West Africa, Burkina Faso, Mossi peoples tall and slender figure with tribal marks to the face. The historic Mossi Kingdom ruled their land until French colonial powers arrived in the 19th century. The Mossi Kingdoms were made up of five great kingdoms: Ouagadougou, Tenkodogo, Fada N'gourma, and Zondoma and Boussouma. Each kingdom had its own domestic power and independence, but they shared rituals, military, and family. Size: 47 3/4" H, 5" W
