This auction is for an unopened, still factory sealed capsules, of the Bunker Hill Company Silver Medallion Set. This set was limited to 30,000 productions in 1981 & 1982 combined.
This set is extremely valuable as a collectible, and retails online for between $290-$400.
This is a 1981 collection. Capsules have never been opened or tampered with, and all 5 medallions are still in Brilliant Uncirculated Condition. This is an extremely rare find, as most of these were given as gifts and have since been broken apart and/or capsules have been opened. Each medallion is 1 Troy oz .999 Fine Silver, and was smelted at the Bunker Hill Company in Kellogg, ID. The finished silver was then sent to The Metal Arts Company in Rochester, NY, who brilliantly minted these coins over a 2 year period.
This set comes with a Beautiful Blue portfolio, an index card and the 5, 1 Troy oz Silver medallions, in Brilliant Uncirculated condition still sealed from the factory.
At this time, it is estimated that there are less then 10,000 of these sets remaining complete, and of those less then 3,000 of them are from the 1981 Series.
