A monitor is like a flatscreen TV you connect to a desktop or laptop computer, either as a primary or supplemental display. Whether it’s an Apple monitor or a BenQ, Dell, Samsung, Sony, ViewSonic, or some other brand of display, typical used monitors have diagonal screen sizes of 17 to 27 inches or more. Recent models come in a widescreen format with a 16:10 or 16:9 width-to-height aspect ratio, but you’ll also see old displays with the old 4:3 standard ratio, too. Monitors may include integrated speakers and/or USB ports for your convenience. Some even have special technologies, such as higher refresh rates for fast videogames, impressive color gamuts for photo and video processing, or digitizers that transform the displays into interactive touchscreens. On the used market, you may even see old-fashioned CRT (cathode ray tube) displays for sale or auction on the cheap. Not finding what you seek in HiBid.com’s monitor auctions?
