1883 Liberty Head Nickel With CENTS WC variety ANACS UNC details. Scarcer variety of the two, this with "CENTS" nickel offers uncirculated details as it was lightly cleaned in its past. Appears to have a lustrous obverse, as the reverse looks to have been cleaned. Housed in the older smaller "soapbox" ANACS holder.

1883-1912 Liberty V Nickel Complete Set in Album. A very interesting set, as the owner really spent some time to find the "worst known" for each date, which is actually quite an accomplishment!. Some nickels are holed, some arecounterstamped, and some have other issues with them. The early key dates of 1885 and 1886 are both holed near the top. and the 1886 has a very interesting "starburst" engraved pattern on the reverse. The 1895 is counterstamped on the reverse LENA EBISCH, ERIE, a woman born in 1862 and died in 1910 at the age of 48 in Erie Pennsylvania. The 1897 is counterstamped 25 on the obverse. The 1902 has an odd pictorial counterstamp. Some of the coins have square or rectangular nail holes. The 1912-S is actually one of the better looking coins, but has some rim dings. Housed in a vintage (c1960) blue Whitman album.

Sold by telemarketers for over $400, and still selling them at that price for ones marked BU, as this one is actually graded MS-65. The hand signed certificate is missing.
