The "boxing" is especially nice on this plane.
This plane was owned by Andrew Fox, who was listed as a 36YO locomotive Millwright in an 1885 Hamilton, Ontario gazetteer. It is interesting to note that this is one of a number of planes made by Howland and Auburn Tool found in this chest. Also, that Juson, a Hamilton Merchant had a plane in this chest. Knowing due to political affiliations, that Juson would not likely have used Dryburgh, as a source it would be easy to speculate that he was using Howland/Auburn as his source for his branded planes.
