IS BUERS GUIDE.
" Please inspect all the items in the sale prior to bidding on them.
" You are responsible to purchase all items that were awarded to you during the auction.
" All items sell as is, where is with all faults and without warranty expressed or implied.
" All online buyers' credit cards will be charged a minimum of 25% of their invoice amount on the day of the auction. The Remaining due bill will be charged Monday following the auction.
" Out of state bidders DO NOT need to be onsite to complete paperwork. A POA for each vehicle purchased will need to be completed and notarized along with a copy of the buyers driver's license will need to be emailed, mailed or faxed to PFAA prior to the start of any title transfer work. Items cannot be removed from Post Falls Auto Auctions premises until the following has been completed.
" If you do not have enough funds to pay for your item(s) in full and they have not been by FRIDAY FOLLOWING the auction you will forfeit all payments received, and the items purchased to Post Falls Auto Auction.
OUR TEST DRIVE
We test drive each vehicle we do our best to notate any issues that we notice that could not be noticed in an idling state. We do not test these vehicles over 45mph. For instance if the engine knocks; however, the vehicle drove fine, we DO NOT notate that in the catalog. That is an issue that could be noticed during and idling state. IE Preview Days.
CATALOG REMARKS
*Front End Issue* This generally pertains to the suspension or drive train components of the front end.
*Rear End Issue* This generally pertains to the suspension or drive train components of the rear end.
*Transmission Issue* This could mean the transmission slips or is stuck in one gear etc.
*Runs Rough* This means the engine was underperforming while on a test drive
*Underpowered* This means the engine isn't supplying the normal amount of power to the vehicle. Normally these items take a while to get up to speed, or they may not get up to speed.
*Front End Noise Generally pertains to an abnormal engine noise
No sale shall be invalidated by reason of any defect of the lot or inaccuracy in any of the lots by reason of their being incorrectly described in the catalog or elsewhere and no liability shall be by the auctioneers in respect of any such faults or errors. Catalogs have been prepared only as a guide based on information from sources generally believed to be reliable and from the consignor but the accuracy thereof cannot be guaranteed or warranted by the auctioneers. Bidder acknowledges that it is his responsibility to inspect all equipment and to make his own inquiries.
We do our best to catch these items but, we may miss something. Please know what you are bidding on.
FEES
10% Buyer's Premium for Cash or Cashier's Check
12% Buyer's Premium for Checks, Debit Cards & Credit Cards
*Any item bought for $500 or less is an automatic $50 Buyer's Premium, not 10% Buyer's Premium*
6% sales tax, no sales tax charged to Out Of State Buyer's.
$14.00 Title Fee/Certified Mail Fee, charged per vehicle.
$75.00 Document Fee, charged per vehicle.
$40.00 Additional Fee, per vehicle, FOR purchasers registering in any state other than Idaho, Washington, and Montana. For ALL vehicles sold to those purchasers, Post Falls Auto Auction will first be titling in their name PRIOR to mailing to the individual. Expect delayed titles.
30 Day Trip permits are available for purchase of $10 and only for Non-Idaho residents. Trip permits can only be sold to persons with a valid drivers license and only to the purchaser of the vehicle.
REMOVAL
" All items must be paid in full before they can be removed from our facility. Items bought with a check, will not be considered paid in full until check clears.
" All items need to be removed within 5 days following the auction. Any vehicle left here longer than that, without PFAA approval, will accrue a $50 per day storage fee.
" Any Items left, at Post Falls Auto Auction's facility, for a duration longer than 90 days; the buyer agrees to forfeit any and all moneies received by Post Falls Auto Auction. The buyer also will forfeit the items that were left at Post Falls Auto Auction's facility.
