1995 JABIRU SK AIRCRAFT 1996 kit, single engine propeller Originally VH registered, VH-SCW Approximately 482 hours (subject to small increase as aircraft is flown regularly) 2200A engine 60 hours since rebuild Prop 5 hours since new Reconditioned carburetor All books and manuals Basic panel Multicom UHF/VHF radio Dynon D3 unit installed New brakes wheels and tyres Annual due Feb 2025 Interior very clean and tidy 8/10 Exterior 7/10 Performance: Cruise @95 knots 60 Litre tank Average 12 litres per hour Stall speed 40Knots Weight 420kg with upgrade to 480 possible. FROM THE VENDOR: ""Beautiful Jabiru SK aeroplane in lovely condition. Owned by a builder and restorer of racing and sports cars. Purchased 2 years ago from a long time owner with the intention of moving into RAA, the current owner advises that he simply does not have the time to devote to this aeroplane due to business and other commitments. Originally built and registered in the VH (GA) register, the SK was re-registered in RAA "Category 19" meaning that a lot of the maintenance of the aeroplane is able to be performed by the owner, saving costs and allowing a lot more freedom of use. The aeroplane has the usual instruments and has also been fitted with a multifunction Dynon D3 mounted in dash. The radio is a UHF/VHF unit and is working well. The current owner has spent considerable time and money on refurbishing various parts of the aeroplane including the brake discs, calipers and pads and the wheel alignment has been reset. All maintenance has been performed in accordance with the factory manuals and all parts have been sourced directly from Jabiru, no shortcuts or reproduction parts here.. The aeroplane is clean, and has always been hangered. Carpets and seat trims are in very good condition and there is none of the residual odour often found in small aeroplanes., The windscreen and other perspex is in good order. The Jabiru starts, taxis and flies very well, with brisk climb and superb cruising speed, making it the ideal intro level aeroplane. A very economical one as well, returning just 12 litres approximately per hour, the SK will cruise above 95 knots and is very forgiving in the stall. The 2 stages of flap allow for an easy set up for finals and the aeroplane is comfortable at 65 knots over the fence. All in all a good little aerolance sadly underutilized and one which would suit a variety of owners wanting a reliable, economical and comfortable machine""
