TERMS OF SALE
• All items are offered for sale as-is, where-is. Bidders must establish to their own satisfaction the authenticity and condition of the item before bidding. No special warranty is made or implied by Idaho Auction Barn regarding authenticity or era of described items.
• Appliances, electronics, and power tools that sell for $50 or more are Owner Guaranteed to work unless condition is stated otherwise in the lot description. See RETURNS & REFUNDS.
• All items offered for sale are offered for sale by auction only. There are no presales.
• All sales are final at the close of the internet bidding - no chargebacks.
• THE ACCEPTANCE OF HIGH BID BY THE AUCTIONEER CONSTITUTES A LEGAL AND BINDING CONTRACT WITH THE BUYER AND ACCEPTANCE OF THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE UNDER IDAHO STATE LAW.
BIDDING
• We accept bidding ONLINE only. If you do not have access to a computer but wish to bid, you may request Idaho Auction Barn to create an account for you and bid on your behalf.
• All items are offered for sale to the highest bidder. The highest bidder online will prevail.
• The Auctioneer reserves the right to refuse any bid not believed to be in good faith. Should any disputes arise between bidders, the decision of the Auctioneer in the exercise of judgment as to the successful bidder will be final and binding.
• Consignors are not allowed to bid on their own merchandise nor have any agent bid on their behalf. If the Auctioneer recognizes such bidding or is advised of the same, he may withdraw any or all lots consigned by the offender and will publicly recognize that consignor and/or will block that offender's bidding account.
• Bidders with a poor reputation through HiBid™ will be approved only at the Auctioneer's sole discretion and requirements and may be required to place a deposit.
• Accounts for new bidders and non-Idaho bidders may be limited or required to supply a $50 deposit until the account has been established.
BUYER’S PREMIUM
• A buyer’s premium of 13% will be charged for each item.
• Buyer’s premium is reduced to 10% for cash, cashier’s checks, personal or business checks, electronic checks, and wire transfers.
SALES TAX
• Idaho sales tax of 6% of the total amount (bid price plus buyer’s premium) will be collected for items picked up or shipped to an Idaho address.
• Non-Idaho bidders who pick up in person WILL be charged Idaho sales tax.
• No sales tax will be collected for items shipped out of Idaho.
• Buyers exempt from sales tax must provide a valid form ST-101 for tax-exempt status.
PAYMENT
• All items purchased by the successful bidder must be paid for on the day after the auction closes.

RETURNS & REFUNDS
• Items are sold AS-IS, and except for Owner Guaranteed items, we do not accept returns or offer refunds. However, your satisfaction is important to us. If you’ve received an item that is significantly different from how it was described or pictured and you are not satisfied, please call us. Any refunds or credits are given at the Auctioneer's discretion on a case-by-case basis.
• Owner Guarantee is offered on appliances, electronics, and power tools that sell for $50 or more (unless condition is stated otherwise in the lot description). If the item does not work, you may return it by 4:00 p.m. the Monday following the auction for a full refund. Item must be returned in the same condition as when it was purchased.
VEHICLES
A $32 Title Fee will be charged on all vehicles requiring titles by Idaho law.

PAYMENT TYPES
• We accept cash, credit card, debit card, cashier's check, personal or business check, electronic check, and wire transfer.
• Personal, business, and electronic checks will be accepted only after you establish a purchase history of 5 auctions with no issues AND have spent a total of at least $1,000.
• When you provide your checking account information to us or provide an image of a signed check payable to Idaho Auction Barn, you authorize us to use it to initiate electronic check payments. Funds may be withdrawn from your account as soon as the same day we initiate the payment.
FEES
• We charge a $10 fee to accept a wire transfer.
• Payments made by personal, business, or electronic check that are dishonored by the bank will be charged a $35 Returned Payment Fee.
NEW BUYERS REQUIRING SHIPPING
• NEW buyers that require shipping of a purchase over $300 must pay with an electronic check or wire transfer. Items purchased may be held for 10 days before shipping for electronic check to clear.
FIREARM PURCHASES
• Credit and debit cards are not accepted for firearm purchases.
• An electronic check or wire transfer is required for any shipped firearms. Firearms purchased may be held for 10 days before shipping for electronic check to clear.

Items purchased must be removed on the specified Checkout Date unless other arrangements have been made. Storage Fees for later pickups start at $15 minimum per weekend.

UNSHIPPABLE ITEMS
We cannot ship:
• anything with liquids or gas
• anything with batteries
• gunpowder, primers, firecrackers, or other items deemed “dangerous goods” by USPS
• taxidermied animals (outside of Idaho).
THINGS TO KNOW BEFORE BIDDING
1. We ship to the address you register with in your account information, NOT to the billing address in your credit card information. Buyer must confirm correct shipping address. Packages returned due to incorrect address are reshipped at the buyer’s expense.
2. Shipping is never guaranteed unless the bidder has confirmed it with the auctioneer prior to auction close. The auctioneer reserves the right to deem an item unshippable due to size, weight, or destination.
3. STANDARD SHIPMENTS: If both of the following are true, there is no need for you to call us for shipping approval:
• The shipping address is in the lower 48 United States,
• And the items fit in a 24” x 18” x 18” or smaller box, do not weigh more than 70 lb. total, and do not include anything deemed unshippable.
4. If a buyer has not received prior approval and buys an item deemed unshippable, the buyer must pay a RESTOCKING FEE of 30% of item price ($10 minimum).
5. Items that are fragile or have to be dismantled may have additional charges for special care or packaging materials.
6. Ship-out date is generally the Wednesday following the auction. Tracking will be provided.
SHIPPING RATES
Shipping and handling charge equals exact postage plus 30% of postage cost for handling. Minimum handling fee is $7.50. (For reference, our smallest box including postage and minimum handling runs $12.00.)
Any of the following requirements will add to the total cost:
• Signature confirmation required for items valued over $50.
• Restricted Delivery Signature required on items valued over $500.
• Adult Signature Restricted Delivery required on ammo.
• Registered Restricted Delivery required for gold, silver, and jewelry valued at over $2,500.
• Insurance automatically added to items over $100 (with a charge of 1% of item price). (Picture glass is not covered.)
• Extra charges may apply for items that require a box larger than 24” x 18” x 18”.
FREIGHT
• Freight is available upon request but must be approved by the Auctioneer prior to bidding.
• Pallet crating fees are $65 per hour plus materials and carrier charges.
ARTWORK (LARGER THAN 18” x 24”), EXTRA LARGE, HEAVY, OR FRAGILE ITEMS
These items require special packaging. Any of the following requirements will add to the total cost:
• Mirror / picture box (dimensions 37” x 27” x 4”): $5.95 ea
• Picture packer kit: $6.95 ea
• Foam packs for heavy or delicate items with a value greater than $50 : $10.00 per box
Even with special packaging, picture glass is prone to breakage. It is not covered by insurance, and buyer assumes the risk.
FIREARMS
• We ship only to FFL Dealers in the United States via FedEx. (Exception: We do NOT ship firearms to California, Connecticut, Cook County Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, or Washington D.C.)
• Non-Idaho residents may pick up rifles or shotguns in person but will be required to pass a NICS background check; this includes buyers who hold non-Idaho concealed weapon permits. (Background checks may result in a delay of up to a week.) Handguns must be shipped to an FFL dealer in your state. Buyers are responsible to know the regulations regarding the legality of gun purchases for their state and provide us with the FFL Dealer to ship to.
AMMO
• The minimum shipping and handling charge for ANY QUANTITY of ammo starts at $30 due to the requirement to ship via FedEx with Adult Signature Restricted Delivery.
